Peterson glanced toward the estate, then back at Hannah.

“Trying to get in?”

“Yeah, I forgot to notify Remington in advance,” Hannah replied.

She then took out her phone and added, “I was about to call him.

Shaking his head, Peterson gently held her hand to stop her from dialing and said, “No need.

I’m free right now, so let me take you in.

Hannah glanced at the white car nearby and asked, “Weren’t you about to go out?”

This is more important.

With that, Peterson opened the passenger door of her car and signaled for the white vehicle to leave.

He then looked at the bodyguards at the gate before getting into the car.

“Come on in,” Peterson gestured to Hannah.

Hannah quietly followed him, getting more confused.
