Chapter 837 We Are Mr Shane's Allies
Listening to the discussions of the crowd, Kingsley frowned as he stood among them.
He knew that Alice was not an incompetent doctor.
Even if she had just finished a night shift and was very tired, she wouldn't mistake whether a patient was sick.
At this moment, a group of inconspicuous young men walked directly through the crowd toward Kingsley.
After approaching him, the group leader respectfully said, "Boss Nicholson, my name is Terrell Keller. We are Mr. Shane's associates."
Kingsley nodded.
He guessed these men should be the ones that Kenny sent to protect Alice. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
As he had been worried that Matt and others would harm Alice, he specifically instructed Kenny to find a few clever guys to protect her secretly.
Terrell remorsefully lowered his head and whispered, "We have been discreetly watching and never letting our guard down, afraid that something unexpected might happen to Dr. Kramer. B-But we couldn't enter Dr. Kramer's consultation room and didn't expect this to happen..."
"It's not your fault." Kingsley patted his shoulder.
"Whether this incident was an accident or a premeditated trap, it's beyond your control."
Baron quickly spoke up after seeing Kenny's associates had arrived. "Boss Nicholson, let's go in and see. We should find out what's going on."
However, he knew in his heart that Alice was not only Kingsley's second elder sister but was also likely to become Mrs. Nicholson in the future.
How could he possibly let this great opportunity for merit slip into the hands of Kenny's associates?
Kingsley nodded, his face darkening. "Let's go inside."
With that, he strode toward the outpatient clinic of the cardiology department.
Baron glanced at Terrell and the others, "Wait outside the corridor and be ready to assist."
After speaking, he immediately followed Kingsley with his subordinates.
Seniority and status were highly valued in the underworld, so Terrell didn't dare to offend Mr. Howe. Therefore, he could only roll his eyes and nod in agreement.
Passing through the corridor, Kingsley and the gang arrived at the entrance of the outpatient clinic. Two security guards in uniform were standing there, preventing anyone from coming too close to watch the commotion.
When the two security guards suddenly saw a large group of fierce and burly underworld gang members approaching, they felt their scalps tingle.
One of them was so scared that his face trembled, but he still mustered up the courage to say, "W- What do you want? Are you family members of the patient and have come to cause trouble? I'm telling you, the situation hasn't been figured out yet, and the police haven't arrived. You are not allowed to go in and disturb the doctor!"
Kingsley stepped forward. "My name is Kingsley Nicholson, and I'm here to find Dr. Alice Kramer."
"Dr. Kramer?"
The security guard glanced at Kingsley for a moment, then looked fearfully at the strong men behind him. He trembled while saying, "Wait here. I'll go in and ask her."
After saying that, he turned around and ran into the clinic.
A while later, Jude's voice was heard. "Mr. Nicholson is here? Let him in quickly!"
"Yes, yes..."
The security guard ran out and said to Kingsley, "Director Lynch asked you to come in."
However, he immediately added, "But these people can't come in. It's already very chaotic inside."
"Okay." Kingsley nodded and turned to Baron. "Mr. Howe, you and your men wait here."
Baron immediately responded, "Yes, Boss Nicholson!"
Kingsley didn't speak another word and walked directly into the clinic with a stern face.
The clinic was divided into two sections.
The doctor conducted consultations in the outer section, where there was a desk and a computer.
Through a small door, inside the room was the treatment room.
Alice was standing next to the examination bed.
On the bed was a man in his forties.
His eyes were tightly closed, and he seemed pale. It seemed that he had already passed away.
Next to the "corpse" was a man and a woman, crying and wailing hysterically.
They kept accusing Alice of misdiagnosing the patient, causing their loved one to die tragically.
