Chapter 5016 The Frigid Continent
"| see,"
Austin said, his voice distant and lost in thought.
He had not imagined that to be the way Pastor had become a god of chaos.
“Back then, Pastor was one of the richest gods of chaos. He accumulated most of his wealth from that land of danger. If | remember correctly, the teleportation runes he left for you were from there too,” remarked the infinity beast.
"| think you're probably right,"
Austin said with a nod when he considered it.
“Austin, it's up to you whether you want to look for the fruit of supreme enlightenment. | cannot make the decision for you.
You know all the opportunities in there, despite the trouble you may run into.
If you're very lucky, you may make it out alive.
But, if you're unlucky, it's very likely you'll die.
Of course, with your talent and the power of the Magical Polarity Token, it's quite possible you'll eventually break through and become a god of chaos sometime in the future.
But without the fruit, it will take longer and probability is lower as well,”
said the White Emperor, not mincing his words.
Austin was silent for a moment when he heard this.
In the past he would have thrown caution to the wind and rushed into that land, regardless of any threat of danger. Now though, he was married and had a family. He could not afford to be so reckless.
He thought about Windy in particular, who was carrying his baby.
“Master, with my skills and the Magical Polarity Token, what do you think my chances are of becoming a god of chaos?" Austin asked after a pause of contemplation.
"I'd say about forty percent.
But do not think of the odds as against you. There are governing gods in most space seas in the Absolute Space Sea. That means there's a significant number of them.
Even so, only very few can break through and become gods of chaos in the end.
Most would only have a ten percent chance of becoming a god of chaos.
A forty percent chance is then very high,"
explained the White Emperor, trying to ease Austin's worries.
“Forty percent? That's not even half. There's no certainty at all that | will be able to become a god of chaos.
It's all up to luck it seems,"
Austin sighed, smiling bitterly.
"You're right.
Your success depends almost entirely on luck at this point,”
replied the White Emperor honestly.
"What's my possibility of succeeding if | get the fruit of supreme enlightenment?"
Austin asked hopefully.
"With the fruit, | suppose your chances will be at about eighty percent.
Let's put it this way; with the fruit, as long as you don't encounter a string of terribly bad luck, you'll most likely accomplish what you wish,"
revealed the White Emperor.
“Well then, that settles it. | will go to those lands of danger in search of the fruit of supreme enlightenment." Austin did not hesitate in coming to his decision.
"Good.
I'll tell you the location of one of the lands of danger.
| explored it once upon a time,
and so | know a thing or two that might be of use to you.
| think this is your best option to go to."
The White Emperor sent a spiritual soul message into Austin's Soul Sea as he spoke. "| want to go back and see my family before | set off,"
Austin said.
He did not know what he'd face in that land of danger. He might even die.
He planned on spending some time with those who mattered most before he left.
“As you wish," replied the White Emperor with a nod.
He knew what was on Austin's mind.
Austin then returned to the small world his family lived in.
He spent the next fifty years enjoying some quality time with them.
He then said his goodbyes to his family and left the small world.
He did not tell them where he was going, thinking it best not to worry them.
“Master, please help me take care of these creatures from the Sea of Chaos,”
Austin requested of the White Emperor.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm alive, they will be protected,"
the White Emperor promised.
"You have nothing to worry about, Austin. | will protect your family and the creatures from the Sea of Chaos as well. And if it's necessary, I'll send them to my race's territory to keep them safe,"
the infinity beast said, further reassuring Austin.
"Sir, have you found your clansmen?"
Austin asked.
"I've contacted them and know where they are. | will meet with them later.
With the protection of my race, even the darkness race and the Time Chamber Sect can't harm the creatures from the Sea of Chaos,”
the infinity beast replied with a proud smile.
"That's great to hear."
Austin was ecstatic.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
The infinity beast race was tremendously powerful.
With their assistance and protection, the creatures from the Sea of Chaos would be able to live in peace.
“Master, sir, I'll be leaving now."
Austin bid the White Emperor and the infinity beast farewell as he readied to take off. "Goodbye. Be careful out there,”
the White Emperor said.
Austin then exited the Fallen Divine Valley.
The land of danger the White Emperor told him about was located in a very remote area.

He did not know how much time had passed,
but eventually, he began closing in on his destination.
"The Frigid Continent is just ahead."
Austin's excitement was growing now.
The land of danger he was making for was known as the Frigid Continent.
It was a vast land overrun with a terrible freezing power.
Austin looked off into the distance and caught sight of a huge white vortex in front of him. A horrifying cold wind roared ferociously from it.
This was the entrance to the Frigid Continent.
He would have to pass through this vortex if he wanted to go in.
Without hesitation, he made for the vortex.
"What a terrible, icy wind! This place is filled with the power and law of ice.
This is probably the only place in the Absolute Space Sea with an environment like this!" Austin cried out as he approached the entrance.
He then passed through...
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The cold wind whistled and roared wildly, slicing at Austin's body like a knife of ice.
His body immediately began bleeding from the numerous cuts that covered him.
If ordinary governing gods came here, they would be hacked to pieces in an instant.
Fortunately, Austin possessed a magnificently tough body with@ (\ r arkableseda¢ery ability allowing him to withstand the freezing cold. Please read the original content at .

He was now a lot more relaxed. The eight sacred fires were very powerful after all. "No wonder even the gods of chaos do not dare to come into such lands of danger,"
Austin sighed.
