Nikolai’s Pov:-

I wrapped a towel around my waist and used another one for drying my hair. I grabbed the doorknob and a sigh left my lips. I shouldn’t have pushed her away like that, she must have felt bad.

God!

I pulled the door open and stepped outside, my eyes moved to my bed and found it empty. She changed the bedsheets and set my bed before leaving my room. I ran my fingers through my hair while exhaling, I shouldn’t have pushed her like that. Looking at the neat bed, I felt extremely guilty and mad at myself.

I’m sure she’s hurt, why the hell did I push her like that. Fuck! I should talk to her before she misunderstands me. I quickly dressed up and strolled out of my room. As I was walking through the dark hallway all I could do was hope she’s not hurt by me.

I raised my hand and was about to knock on her door but I stopped as something caught my ear, a small cry. It was distant but I could hear her crying inside her room like a kid. I felt my heart clench as I heard her crying. I felt this guilt and regret knowing she’s crying because of me.

I clenched my fist and anger raised inside me, I wanted to go inside and stop her from crying but I stopped myself because I’m angry at myself. I don’t why but my heart is weirdly beating rapidly against my ribcage and I feel extremely guilty for making her cry.

“I’m sorry,” I mumbled before strolling back to my room. I felt this rage burning through my veins and I don’t understand why I felt it in the first place. I just have sex with her and I did have it with many other women but I never felt all these ever.

Why do I feel so angry hearing her cry? Why does my heart clench inside my chest when I see my bed empty? What is happening to me?

I pushed the door and strolled inside my bedroom, I ran my fingers through my hair and paced back and forth in frustration and rage. I don’t know why but I can’t let her cry like that. I have to say sorry to her first thing in the morning.

I have to explain to her why I pushed her in the first place! God! I shouldn’t have done that.

Julianna’s Pov:-

I woke up in the morning feeling a slight headache and the worst feeling ever, no matter what I do I couldn’t let this headache slide. I had to just fresh up and move downstairs, to the kitchen. Whatever happened last night kept flashing in front of my eyes but I kept pushing those thoughts down. I have to stop thinking about it and ignore him at all costs.

“Good morning, Julia,” I heard Flora’s voice as soon as I entered the kitchen.

“Hey, Good morning,” I replied. I walked towards her and began the breakfast process and tried my best to not maintain any kind of eye contact with her since I’m quite bad at lying to her. I’m sure she will catch my lies even if I try to lie to her.

God!

I could hear Penolope’s chatter from afar and there were multiple footsteps, I turned back and glanced at the dining area and saw her with someone. I stared at them with curiosity, Who is that guy? I couldn’t hear what they were talking about but I could see them in a deep conversation.

I saw him somewhere, he looked familiar. He must be one of Nikolai’s bodyguards and must be living here. By the way, they both are talking and laughing with each other, I’m sure there is something going on between these two. I mean, the way they are talking and looking at each other, makes it clear that they are into each other.

I watched them while preparing the breakfast and I swear I noticed some kind of tension between them, it might be sexual or something else. I carried the dishes to the dining table and hearing my footsteps they both turned to me.

“Hey, Julia!” I heard Penelope,

“Hey, Good morning,” I greeted her while placing the dishes on the table and turning to her,

“Good morning,” She replied, “This is Alan,” she said while glancing at him, “Alan, this is Julianna Mitchell,”

“Hello, ” he extended his hand towards me and I took, “Nice to meet you, Julianna Mitchell,”

“Hello, Nice to meet you too… You can just call me, Julia,” I said while taking his hand,

“Okay,” he smiled,

He looks good, he’s tall, handsome with manly features. He sat beside Penelope and in just seconds they went back to their chatter. I quietly did my work and sat in the chair, I glanced at Flora who walked towards me and sat beside me.

“Where’s Nikolai?” she asked looking around and as she mentioned his name, whatever happened between us last night in the kitchen rushed back to my mind. I swallowed hard as an image of us both kissing while laying on the kitchen floor flashed in front of my eyes.

“I-I don-don’t know,” I replied while lowering my head and grabbing the dish in front of me trying to make myself look busy.

I gulped hard and glanced at her from the corner of my eyes. I have to stay away from Nikolai and ignore him as much as I can. I don’t want to talk to him and nor do I want to look at him, I know he didn’t enjoy last night and if I look at him, I’ll hate myself for not controlling myself and giving my virginity to him.

I was about to start my breakfast, I heard footsteps coming towards the dining table and turned in the direction. As my eyes caught the sight of Nikolai walking down the stairs, I quickly turned to my plate.

Fuck!

Hurry up, Julia, eat fast and run from here.

I quickly began to eat my breakfast in a hurry and tried to not gain anyone’s attention while doing that.

“Good Morning, Nik,” I hear Penelope greeting him,

“Good Morning, Nikolai,” Alan greeted,

“Morning, everyone,” he greeted back,

I hear him pulling his chair and sitting down. I felt his eyes moving onto me and my heart raced in my chest.

Calm the fuck down Julia, My subconscious began yelling inside my head but my heart kept beating rapidly. His eyes were boring into my skin and I couldn’t stop myself from glancing at him and meeting his electrifying blue eyes.

Shit!

I quickly looked back at my plate.

“Julia, eat slowly!” I hear Flora telling me, everyone’s eyes turned to me and I internally sighed deeply.

“I’m just starving,” I chuckled awkwardly.

His eyes were watching me like a hawk and I could feel myself growing nervous and bothered under his watchful eyes.

Jesus Christ! Save me from this Demon.

Please make him stop looking at me like that.

Let something fall in his eyes and make him turn away from me, I swear I’ll run away from here in just sec like a lighting bolt.

God Please.
