Chapter 1142
Ken's eyes widened in disbelief. "For real?"
"Of course," Lulu replied. "So don't bother me anymore."
Ken simply folded his arms before his chest as he looked on interestedly. "Then tell me are you a top or a bottom?"
"What?" Lulu was perplexed.
Ken laughed out loud right then, and Lulu looked at him as if he was crazy. "Go to the hospital if you have issues."
"I'm perfectly fine," Ken replied, shaking his head. "Why would I be sick?"
Sighing, he explained, "The fact that you haven't heard of those terms when you're claiming to be a lesbian makes it obvious you're lying. You prefer men in the end."
Lulu then realized that 'top' and 'bottom' was some lingo, but she certainly had no idea even if she did not discriminate against homosexuals.

Star suddenly woke up, and Lulu hurried to the nursery to find her kicking her legs and bawling loudly.
Lulu checked to see that her diaper was clean, so Lulu brought her water since she might be thirsty.
To no surprise, Star stopped crying, and Lulu picked her up when she was almost done with her other work.
The air outside was fresh, and she put a little beret on Star's head and took her outside.
Star smiled happily from being carried, but Ken tagged along, latching to them like a piece of bubble gum.
"Don't you have anything else to do?" Lulu asked.
Ken reclined against a lounge chair. "Aren't I doing it?"
Lulu frowned. "What are you talking about?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to do something."
"You're watching me?" Lulu demanded. "Did Mr. Slate put you up to this? Doesn't he trust me? Is he afraid I'm unable to take good care of Star or if he'd lose something from his house?'
Ken had realized that both Lulu and Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

He had plenty of time to spare anyway.
"Is that what you think?" he asked. "Is Zachary that unworthy of your trust?"
"I don't think that lowly of him," Lulu retorted. "Aren't you the one who keeps dropping hints?"
"That's not what I intended." Ken cleared his throat. "Don't get the wrong idea now."
Still, Lulu was dead sure that he had come over for two days to keep an eye on her.

As Star fell asleep in her arms before she knew it, Lulu excused herself to return inside and locked the door behind her so that she was not disturbed.
Ken stayed outside, knowing boundaries well enough to not pester her.
His phone suddenly started ringing, and he whipped it out to see a call from Zachary.
He declined it right away!
