Tihana stood still in shock with widened eyes, just like the first time. She wasn’t done processing his last words then this happened!

He bit her lower lip and she gasped, giving him the chance to deepen the kiss.

Aiden grabbed her waist as he also pressed his body to hers and she moaned.

“I don’t want you to go. I’ve had enough lonely life for this few days that you weren’t around.” Aiden paused and said hoarsely into the kiss, taking one of his hands slowly to her thigh.

“Leave.” Aiden ordered and she rushed out in a haste without dropping the files.

Aiden turned back to Tihana to continue with their make out session but she pushed him off, slightly though.

“What are you trying to do?” She asked still trying to catch her breath as she rearranged her clothes.

“What do you mean?” Aiden asked back but she didn’t reply.

“Weren’t you enjoying this?” Aiden asked again and she scoffed.

“You took me unaware, the same way you did the other day, so you better don’t think much about it.” Tihana replied in a small glare.

Aiden put his hands in his pockets as he quietly went to sit on his desk.

“Are you still breaking off ties with me?” Aiden asked, gazing keenly at her. His voice was almost not heard.

“I’ve made my decision already and I am not going back on it.” Tihana replied, staring everywhere but him.

She picked up her bag and twisted the knob of the door open to leave but stopped again upon hearing Aiden’s voice.

“Don’t go. I know I’ve been nothing but a jerk and I promise to change.” He said out loud, hoping she would reconsider.

Tihana was almost forced to chuckle.

She sighed and finally left without turning back.

Blossom sat down with her head bowed. It’s been days since she was put in these dirty and stinking place like she referred it to be.

She was neither tortured nor mistreated badly by the wardens but still, she hated it because of how poor the environment was compared to her dad’s mansion.

She tried not let the tears threatening to fall have its way.

For the past few days now, she has been crying herself to sleep with no one to console her.

The cell cracked open but she didn’t bother to look up.

“Come out, you have a visitor.” The warden said.

Slowly, she stood up and the warden led her out.

“Trenton?” She called out surprised.

He also stood up on seeing her coming.

“Blossom? What happened to you? How did you get here?” Trenton asked worriedly.

“It’s a long story, Trent.” She replied lowly after settling on the seat.

“What actually happened?” Blossom didn’t reply immediately and when she did, it came with tears.

“I tried to make Aiden understand how badly I was in love with him but I guess he got the wrong signal.” She said and sniffed.

Trenton gently wiped off her tears with his hand, making her look up at him then he took her hand in his.

“What is your dad doing about this?”

“I don’t really know but he once told me that Aiden has refused to withdraw the case.”

“Can’t he do something else about it? I can give my assistance if he needs one.”

“There’s no other way, Aiden is the only one with the power to withdraw the case. You and I know who Aiden is truly in this country.”

“The nerves of the bastard.” Trenton cussed under his breath.

“It will be fine.” He cheered her as he rubbed her hands and she sniffed in back her tears.

“I hope so.”

“What would you like to have, ma’am?” The waitress asked warmly.

“I would have a hamburger and milkshake.” Diana replied and she wrote it down.

“And you sir?” She turned to Wayne and asked.

“Get me the same thing.” She bowed slightly and left.

“How was the office?” Wayne asked, trying to strike a conversation.

“What else can I say other than to say it was stressful as usual.” Diana replied wearily and he smiled.

“Maybe one of these days, I’ll come to get a job in your office as your right hand man, that way you’ll feel less stressed out of your job.” Wayne suggested teasingly and she bursted out into laughter. Wayne smiled cheekily on seeing this.

“How can I have a right hand man when I am not the boss or anyone related to him?” Diana asked after her laughter subsided.

“You could be the first worker to break that rule, you know.” Wayne answered in a lopsided smile.

“And you think I’m permitted to?” She asked in a raised eyebrow.

“Why not?” Wayne shrugged and Diana gave a questioning face.

“I can’t, besides, you are Aiden’s right hand man already and I wouldn’t want him to bite off my ear when he finds out.” Diana chuckled at her statement.

“Like he would even care.”

“I bet he will.”

“Here are your orders.” The waitress came to drop their orders then left.

“Can we eat now?.” Diana whined like a child and Wayne chuckled.

“Sure.”
