The Persistent CEO Wants A Baby

Chapter 40 Don’t let them take me away!

Aiden slowly opened his eyes but closed it back immediately the sun rays came in touch with his eyes.

He slightly opened them again and sat up before rubbing his head.

His head was aching real bad. He tried to recall what happened the last night but his headaches only increased.

He looked around him and everything felt weird to him. He tried standing but sat back on the bed when he felt dizzy.

Wayne entered into the room and Aiden looked up at him from the bed.

“Hey! How’re you feeling now?” Wayne asked sitting beside him.

“What happened?” Aiden asked back quietly. Wayne stared at him perplexed.

“You don’t remember what happened to you yesterday?”

“I tried recalling but my head aches real bad.” Aiden replied and he sighed.

“Well, Blossom spiked your drink but thankfully, Diana saved you.”

Aiden instantly remembered everything that happened, beginning from where Blossom sent him an sms to meet him at the garden down to where she almost had sex with him but a lady came to save him.

“That daughter of a bitch.” Aiden muttered, rubbing his head.

“By the way, I saw Tihana leaving the house so early this morning, I don’t know why but…..” Aiden stood up abruptly with widened eyes, startling Wayne and he paused what he was saying.

Aiden remembered everything he did to her last night, how he forcefully had his way with her and she pleaded for him to stop but he didn’t listen.

“Where is she now?”

“She left and she looked quite angry. I tried to stop her but she didn’t even look at me.”

Aiden folded his knuckles as he fell to the floor with pain in his chest.

What has Blossom made him do?

“Have this glass of water.” Diana offered but Tihana refused to collect it instead she allowed more tears roll down her cheeks.

Diana sighed and dropped the glass of water on the table.

Tihana had come into her house so early in the morning and has narrated everything to her.

She still didn’t believe Aiden had done such a thing to her friend but then she knows it wasn’t his intentions.

It was all Blossom’s fault.

“He is nothing but a monster, I thought he was different from Trenton but he is much more worst than him.” Tihana cried out and Diana felt so sorry for her.

She brought Tihana’s head to her chest as she tried to stop her from crying.

“It’s alright, everything will be fine.” Diana cooed gently. This was the only thing she could do right now, to console her friend.

Mr Norman drove into the compound as he parked his car in the garage.

He came out and went inside with the maids who came to collect his briefcase upon hearing the sound of his car.

Today was Sunday but yet he went to the office because he had an important meeting.

“Where is my daughter?”

“Welcome home Sir Norman.” Blossom’s nanny and also the head of the maids greeted immediately she sighted Mr Norman in the living room.

“Where is my daughter?” Mr Norman nodded before repeating his question.

“She is in her room and has refused to come downstairs since you left. She even refused to take lunch.” The nanny said in a slight bow.

“Really?” Mr Norman asked to be sure.

“Yes.” The nanny replied.

Mr Norman sighed as he sat on the couch.

“Did you ask her why?”

“I did but she refused to talk, she clearly asked me to stay off her business.”

Mr Norman sighed again. His daughter’s attitude was getting worst each day that passes and he was beginning to get tired of it.

He thought she would change as the day goes by but he guess he was wrong.

Sometimes, he wonders if he has gone wrong in bringing her up or lacked a skill that was so essential to bring her up.

All her life, he has tried to be the best dad she could ever want since she lost her mother at a very tender age.

He’d promise her late mother to be both a father and a mother to her.

He made sure she lacked nothing financially and was also trying his best to be there for her psychologically as a guardian which was why he hired a nanny to assist him in that aspect, just in case he was out of town.

A maid served him a chilled bottled water and a glass cup. She poured in some water into the cup and gave it to him. He gulped in little amount before dropping it back in the tray.

He closed his eyes as he rested his head on the couch.

The nanny who was standing behind him just shook her head in pity. She knew he was thinking about his daughter again and it only broke her heart that she couldn’t do anything to help.

Mr Norman was a man with a kind heart, his daughter was the only one who always tries to make him look bad in front of people because of her attitude.

She had often told him to minimize the rate at which he saves her from every situation but he doesn’t listen, saying he was her father and it was his duty to protect her from any sorts of danger.

Mr Norman stood up and headed upstairs to his room.

He slumped to the bed immediately he entered as he also closed his eyes.

He was tired from the numerous business meetings he was having this days but what can he do, that was the only way he was making his wealth.

He sat up and made to start removing his wears when a maid rushed into the room with a panicking face.

He turned to her immediately with a stern face, trying to figure out why she didn’t knock before entering.

“I’m sorry for barging in this way sir but the cops are here and they demanded for me to bring Miss Blossom downstairs.”

“For what?” He enquired now on on his feets.

“They didn’t tell and only insisted for her to be brought to them. Mrs Grace asked me to tell you first.” The maid replied and his anxiety only increased.

What could his daughter have possibly done this time that warranted the law?

“Let’s go.” He said and went downstairs immediately with the maid.

“Good afternoon sir. We’ve been given an order to bring your daughter along with us to the station.” One of the cops stated showing his ID card to Mr Norman.

“Please, what did she do?” Mr Norman asked. If there was anything she did then it could be settled within them.

“We can’t say sir, it was an order to bring her along with us.”

“Bring her out now else we would be forced to get her out ourself.” Another cops said and it angered Mr Norman.

“I need to speak to your colonel first.” He demanded.

If there was anything his daughter did then it could be settled within them.

He wasn’t going to let her just go to jail.

The cops put a call through to their colonel and gave it to Mr Norman.

“Hello, this is the father of Blossom Norman. I would love to know what my daughter did that made you send your boys to my house to arrest her.”

“I demand to know right now else she is going no where.” Mr Norman went further to say and the colonel narrated the reason to him.

Mr Norman couldn’t contend what the colonel told him as he gave the cops the phone back in shock.

“Nanny, tell Blossom to meet me here immediately.” Mr Norman instructed the nanny, having no other choice.

The nanny nodded and left. She came back minutes later with Blossom who had this scared look after seeing the cops.

“Miss Blossom Norman, you’re under arrest as anything you do or say would be used against you in the court of law.” One of the cops said and handcuffed her.

“What is happening?” Blossom asked looking scared.

“Dad, where are they taking me to?” She asked again but her father didn’t reply. He was still shocked from what he heard from the colonel.

“Sir Norman, are you going to give her out just like that?” The nanny asked worriedly coming to hold him.

Although she hated the attitude Blossom portrayed, she still wouldn’t love her to go to prison. She raised her from a baby and has become a big part of her.

“Dad? Dad, please help. Don’t let them take me away.” Blossom cried out this time as the cops finally took her away.

Mr Norman let a tear drop from his eyes. He was helpless at the moment and couldn’t do anything to stop them and save his daughter.
