Chapter 33 Pretence doesn’t suit you
It was a Monday morning which means a new beginning of the week for all the workers.
Tihana was seen getting ready for work in her room.
She was still on her towel as she just finished having her bath.
She stepped out of the restroom and walked straight to her dressing table to take her cream.
Just when she started rubbing the cream on her body, the door of her room opened and Aiden came in.
“No, don’t!” Tihana shouted immediately but it was too late.
Tihana’s shout scared Aiden a little bit as he didn’t know why she screamed that way.
Tihana turned back, holding on tight to her towel.
“What are you doing in my room? Why did you enter without knocking?” Tihana rushed her questions with her back turned against him.
Her heart was thumping really hard against her chest.
She was damn anxious and didn’t know if he had seen anything.
“This is my house and I have the right to enter anywhere I wish without anyone’s permission.” Aiden replied cockily.
This kind of angered Tihana.
“You should also remember that you aren’t the only adult living in the house.”
“Nevertheless, I’m still the owner.” Aiden’s eyes roamed round Tihana’s body even if he was only seeing her back view.
“Get out.” Tihana gritted her teeth.
“I would leave but only after doing this.” Aiden walked closer to Tihana.
“What are you doing?” Tihana asked as she turned slowly to face him. She was ready to defend herself if he tried anything stupid.
He was standing so close that she could only move her eyeballs.
“Stay far from me.” Tihana glared. She was trying to act strong.
She would have pushed him away but was afraid her towel might let loose if she leaves it.
Aiden wouldn’t stop smirking as the lady in front of him shake. He loves it when ladies trebles under him.
“Get ready by 2:00pm, we’re going for a business meeting. The secretary would give you a file, work on it before then because we’ll need it.” Aiden said and stepped away from her like she has suddenly become a plague.
He turned back and left the room. Tihana released the breath she never knew was holding as she held unto her chest.

Trenton paced round his office with his phone in his hand. He was expecting a call and it was concerning the lady he bumped into at the mall which he guessed to be Tihana.
He hasn’t been at peace ever since. He was trying hard to convince himself that it was a coincidence, maybe another person but then, the name couldn’t just be any coincidence.
A knock came in and he went to sit down on his swivel chair. He guessed it to be one of his staffs, he doesn’t want to give any of them the impression that he was worried.
” Who is there?”
“It is the secretary sir.” The person answered at the door.
“Come in.”
The door opened and his secretary came in.
“Good morning sir. Here is the file you asked me to submit.”
“Drop it over there and leave.” The secretary dropped the file on the desk and left the office after bowing.
His phone rang and he grabbed it from the table in a haste. He has been expecting this call for a while now.
“Anything positive?” He asked immediately he accepted the call.
“Yes, there is boss.” A deep male voice said from the other side of the phone.
“What have you found out?” He asked impatiently.
“I would send you all the information I’ve gotten about her now.”
“Then do it quick.” Trenton was harsh with his words as he hung up.
He stared at his phone, waiting for the message and it beeped seconds later.
He opened the message immediately and he was right!
The message contained all the informations he needed to get his suspicions right.
He let out a light smile, thinking of what to do next, now that he has known her true identity.
_____
Both Aiden and Tihana came out of Mr Barnes’ office in joy.
The meeting was a great success as the couple were able to convince Mr Barnes to partner with their company.
It was mostly possible because of Tihana as she did most of the job while Aiden just sat and watched her.
Tihana was happy that she was able to prove herself worthy in Aiden’s presence and she hoped after this, Aiden would finally see she wasn’t useless after all.
She stared out the window as Wayne drove the car.
The same stomach ache that has been hitting on her abdomen since she woke up this morning repeated itself. She touched the spot and winced again.
She rested her head on the car seat and closed her eyes.
Aiden stared at her as she closed her eyes.
He had been scrolling on his phone before but immediately he saw a half naked lady’s picture, his mind drifted to the image of Tihana this morning.
He started imagining what her body would look like without that towel.
Aiden could feel his manhood twitch at the silly thoughts he was having.
He tried to clear all the thoughts away from his head by putting on his headphone to listen to music but it didn’t help instead the lyrics of the song he was listening to made it worse.
He removed his headphone and just then , Wayne stopped the car.
“We’re here.” Aiden was grateful as he was the first person to jump out of the car then followed by Tihana and Wayne.
The fresh air might be of help to ease off all the thoughts.
Wayne stayed behind while Aiden and Tihana went inside.
They were in another company for another business meeting again.
“Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Turner, my boss has been waiting for your arrival. I’ll inform him you’re here.” The lady at the desk said and stood up.
She came back a minute later and ushered them completely into the company.
“My boss is in a meeting right now but he asked me to bring you and your wife in.” The lady led them to the conference room and left.
All the eyes in the room turned to them immediately.
“Mr and Mrs Turner, it is a great honor to have you here amongst us.” A man stood up and shook hands with Aiden.
Tihana gave out a light smile as she waved at all of them in the room.
“Pardon my manners, please do have a seat.” Aiden went to sit first and Tihana followed suit.
“So Mr and Mrs Turner, before you came in, we were discussing about the building project at the outskirts.”
Aiden knew instantly what he meant but Tihana remained kind of confused and she didn’t care.
Aiden sighted Mr Norman at the opposite side, not far from where he sat but pretended like he never saw him.
He paid attention to what was being announced and added his suggestion to where it was needed.
The meeting ended as soon as possible and all of them dispersed from the room.
“Please, where can I find the restroom?” Tihana asked Aiden quietly, hoping he wouldn’t be grumpy.
She was really pressed since the meeting.
He turned to look at her as he scoffed.
“Go to your left.”
Tihana found her way to the restroom. She came out when she finished and washed her hands in the wash hand basin.
She stopped walking to pick up a wallet she saw on the floor. Looked like it fell from someone’s pocket just now because it wasn’t there when she passed there earlier.
She opened the wallet to see if she could find a hint on who owned it. She brought out one of the card in it and recognized it to be one of the men in the conference room. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
She took to her heels hoping to still find the man around.
She didn’t find him so she put the wallet in her purse and wished she see him again.
She went back to where Aiden was waiting but also didn’t find him around.
Where could he have gone to?
“He said he’ll be back soon.” The lady at the counter said after noticing Tihana was looking around.
“Oh” Tihana muttered and sat on of the chairs.
Blossom who was passing by stopped on seeing Tihana.
She scoffed as she folded her hands beneath her breast.
Tihana raised up her head and rolled her eyes after seeing Blossom.
“What are you doing here?” Blossom glared at her.
“Isn’t that too stupid of you to ask?” Tihana fired back. She stood up and now she was facing Blossom.
She didn’t want to do this but she hates being bullied and this was tagged as one.
“I can see you now have the guts to talk back at me.”
“And who the hell are you to think I won’t retaliate when you try to give me shits?”
“Don’t think you’ve won yet because I can see you’ve started seeing yourself as a winner but guess what darling, this is just the beginning. I don’t accept defeat so take this as a promise from me to you.” Blossom spatted out directly to her face and Tihana sighed.
Tihana doesn’t actually understand what Blossom was ranting about, she was as confused as hell.
“If I tell you that everything you just said right now sounds so strange to me, would you believe me?”
“Pretence doesn’t really fits you Tihana or whatever you call yourself.” Blossom scoffed.
“Ask from those who tried in the past to have him and they will tell you their encounter, yours won’t be exceptional instead it will be much more worse than theirs.” Blossom threatened sending little shivers down Tihana’s spine.
Somehow, Tihana knew this was getting serious than she thought.
Tihana felt a hand wrapped round her neck and from the scents, she knew instantly who it was.
