Blossom from her car, watch as a lady walks out of the restaurant with Aiden behind her and she didn’t need anyone to tell her that they had just finished their blind date.

Pained with jealous, Blossom motions on her driver to start driving.

The lady that had just walled out, she recognizes her as the same lady in the cloth shop with Diana.

She hadn’t really look at her back ten, but that doesn’t mean she won’t recognize her. Now, Blossom feels the need to believe that Diana is trying to get back to her for what she did to her during their college days.

She believes they haven’t meet in that shop unexpectedly, Diana knew she’s gonna be here and then, what next did she do?

Diana had went ahead to set up a date with Aiden with her friend.

Blossom is ready to risk it all now, How can she sit and watch the man she loves being taken away from her and she just sits and keep hoping for him to come around whileas he have no plan of being talking to her casually.

“Can you take me to Trenton’s apartment please?. ” She tells her driver who looks at her through the rear mirror before he nods.

She leans back on the car and close her eyes. Blossom, Trenton and Aiden grew up together and actually, when they were young , around 4_5 years, Blossom dated Aiden.

They have been family friends and so, all three grew up together. But right from when they were little, Aiden and Trenton hated each other and up till date, no one can tell the reason why.

Aiden had travelled out of the city fir the first time to visit his mother and after returning, he wasn’t the same.

His behaviour changed, it’s just like he started despising everyone around him. Everyone expect his family.

He became cold, arrogant and cared less about how others feels. Years had come and pass and it’s true Blossom should give up on him and just move on.

But how could she? He was her first love and he had dumped her without a reason. All these years, despite his behavior towards her, she had hoped for the better.

“One days, he’s gonna come back to me with an explanation of why he ignored me all these years.” These were the only words that she uses to calm herself down.

But it seems like the day is never coming. She need to do it in her own way. Aiden have become part of her, and all she wanted was for him to return that same love she has for him.

“That isn’t too big of a request right?.”

Blossom, so lost in thought didn’t notice the car stop and the driver walk to her side, opening the door for her.

“Ma’am, we’re here.”

Until then did Blossom cane back from her thoughts. She nods and pick up her phone and handbag and got down, then she starts making her way into Trenton’s apartment.

“You didn’t call to say you’re coming over. Is everything okay? You look sad.” Trenton says and handed her a glass of orange juice.

“Thank you.” She mutters to him but didn’t bother taking a sip.

There was silence until Trenton rub his palm together and look at her, he was sitting opposite her and had observe right from the moment she entered that she’s not okay.

“You sure you’re good? Yunno, you can talk to me and don’t tell me this is about Aiden?”

Hearing his name, Blossom looks up and slowly nods. Trenton huff and lean on the door grunting his teeth together.

“Being a jerk again?”

“Yeah… It’s just like he kept getting worst every single day. He doesn’t wanna see me and he doesn’t wanna talk to me no more. It’s just like I’m left alone.”

“Why not just give up? You’re worth more than that jerk’s love, you can find any type of man you want!”

How much he despise Aiden and even if he’s not around, hearing his name alone disgusts him.

“You don’t get it, do you? I tell you, I freaking love him.”

“Well, but it seems he’s not ready for that love!” Trenton didn’t hesitate to tell her the fact. She sighed and look away in anger, then she pick up the juice and take a sip before dropping it back on the table.

“I loved me. I dunno, maybe I did something wrong, he really loves me.”

Trenton chuckles and looks away before he continues. “it’s been 20 freaking years!.”

“I know! But he’s my first love. I have loved him since then and you knew that. How do you expect me to give up so easily!?”

“You were fucking 5 when he left! How could you remember everything and still won’t give up? Geez Blossom you surprise me.”

“I dunno what your problem is, Trent. But maybe you should try falling in love.”

Trenton groan and looks away from her and there was another silence.

“Aiden is making plans to get married.” Blossom says slowly.

“He is a fucking psychopath! You need to see the audacity in his telling me such dirty thing. Who does he think he is?” Tihana is sitting with Diana in there usual restaurant and chatting about the date while eating their barbecue.

“His offer is weird. But the money is mouthwatering. I don’t think I can ever earn that even in a year.”

Tihana eyed her and she chuckles. “Slowly? So why don’t you just go ahead and accept the offer if you think the money is much?”

“I can’t. You’re the one in need of money not me.”

There was silence as Tihana poured herself a drink and take a sip from the glass before dropping the glass on the table.

“I make money decently, moreover who makes such offer and how does she expect a mother to leave her child?.”

“Well, He just wants a baby. It’s only a year with no feelings attached. Nothing much.”

Now Tihana is getting pissed off and she couldn’t help but wonder if this is also one of Diana’s plans?

Maybe she’s getting feed up by the fact that she’s spending alot on her and now, she set her up on this date with the huge money involved just so she can get rid of her.

Just as if Diana was reading her mind, she drops her eating stick and watch Tihana’s expression closely.

“If you’re thinking I know about this then stop. There’s no way I can set you up in a date you don’t wanna go. It’s okay if you want to reject the offer, it’s yours decision. But whatever step you decide to take, I’ll always support you.”

Tihana rolls her eyes. “why are you sounding like you wanted me to accept his offer? Geez Diana you’re unbelievable. I’m heading home now ”

She stood up and grab her handbag along with her phone and starts walking out. Diana had called out for her, but she just ignored her and make her way out of the restaurant.

Diana sighed. Maybe now she’s going to lose the only one friend she has.

Diana didn’t know if any of her words had made Tihana angry or she’s just pissed because the date is with Aiden Turner.

When Tihana came back, Diana had expected her to go wild because the man involved is her Boss! But it seems like that was not the important part.

She’s only mad about the offer he made, Tihana had said that the offer isn’t only an insult to her, but an insult to all female genders.

Most ladies , when Aiden gives them the contract will jump and get excited, even if it’s a fake marriage, imagine spending time with the popular CEO?

Pretending to be his real wife has a lot of benefits, and making a baby with him too!? Isn’t that something to be excited about?

Diana picked up her phone and dial her father’s phone number, second ring and he picks up , his voice sounding exciting.

“Sweetheart. Tell me how the date went? You two like each other right.?”

“No father, I rejected him.”

“Why!? Why did you do that ? I thought you promised to give it a try?.”

“Father! He’s talking about marriage and moreover. I kind of lied to you about my status. But I have a boyfriend.”

There was silence and both can hear each other’s breath. Diana bites his lower lips with the phone still place on her left ear.

She’s lying to her father and she hates it. But this is the only way to end this in good terms.

It’s okay that Tihana rejected Aiden, by with the way she narrated what happened? Diana knew that Tihana had spoken rudely to Aiden.

Aiden isn’t the type that accepts rejection. So she’s kind of worried Abit if he’s going to give up or not.

Whatever it is, she feels to need to let her father know that she’s not interested in him.

These is the two girls little secret. At no cost shall Aiden find out that he had the date with the wrong girl.

“What are you saying? You clearly told me you don’t?.”

“Well, that’s because I didn’t know what your reaction will be. Beside I wanted you to help my friend. Sorry I lied to you Father. ”

But she hadn’t lied before, actually .. she’s just lying right now.

“I trust you. It’s okay, I’ll reach out to Aiden’s grandfather and talk to him that you’re not interested.”

“No!” Diana snap and bite her lower lips and then slowly mutters.

“You don’t have to do that. Aiden would have tell him how his date went. There’s no need for that.”

“Alright. I’m in the office right now, I’ll talk to you later. Have a nice evening.”

The call got disconnected and Diana sighed. She stood up and pick up her bag then walk over to the counter to pay the bill of what they had ordered.

“How much is it?”

“$35. 90”

Diana handed her over her card and went ahead to input her code. Getting her card back, Diana walks out of the restaurant, she hadn’t come here with her car so she have to wait for a cab.

Same thing, she have to reflect on how she’s going to hire herself a boyfriend.
