The Odd Billionaire

CHAPTER 32

Traizle

Every rule, I will say, he has his own rules too. I don’t know if he will really follow our rules.

“Traizle.” Zarsuelo called.

“What?” I asked back.

“If ever I am choking you to death, tell me okay? I will definitely stop myself from choking you.” Zarsuelo said seriously.

Good then he knows his limitations.

Nodding at him in agreement, I kept my phone in my pocket.

“Let’s go.” I told him.

“To where?” Zarsuelo asked back.

“I have to go back to the Snack Bar and give back the bike I rented.” I replied as I stood up from my seat.Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

“Bike? What is the purpose of renting a bike?” He asked confused, but not concerned about getting the left buns.

“I am renting a bike to deliver the orders.” I answered as we started to head out of the cafe.

“You are using a bike to deliver the orders?” He repeated. “That is why I thought you lost some weight. Where’s your old motorcycle?” He asked again.

“At the junk shop. Lyndon told me to throw it away or else he would chop it into pieces himself, so I wouldn’t use it anymore.” I explained.

Zarsuelo nodded his head as if I said something agreeable.

“He is right, that old motorcycle of yours is too dangerous. It led you to an accident and caused you to have a hip injury before,” he responded. “But biking is too tiring. What if the place you have to go is far? You will be too exhausted.” he added.

“It is much better than walking.” I answered back.

I have no choice but to rent one, or else I won’t be able to deliver their orders at the right time if I commute.

“You don’t have to rent one again, you will work with me now.” Zarsuelo replied.

“I think I will still work there for a few hours after my work.” I responded, bursting his bubble.

“Why? Aren’t you overworking yourself? That’s dangerous for your health.” Zarsuelo complained, almost scolding me.

“The owner needs some employees since her Snack Bar is starting to have more customers than before,” I answered. “And also, I don’t want her to feel that I am just working there when I feel like I want to.” I added.

I have cut my work twice already. The first one is when Arias ordered and the second one is this day. I don’t want the owner to feel that I will only work there if I need to or if I don’t have work again.

“Just make sure you won’t overwork yourself,” he reminded me. “Now that you know I like you, I can tell you what I feel-although I have to minimize it when there’s someone who can hear me.” he answered, showing me his proud smile.

That’s one of his rules. When I told him to not say something I didn’t want to hear, he said that he would limit himself and would say something if there were no people around to hear him.

When we reached the Snack Bar, I immediately talked to the owner and told her I was going back to the Grand Finance and that I would still work at her Snack Bar after work.

I am glad that the owner just smiled happily and even teased us. While I am denying her claim, there’s Zarsuelo who is agreeing nonstop.

“Let’s go back to the Grand Finance.” I told Zarsuelo, who was looking at the bikes.

Zarsuelo came with me while I was giving back the bike.

“Why are we going there?” Zarsuelo asked, still looking at the bikes. “Why is he letting you guys rent his bikes when they are not new?” He asked.

Perks of being a rich type of human.

“Poor people like me can’t buy new ones, so they are here to let us rent and use them for a while. It’s okay as long as the bike is still working properly.” I explained.

“Don’t worry, I will buy you a bike.” he replied.

“No, I am fine with this.” I answered back.

“I am not fine with this, it is like you are using an old motorcycle too. You might get into an accident again.” he responded.

“Just buy me one when I get into an accident again.” I told him.

“Hey! Don’t say that,” Zarsuelo complained. “Let’s go back to the Grand Finance.” he added.

I didn’t know that I would go back to this place again.

Grand Finance.

A really well-known finance company with an oddball owner.

“It’s been a while, Traizle,” Tyler greeted when he saw me before entering the entrance. “Good morning, Sir.” he added, greeting Zarsuelo.

“It’s been three days.” I answered back.

“Welcome back.” he replied, and I gave him a nod.

“I followed your rules already.” Zarsuelo commented who is now talking behind me.

“I know.” I answered.

Why did he need to say it?

“Walk in front of me, you are supposed to be in the first. Don’t walk behind me.” I told him.

“I want to see your back-not your butt! I am not looking at it, I just want to see you walking in front of me.” he explained.

I hope it’s really a welcome back, not a hellcome back. I also hope that he is really looking at my back or else I will pick his eyes out.
