THE NANNY AFFAIR

Andre’s Khan POV

The whole room went silent the second Elena blabbed out the truth without thinking, Riya nudged me away and ran out of the house, yet again everyone stared and didn’t do anything to prevent her from leaving, so I ran out to meet her.

“Andre’s”

Sophia called out to me but I gave daft ears to her, trying to meet up with a wounded Riya, who kept running.

(Running continues)

We kept running through the streets, I constantly kept calling out to her but she refused to stop, luckily I ran up and held her back from embarking on a marathon race.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” I said trying to catch my breath, the anger and rage she felt boils up, and with that vented her whole anger and me.

Quietly I listened to her speak and physically assault me, I know that doing such will calm her for a while and it did, she nudged for the last time and fell on me, tearing up.

It pains me to see her in such a manner, I did feel the same way she did, being betrayed by the people we love, somehow I tried avoiding her to know the truth but somehow she did, and out of the blue, (suspicious glare).

(Continues crying)

Her head was placed on my chest, hands on my back, and kept on crying her eyes out.

“Look, Riya, you shouldn’t be crying, and trust me I do understand the way you feel but tell me how the hell did you find out the truth,”  I said.

(Riya bottles down her emotions and lets out the whole truth to me and like a wolf targeting his pry, I took down everything, she told me and now Sophia has a lot of explaining to do).

(Hours have gone by after the incident)

I returned home with Riya and took notice of Sophia seated in the living room sipping a cup of coffee.

She veers donning a smile, “oh hello Andres, you’re back with the illegitimate child”.

Her words got me upset but before I could retaliate, Riya did, she rushed out to her and forgot her hand on Sophia’s face.

The sound of the slap hurled everyone from their room, “what the hell is going on here?” Elena rants and raves her way to us, fiddling to hear a response from either of us.

“Ma’am!! Can you believe that this thing, slapped me, how dare you!”. (Attempts to retaliate by slapping Riya back, rather got another slap on her left cheek.

I haven’t seen Riya this mad and aggravated before, it like each of the slaps giving to Sophia was the left pains inside of her.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

(She walks away after getting her deeds done,  after a while I did too and so was the rest of the family, remaining Elena and Sophia in the living room).

(Our doors shuts close before they continued talking)

“Good night dear”.

Elena had not many words to say but decides to go back to her room and get a goodnight sleep, (walks but halted when Sophia held her from leaving)

Sophia says, “did you expect there after going through all of this, you just opted out and leave!! No way in hell ma’am”.

Elena smiles and repaired her attention over to her, nurturing the same look.

“Really? What the hell have you done that makes you so special? And just because Riya slapped, doesn’t mean anything, that least now I know how dangerous a wounded person can be”.
