(She shoots a frantic glare at me as we both stared at each other)

Elena walks out of her room and met us in a tensed-up manner, “what’s going on?” She attained our attention, At the same time, Riya walks in and noted the same thing fiddling to hear our response.

“Nothing Elena, it’s nothing!”. I veered and walks past without altering any more words as they all look at me.

Elena knew that I wouldn’t have told anything if she requested for it, so when she repaid her eyes to methane, she had already left, Smurding a suspicious glare on her face.

Two hours went by, I strolled out of the house in hopes to clear my thoughts, I drove to the playground and saw Riya seated there alone, she gets up immediately the second my presence was felt, ambling away.

“Hold on Riya!” I said as she halts regaining her attention to me, “what is it?” She asked fiddling for my response, I walked closer to her and said, “how are you? Are you okay?” I said.

“Don’t I look okay to you?” She answered back with another, attempting to repeat the same thing when suddenly a gun ran past her and hits the head of a statue.

“What’s going on?” I loomed my eyes round and caught a man, who runs away the junction our eyes met, so without hesitation, I ran after him, leaving Riya behind.

“Hold on” I yelled out, but he kept daft ears to my words, luckily he hits his leg on a boulder and tripped.

I nailed him to the ground, and held his against his will, “who sent you creep? Tell me” I waited to hear his response, thus didn’t know someone sneaked behind and knocked me unconscious.

(Inaudible conversation)

(A few minutes later)

I woke up just to find myself home, who brought me home? I asked myself my question got answered, when Riya walks into my room, holding a first aid kit in her hand, “are you okay?” She placed the kit beside me, paying her attention to me.

“Where you the one that brought me home?” I answered back with another question, she shoots a warm smile, after confirming the truth to me, “yes! It was me, but tell me what happened? I found you lying unconscious on the floor! Did anything happen?”.

Truthfully I had no idea what happened exactly, but all I can remember was, I had man tried to hurt Riya and I was knocked out unconscious, trying to get the truth, is Elena behind this? Or is Riya’s life in danger, because of me?.
