Harlan’s face was as pale as a sheet as he helplessly gazed at Jared. The power of the Divine Flame Seal was too overwhelming for Harlan to bear.

Upon witnessing this scene, Harlan realized that his ship had sailed. No one was willing to follow him anymore like rats leaving a sinking ship. No one would obey him anymore since he had nothing and was a nobody.

“Fine!” Harlan leaped into the air, departing from the Violet Flame Sect.

He was worried that if he stayed any longer, Gael might change his mind and deal with him, which would spell trouble.

After Harlan left, Jared turned to Gael and said, “Mr. Ortiz, this Divine Flame Seal is a valuable treasure of the Violet Flame Sect. I’ll return it to you once I refine the fire fusion technique with this seal.”

The Divine Flame Seal belonged to the Violet Flame Sect. If Jared took it away, the future growth of the Violet Flame Sect would surely be hindered.
