Chapter 31 Ramos Thinking
“You did really well.” Alfredo said.
“Do you think he would bite? He might think it’s a trap and not show up there.” Raven said.
“Ramos may be ruthless, but he isn’t that smart. Yeah he might think it’s a trap, but he’s going to send men to check it out and when he finds out that the place has drugs as you have said, he might begin to believe your words.” Alfredo said.
“So what do we do now?’ Raven asked, staring into Alfredo’s eyes.

“But some of your men are going to die and you’re going to run at a loss because he is going to take some of your drugs in one of your warehouse.” Raven said.
“Well, there are times when for you to reach a goal, there are few sacrifices one needs to make along the way. I guess this is one of them. If we want to save your father, this is one of the sacrifice we need to make to achieve that.” He said.
“Why are you doing this for me?” Raven asked.
“I’m doing this for you and for your father, because part of me feels if I had convinced him not to go ahead and loan some money from Ramos, probably you might not be in this situation. So I’m responsible for how things are going to turn out in the end.”
“Why don’t you just tell her that you like her and stop beating around the bush Alfredo.” Alfonso said.
“Where have you been Alfonso? I looked for you this morning so that we can discuss this together but I couldn’t find you in your room.” Alfredo said.
“I had something to take care of and so I had to leave early to handle it.” He explained. He turned to face Raven. “Good morning Raven. I had a nice chat with you last night.”
Alfredo looked confused turned and looked at her. “You had a conversation with Alfonso late last night?”
“Yeah, he came to my room and said he wanted to talk to me.” She admits.
“We discussed about my own plan. About me killing her and sending her remains to Ramos to threaten him never to mess with the Sanchez brothers.” Alfonso said.
“You went over to her room and told her that? What the hell were you thinking Alfonso?” Alfredo asked, his tone laced with anger.
“I didn’t think. I just acted and said what I had to say after all I thought she was one gold digging bitch who was willing to marry Ramos for his money even when she knows the type of person he is.
But I was wrong alright? She explained everything to me last night and told me the reason she agreed to that asshole’s demands was to save her father.” Alfonso explained.
“I appreciate your honesty Alfonso.” Alfredo said, though his tone was still serious.
“But I have to be clear that what you did was dangerous and reckless. I’m happy to hear that you realize you made a mistake, and I appreciate you owning up to it which is rare. Because you normally don’t, so that’s progress right?” Alfredo said.
“But don’t ever think such a crazy reckless plan again. If you put Raven’s life at risk, I won’t tolerate it.”
“What are you gonna do Amigos, Kill me? Because of your chick?” Alfonso asked.
“Let’s not go there Alfonso.” Alfredo said, The two facing each other as if they wanted to fight over Raven.
“Enough guys! I don’t think this is the time to start arguing over issues of the past okay. I’ve forgiven him and have moved on from it. What we should be focused on right now is getting my father out of the hands of Ramos.” Raven said.
“You’re right. Let me inform the guys to be prepared for Ramos men.” Alfredo said as he brought his phone to make a call.
Ramos on the other hand had sent his men to the location Raven had given and were in position waiting to see if it was a trap, when they realized that everything was normal and no sign of any suspicious activity and movement. Ramos sat down thinking. Could this be their plan? To get me to trust Raven and then she stabs me in the back as revenge for kidnapping her father and forcing her to marry me?
He knew that Raven was a tough bitch who won’t bite until it’s involves her father. What could they be planning and what’s Raven’s part in all this? Well there is only one way to find out…
He picked his phone and sent message ordering them to move in and kill every man standing in the warehouse and take every drugs or valuable items that belong to the Sanchez family.
As Ramos sent the message, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. Something about this plan didn’t sit right with him.
Was he being too hasty? Was he falling into a trap? He tried to push those thoughts aside, but they kept nagging at him. He knew that he had to be careful, but he also knew that he couldn’t back down now. He had to see this through, no matter what.
