Chapter 67 Gunshots
“Because, Ramos might try to escape and if we don’t know his escape route, he might get away and all these would be for nothing.”
“Yes, you’re right brother.” Alfonso said.
“We need to find out how many men would be on patrol in the night so that we can know exactly what to do when we barge into his mansion to create a distraction.
“Come on, Alfredo. Don’t you trust your brother? Don’t you believe that I have thought about this a lot of times.
I know someone inside the mansion and he has provided information on how many men are going to be on patrol tonight and so when we get our chance. We execute our plan.” Alfonso.
Alfredo nodded.
“So let’s do this shall we?” Alfonso said.
They entered their vehicles ready to attack Ramos mansion and rescue Raven and her father.
As they pulled up close to the gate of the mansion, they could see a guard stationed at the entrance. “What do we do now?” Alfredo asked, his voice tense with nerves.
“We just need to follow the plan.”
Alfonso gave a signal and so a car on how speed, rushed at the gate and hit it creating the distraction they needed to enter the mansion.

Alfonso seize the moment to jump out of his car and run towards the gate. Alfredo followed suit his mind racing with what to do next.
They had to act quickly if they were going to save Rave and her father.
And he had a lot of questions he wanted to ask her, but he wanted to rescue her first and know that she is alright.
As they reached the gate, they saw that it had been damaged by the collision and the two people who were appointed to create the distractions were doing a perfect job.
They saw that the damage of the gate had left a large gap in the fence.
So they both ducked under the metal bar and ran into the grounds of the mansion with some of their men.
The mansion was large and imposing, with a well designed lawn and annoying gates.
The two brother along with some men made their way towards the front door, their heart beating.
They needed to make this work if they wanted to save Raven and end Ramos Escobar’s reign once and for all.
As they reached the front door, they saw two guards standing on either side. The brother slowed their pace, not wanting to alarm the guards but before they could get any closer, one of the guards saw them and spoke.
“You over there, halt!” he said, a commanding voice.
They got up and raised their hands up as if surrendering.
“What are you doing here? You are not meant to be in this premises so go back before things get ugly.” He warned.
“We don’t want trouble, mister, you see our vehicle just had an accident and so this was the closest place to stay until the police and ambulance arrives.” Alfonso said, acting while getting closer and closer to the guards.
But before the guards could say anything, Alfonso, pulled out a gun and shot the two guards in the head.
“Now, let’s go in.” He said, as he and Alfredo along with the other men rushed in and fight ensued.
The sound of gun shots, and shouts were heard inside the mansion.
Alfredo signaled to Alfonso.
“Go and find her.” Alfonso said. “We will take it from here.”
Alfredo nodded and ran a different direction.
He could hear the sound of fighting behind him, but he didn’t dare look back. He was focused on finding Raven and getting her out of there.
He searched all the rooms, but there was no sign of Raven. He wondered where could Ramos have kept her and her Uncle?
He decided to check the basement, but as he got to the basement, he saw some men protecting the entrance and then he knew that Ramos and Raven would be there.
He called his brother on the phone to inform him that he has seen Ramos.
“Alfonso, Ramos is in the basement and I think that’s where he kept Raven as well.” Alfredo said.
“Hang in tight. We’re coming.” Alfonso said and ended the call.
Alfredo waited anxiously for his brother to arrive, praying that they would get there in time.
He tried to keep his composure, but it was difficult to stay calm when he knew that Raven’s life was in danger.
He paced back and forth, glancing at the guards every few minutes.
Finally, he heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs.
Alfredo held his breath as he waited for the door to open. When it did, he saw Alfonso and his men, armed and ready for battle.
“Let’s go get Raven,” Alfonso said.
