The Mafia’s Third Wife: Between The Devil’s Triangle

Don Rizzo’s

Chapter 78: Don Rizzo’s

The next day, Ramos entered his vehicle with his men and headed to see one of his political allies named Don Rizzo. Don Rizzo was one of the most powerful men in the city, and he had a lot of influence in the world of politics. Ramos knew that if he wanted to get anything done, he needed to have Don Rizzo on his side.

But after what happened the previous night, Ramos needed to beg him to forgive him and ask him to help him because he knew that Don Rizzo wasn’t someone he should toy with.

As they pulled up to Don Rizzo’s mansion, Ramos could feel his heart pounding in his chest.

Ramos could feel beads of sweet forming on his brow as he approached the imposing iron gates that guarded the entrance to Don Rizzo’s estate. He was met by two of Don Rizzo’s bodyguards, who eyes him with suspicion.

What do you want?” one of the bodyguards asked in a gruff voice.

“I need to speak to Don Rizzo.” Ramos replied, trying to keep his voice steady.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

“It’s a matter of great importance.”

The bodyguards exchanged a glance, then nodded, and opened the gates.

Ramos stepped through the gates, feeling like he was walking into a lion’s den. He followed the bodyguards up a long, winding driveway, lined with tall, imposing trees.

At the end of the driveway was a grand, palatial mansion, complete with balconies, marble columns, and wrought-iron gates.

The bodyguards ushered Ramos inside, and he found himself in a grand foyer, with a sweeping staircase and a crystal chandelier.

The bodyguards led him to a study, where Don Rizzo was seated behind a massive, mahogany desk.

Don Rizzo was an imposing figure, with his salt-and-pepper hair and dark, piercing eyes.

He was dressed in an impeccable suit, with a silk tie and gleaming cufflinks. He looked Ramos up and down, sizing him up.

“What do you want?” he asked, his voice low and threatening.

Ramos swallowed hard, trying to keep his composure. “I… I need your help,” he stammered.

“I made a mistake, and I need your forgiveness. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make things right.”

“Forgive you? After what you’ve done! You must think I’m stupid huh, Ramos. You had my secret in your hands so that you could use it later to control me and you expect me to help you get out of a mess you are in after you have put my political career in a mess huh.” Don Rizzo said.

Don Rizzo’s words hit Ramos like a punch to the gut. He knew he had messed up, and he was desperate for a way out.

But hearing Don Rizzo’s anger and contempt, he realized that he might have ruined any chance he had of ever regaining Don Rizzo’s trust.

“I know I made a terrible mistake,” Ramos said, trying to sound apologetic. “But I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. I’ll never betray you again.

Don Rizzo’s face remained expressionless, giving no clue as to what he was thinking. After a long, tense moment, he finally spoke.

“You have a lot of nerve, asking for my forgiveness after what you’ve done,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “But I’ll make you a deal.”

Ramos’s heart leaped into his throat. “A deal?” he asked, his voice quivering with hope.

“I’ll forgive you,” Don Rizzo said, “but only on one condition. You’ll have to give me something in return. Something that’s very valuable to you. Something that you’ll be sorry to lose.”

Ramos felt like the ground had dropped out from under him. He wasn’t sure what Don Rizzo was asking for, but he knew it would be something he wouldn’t want to give up.

“I’m willing to do whatever it takes,” he said, his voice shaking. “What do you want?”

Don Rizzo leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers and staring at Ramos with an unnerving gaze. “I want you to give me your daughter,” he said, his words like a knife in the dark. “She’ll stay here with me, as my ward. She’ll be well cared for, but she’ll be mine.”

Ramos felt a chill run down his spine. He hadn’t expected this. He loved his daughter, and the thought of giving her up was almost too much to bear. But he also knew that he had no choice.

“You think I didn’t know you had a daughter from your first wife huh? I know a lot of things about you Ramos. More than you know.” Don Rizzo said, sitting on his chair.

“How… how did you find out?” Ramos stammered. He had always been so careful to keep his personal life separate from his work, but it seemed that Don Rizzo had found out anyway. How had he done it? And what other information did he have?

“I have my sources,” Don Rizzo said, his voice cryptic. “But that’s not important right now. What’s important is that you agree to my terms. Give me your daughter, and I’ll forgive you for what you’ve done.”

Ramos was torn.

“Please, Don Rizzo anything else but my daughter. She’s everything to me.” Ramos said.

“Oh really! That’s why I want her and if you can’t give her to me, then let’s end this our meaningless conversation.” Don Rizzo said.

“No! Please, I can’t leave now. If you stop supporting me, I don’t know how to get out of this.” Ramos said.

“Do you know how much I spent, trying to keep the media quiet after those good for nothing people you offended exposed my relationship with Lolita.” Don Rizzo said.

Lolita. It was the first time he had mentioned her name, and it sent a jolt of panic through Ramos.

How much did Don Rizzo know about his past? How much did he know about Lolita, and how he had ruined her life? He was terrified of what Don Rizzo might do if he found out the truth.

“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice trembling. “I never meant to cause any trouble. I just… I just want to make things right.”

Don Rizzo regarded him coolly, his eyes hard.

“Now those succumb decided to expose my affair with her to the world that I was having unconsenual sex with an underage when she perfectly liked it and came back for more.

I mean, all this young girls are eager to have everything they want. A nice phone, car and nice apartment so that they could flunt it to their friends.

I knew what she wanted and she knew what I wanted. And so we came to an agreement. So I don’t see how that is an unconsenual sexual relationship.” Don Rizzo said.

“Now, they have exposed my deep secret to the world to destroy my political campaign and it’s all your fault Ramos.”

“I’m sorry, Don Rizzo. Please forgive my incompetence to give everything away from prying eyes.” Ramos said.

“I told you to take care of the issue and make sure no one and I meant no one should find out about it, but you didn’t make sure no one found out because that bitch did and now she used it to almost destroy my political career. I mean look at this.” Rizzo said as he showed Ramos his phone and the news the press are talking about.

“Do you know how many of my enemies in the political field are having a great day because they had been waiting for an opportunity like this to expose me to the world so that they can win the upcoming elections.” Rizzo said.

Ramos took the phone from Rizzo’s hand, his eyes scanning the news articles. He felt sick to his stomach as he read the details of the accusations, and he couldn’t help but feel responsible.

After all, he had been the one who had introduced Lolita to Rizzo in the first place. But he had never thought that things would turn out like this.

“I’m so sorry,” he said again, feeling helpless and ashamed. “I never meant for any of this to happen.”

Rizzo glared at him, his eyes filled with cold fury.

“I don’t care how you do it, Ramos. I want you to fix the problem and fix it as soon as possible. Do you hear me?” Don Rizzo said.

“I told you to kill the bitch who was threatening to expose our affair. Did you kill that bitch Lolita?”

“Yes, Don Rizzo. I killed her and dumped her body in a lake where no one would ever find her.” Ramos said.

“So fix this as well and end that bitch who is trying to destroy my reputation and do it as fast as possible.

What’s the bitch’s name anyway? At least I need to know her name before she dies in my hands.” Don Rizzo asked.

“Her name is Raven, sir.” Ramos said.

“Hmmm…. Raven you say. Why don’t you get her for me?” Don Rizzo said.
