Ch 17 First Meeting

Aaron's Pov

I was sitting in the office of Blood moon pack having an important discussion

"So do I have your consent on this proposal?"

"Yes Alpha

This proposal is just perfect!!

Thank you so much for coming on such a short notice and resolving the matter!!"

Blood moon pack's Alpha replied

"But don't you think that this proposal is a bit biased,No offence but I mean the she wolves will not get

to train if this law is passed,they will not be able to defend themselves if god forbid a deadly situation

arises?"

One of the members seated in the meeting room spoke up

Alpha of Blood moon pack was sending him daggers for rebuking and questioning my decision

"I am sorr......"

I showed my hand to the Blood moon's packs Alpha and stopped him

My gaze was fixed on the person who questioned me

"You put a good point forward but I am afraid that for their own safety we need to keep them away from

training grounds,If attack happens they will cause more damage by distracting their mates so it's better

to keep them on safe grounds always

Also their mate will always be there to protect them so they don't need to learn to protect themselves"

I said this but a thought came to my mind

How can I expect them to always protect their mates if I couldn't

Was I making the right decision?

My thoughts were cut short when a sudden pain.passed through my chest

But it went as fast as it came.

What was it?

The only reason could be Aleka crossing the border but that was not possible because she was locked

in the dungeons

She couldn't escape could she??

I mindlinked my guards at her security but what they told me made my blood boil

Next I ordered my patrol wolves to check her near all the borders

But I knew finding her was very difficult now

I was getting furious with every passing seconds

I slammed by fist on the table causing a crack to appear in the teakwood

Dammit!!

How could she escape!!

How could a goddamn human escape from a pack of so many wolves without anyone noticing her

I left the room and changed into my wolf form running towards my pack

I could hear Dan calling me but the only thing I needed right now was her

I let her go once but not now

I will find her no matter what

On reaching my pack all my petrol wolves were scattered trying to find her

I searched for her like a mad man

I crossed the border

Searched all adjoining packs

Called all the nearby Alphas

But still no trace of her

Just like all these years I was never able to find her

Minutes turned into hours and day turned into night

My wolf was exhausted but my determination wasn't

I couldn't care about anything else right now

I continued to search unless my legs gave away

Drained

I fell on the ground and looked up at the sky

Full moon was visible under the veil of dark clouds which have started to form

"We can't bring her back,she will only come back when she wishes to"

My wolf said something after very long,we usually don't talk because he is very reserved

after losing his mother and mate he distanced himself from everything even me.

He is never able to feel Aleka's wolf and that's how we knew that she was a human for the first time.

Flashback

Today I turned 20 and everyone was so excited about it

I was also excited not because I will find my mate but because after just 1 more year I will be the king

I always wanted to take my fathers position

I adored his ways of managing affairs and I just wanted to be like him

Giving justice and staying in power were my only goals

Finding my mate along was not a part of my plan

But I knew that time will come when I will need her

Not for myself but for my kingdom and my lineage.

I never expected anything for my mate because I never thought about her

Well now that I am giving her a thought I need her to be understanding,caring and loyal

Outlook wise, any average girl would do because in my eyes beautiful soul equals beautiful face.

I know I am different from other males ,they are crazy about finding their mates ,going on dates with

them and finally marrying them.

With great power comes great responsibility and with this burden of responsibility comes maturity

And I am you can say a mature person now

I entered my school halls

People cleared their way for me and some wished me happy birthday and bowed their heads

I nodded in response to some of them

I was collecting my books from my locker when I saw a girl standing near me with nervous look on her

face

She hugged her books and was shifting her weight from one leg to the other looking uncomfortable

"Yes??"

I asked her and her eyes which were looking at her shoes earlier met mine

They looked shocked on seeing me but I felt nothing

She opened her mouth to say something but it looked like she was too nervous to form a sentence

While she was trying to form words I took her appearance.

Black eyes,long black hair tied in a messy bun,loose sky blue t shirt which was a size bigger,black

jeans and white sneakers

She was too simple for her age,I mean didn't girls love to dress up ,do make up,make hairstyles and try

to look beautiful.

On top of that her eyes looked tired from lack of sleep,they had dark bags under them and she was a

bit too thin

I had seen her somewhere but I couldn't remember where,there are over 1000 members in our pack so

forgetting one face was normal.
