Ashleigh’s POV

“Okay class, who wants to present their report first today?” Professor Herne asked.

“Us professor!” Calux and I said at the same time while both raised our right hands.

Calux and I both smiled.

We prefer to go first so that we can finish immediately and it looks like Professor Herne is happy to see that both Calux and I get along.

“All right … You can start your presentation. Mr. Calux and Ms. Ashleigh.” smiling Professor Herne said and sat down in his chair.

I sighed first before taking the visual aids that Calux and I would use.

“Calm yourself before you go to the front.” teasingly Calux said.

Even though he was annoyed, he had a point so even though I was annoyed, I just smiled.

Then I walked to the front.

“Ready?” Calux whispered.

“Yep, I’m ready.” I answered and then nodded.

Calux smiled before we started.

“We are the 1st pair and our topic is about Cosmo Destructive Spells.”

We have already started presenting our report while everyone is listening and seems interested to know what Destructive Spell does. Almost everyone just focused their attention on us and so did Professor Herne who could not believe that we were able to present a report without any conflict.

“Good job Mr. Calux and Ms. Ashleigh … you both got a perfect score for a splendid presentation. H-How did you two manage to get along and finish and present a wonderful report like that?” the professor asked as his eyes widened and he couldn’t seem to believe it.

“Well … let’s just say. We both agree when it comes to grades and we both have the same goals.” said Calux while smirking.

“Your presentation was very good. I can say that you two seem to be getting along.” smiling Professor Herne said.

Calux and I stared at each other and immediately averted our eyes.

“You are the wrong professor. It’s just for the grade so we worked together but if you say we can get along? Haha, that will never happen professor.” I said.

“In his dream! We will never get along!” he said.

“Really! Why would anyone want to reconcile with an arrogant person like you?” I said sarcastically.

“And who wants to get along with a stupid idiot like you?” he also said sarcastically.

“What did you say?!”

“Okay, that’s enough you two. Now you can take your seats now.” said Professor Herne

I got snapped at what Calux said that I almost punch him but thank god that Professor Herne stopped us. Otherwise, I would have really punched him.

“Okay, who is the next group that would like to present?” Professor asked and the next reporter immediately followed.

We both ignored each other as we sat in our chairs.

“Stupid!”

“Arrogant!”

We spoke at the same time and immediately avoided looking at each other.

Until the end of the class, I just kept quiet and ignored the arrogant Calux. I was leaving Professor Herne’s class when I noticed that Calux was reading something. He just silently stared at the paper while looking down. I approached him and sat down at his desk.

“What’s the matter Calux the great? I used to be happy to tease and now you’re quiet? What’s the matter?” I will ask.

He was still silent as he focused his attention on the paper.

And that’s when I recognized the paper he was holding.

‘From Prince Demian’

“He’s back …” Calux whispered while holding on tightly to the almost crumpled paper.

“What?” I asked him but he didn’t seem to hear me.

“He’s back …” he whispered until the paper he threw in the trash was completely crumpled.

‘What’s the matter with him and he seems to be going crazy?’

“What the heck is wrong with you?” I asked him while staring at him.

“Nothing. I have to go.” he said emphatically and then he finally left the room.

‘What’s wrong with him?’

I went out too. I noticed he was just bent over while walking. Suddenly someone approached her man who was almost as tall as her and then put her on his shoulder. Calux’s energy suddenly returned when the man approached him.

I stopped walking when someone pulled me.

“Woi where are you going? You’ve been walking straight for a while, our next class isn’t there.”

I turned to the speaker.

“It’s you … Elgin.” I said and sighed in relief.

“Come on. We might be late.” said Elgin.

“O-Okay …” I stammered and followed him.

Well … Elgin and I are in the same class as Professor Kingsley in the Ice and Moon Magic Class.

“Ohh the newbie is here.”

Ahh, I almost forgot … Princess Diasspro is also my classmate in this class.

“Diasspro, be easy on the lamb.” smirking her friend Princess Madison said.

I just stared at them without emotion and continued to enter the room.

Elgin and I will sit next to each other so I will not be out of place here in class. Not like the class Calux and I had earlier. I have a headache because of that Prince Calux teasing.

When Professor Kingsley arrived, he immediately started discussing.

After class, I went straight to our dorm. I was arranging things when suddenly someone opened my door.

“Ash! Hurry up there! We need to buy dresses for the celebration to be held at Prince Demian’s palace!” Shreya said hurriedly.

“Where is Stheno?” I asked.

“In the lobby! Now hurry up and our friends are waiting for us!” Shreya said and suddenly closed the door of my room.

I hurriedly arranged my belongings and left our dorm as well. down in the lobby, I immediately noticed that almost all the other Magica Academy students were in a hurry as well.

“Let’s hurry because we might run out of things to buy for the celebration!” said Stheno.

“My older brother and I are going to separate and we might run out of tuxedos to buy.” said Elgin

Elgin and Cadmus were about to leave when Ember suddenly spoke.

“We have formal dresses or attires hidden on the 2nd floor of our shop. Don’t go away there, we will go straight to our shop.”

“All right!” Cadmus and Elgin said at the same time.

“Good now let’s get going.” said Lizzy.

We left Magica Academy while there were not many students coming out of the academy.

When we arrived at Lizzy’s shop, someone else was guarding their shop.

“Dad!” at the same time they call Ember the man.

“Hi girls. I see that your friends are with you.” smiling said their dad.

“Yes dad… ahh we would just like to take the formal attire hidden on the 2nd floor that we will wear to the celebration in Prince Demian’s castle.” said Ember while seriously staring at their dad.

“Ohh … I think I got out everything hidden on the 2nd floor.” their dad said obviously joking.

“D-Daddy ?! Seriously?” the siblings said at the same time.

Their Dad immediately laughed and messed up their hair.

“My kids really never notice that I’m just kidding.” their father laughed.

“That isn’t funny dad!” the siblings said again.

“I know … I know but take the things you will use, maybe later there will be students who go upstairs and maybe take the clothes that are hidden there.” said their father and smiled.

“Thanks, dad! Come on guys.” said Lizzy and at the same time we went up to the 2nd floor of their shop.

Arriving on the 2nd floor, Lizzy and Ember immediately took the things we needed to wear to the celebration at Prince Demian’s castle.

“Here’s yours Shreya, and here’s yours Stheno.” said Ember as she handed them the clothes.

“Elgin here’s yours and Jax here’s yours.” Lizzy said while reaching for Elgin’s clothes.

It is noteworthy that they really look like royalty compared to me who is just

from another world and does not belong here in this world.

“And of course, we can’t forget Ashleigh … here’s your dress.”

Ember and Lizette pulled on the covered white cloth and there I could not believe the look of the dress they hid for me.

“Wear it quickly!” they all said.

I smiled at them before I measured the dress. When I measured it, I went out of the fitting room.

“H-How do I look?” I asked shyly.

“You look like a princess Ash! You’re so beautiful in that dress!” excited Shreya said.

“You look like one of us.” said Cadmus who smiled at me.

Stheno smiled at me and nodded. Ashamed, I just smiled at them.

“Now let’s hurry so we can buy our accessories!” Shreya said excitedly and had already changed what she was wearing.

“She’s really excited isn’t she?” I said laughing.

“Oh Shreya!” they all said and smiled.

“W-What?” Shreya’s said and looked confused.

They grabbed their foreheads and laughed except for Shreya who is still confused and just staring at us.
