The Good Girl's Revenge

Chapter 485

Chapter 485

Meredith stood at the entrance of the hospital with frustration.

Doctors ought to be kind. She didn't understand why that doctor said that. He even changed his face

when he heard her request.

"Forget it. Since the doctor refused, we'll come back next time. But there may be other possibilities. For

example, could your father have the wrong child or something?"

When Meredith heard this, she came back to her senses from her earlier defeat. She didn't want to

mention Wesley at all.

Wesley, Erin, and Ava were imprisoned for fabricating evidence and so on, and she never came to see

them.

She had no idea if they were out of prison...

It was hilarious that members of the Masons had all gone to prison...

"It makes sense. I'll try to find him and see if I can get some clues."

Penelope nodded. Meredith took out her phone and tried to call Wesley's number.

She didn't expect anything but just tried, but it really got through.

"Hello, who is this?"

Meredith felt she hadn't heard Wesley's voice for ages.

"It's me."

She spoke with mixed feelings.

"How do I know who you are?"

Wesley replied impatiently, "I got a lot of work to do. If you don't speak, that's it."

"It's Meredith."

Meredith spoke without emotions, but Wesley was stunned.

"Are you still alive?"

Wesley stood up immediately. His movement was eye-catching in such a small store, and the guests

looked over.

"Yeah, I'm alive. Do I let you down?"

Wesley's words were not surprising, and Meredith wasn't as upset as she thought she would be.

She used to be frustrated by her father's indifference and disgust. But now... She knew that she was

not Wesley's biological daughter, and her frustration disappeared.

Love and hatred often disappeared in a split second. Wesley was then a stranger that Meredith had

once known.

Wesley didn't say anything, and he didn't know what to say. Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

Derek had taken down the Masons and put all three of them in prison for Meredith. He hated Meredith

so much that he wished she would go to hell after she died.

But he didn't know who to hate when he got out of prison and learned that Meredith was dead.

When people died, what they had done became blurry, and it was boring to hold onto the hatred.

Unexpectedly, she was back.

"Why are you calling for?"

"I have something to ask you."

Meredith said calmly. She couldn't imagine having such a bland conversation with Wesley in the past.

But it just happened. The fate was unpredictable.

"Come to my place. I'll send you my address later."

Meredith promised, but Penelope tugged at her clothes. She knew something about Meredith's past,

and she knew how awful the Masons was to Meredith.

Penelope was worried about Meredith.

"Don't worry. They didn't do anything to me when I was the weakest. They can't do anything to me

now."
