Chapter 483

The man had a bad attitude. Penelope winked at Meredith and walked up to him, secretly stuffing him

with some cash.

Seeing this, Meredith felt it was right to bring Penelope here.

The man hesitated.

"We want to check the files. We won't cause you any trouble."

The man touched cash in his hand and thought it wasn't a big deal. "You can only read the files and NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

Both of them promised. Anyway, they were not here for any secret investigation. What they wanted was

to find out the information about the pregnant women that gave birth that day.

The man brought them into the archives. Meredith told him the date, and the man frowned. "There's

Meredith, who was feeling annoyed by someone staring at her, nodded and walked over.

The files were something from more than 20 years ago. They had been messy since the hospital

moved and merged, and no one had tidied them up.

They went in, and there was dust everywhere. After coughing for a while, Penelope waved her hand. "It

looks like we're going to have a hard time finding what we want. Thank god you brought me here,

right? Otherwise, you would be exhausted if you find it alone."

Penelope smiled smugly, and both of them started searching for information.

Meredith rummaged through a lot of things and finally found a booklet about pregnant women's

childbirth. She took a look at it and exclaimed, "Right! That's it."

The booklet in her hand was wrinkled and yellowed over time, the paper was fragile, and the

handwriting was blurry, making it difficult to identify.

They read it bit by bit and finally found the record of Meredith's birthday in the back. However, the page

of her birth date was missing.

"What happened?"
