After work, Iris told some of the executives of the company and some of the related employees to prep are for the celebratory banquet.

Leon played the main role in Elegante being able to secure the cooperation of the Wick Group this time , with Ariel playing a secondary role.

Other than the two of them, the people in the planning department who worked overtime to design a pla n could not be forgotten either.

There were over ten tables there, and everyone ate and celebrated as they admired the view outside.

Iris, Ariel, and Leon sat at the main table. Other than them, the rest were executives with a lot of power in the company. Mic hael and Ashwin were among them.

Leon was not an executive, so he would normally not have the right to sit at the main - table, but he was the greatest contributor to the Wick Group’s contact and the main

star of the celebratory banquet.

Iris deliberately arranged for him o sit at the main table.

Everyone else took a backseat to Leon.

Leon sat right in between Ariel and Iris. He sat to Iris’s left, while Ashwin sat to Iris’s

right.

The two of them looked like Iris’s left and right–hand men.

The company’s executives were all wise people. They could all see that Iris put a lot of importance on Leon due to the Wick Group’s contract, an d planned on properly cultivating Leon.

Ashwin naturally understood what Iris planned as well. He did not look happy and cursed at Leon’s luck in his heart to have been abl e to secure the Wick Group’s

cooperation. Otherwise, a useless man like Leon would never have been in the same seat as him!

“Alright, let’s start the banquet!” Iris smiled as she had the staff start bringing out the foot.

As the foot was being served, she had Leon and Ashwin both stand up.

“Mister Mercer, you haven’t been at the company lately, so you might not have seen Leon around.”

“Let me introduce you, this is Leon Wolf, the new presidential secretary.”

“Leon, this is the vice president of the company, Ashwin Mercer.”

“You’ll both probably be working together for our products in the future, so I hope the two of you can wor two of them.

“Mister Mercer, hello. It’s nice to meet you, I hope you’ll be able to teach me a lot in the future,” Leon smiled in a friendly manner, trying to shake Ashwin’s hand.

“Mister Wolf, you’re too kind. I’ve been hearing all about you in the past two days. I wouldn’t dare to teach you anything!” Ashwin smiled. He sounded friendly, but he did not even seem to look at Leon’s
