The Ex-Husband's Revenge

Chapter 2875

"Um, what? These are just useless scum. It's not a big deal," Leon snapped out of it and said casually, not at all threatened by the others.

His words caused a stir in the crowd.

"What the? Has he gone mad?" "How dare he say that in front of three powerful families?'" "How arrogant can he be?"

Once the others snapped out of the initial shock, they all turned to Leon in disbelief.

When they learned that Leon crossed the Fermers, the Grimstons, and the Underwoods, they already recognized that Leon was arrogant.

Still, they now realized they underestimated Leon.

Not only was Leon not threatened by the situation at all, but he also mocked the three families and called them scums.

This was practically suicidal.

None of them could comprehend what gave Leon the courage to do so.

"Why you-- Caleb's face turned green from rage.

He initially hoped that Leon would think of a solution or lessen his burden, but to his surprise, Leon provoked their opponents further.

If he knew this was the outcome, he would have preferred that Leon did not speak at all.

Unfortunately, it was already too late.

"Brat, how dare you? You must have a death wish!" Dorian, Felton, and the others were enraged by Leon's attitude.

Dorian only saw Leon as a puny brat. However, with Caleb standing before Leon, he knew he could not get past Caleb and could only suppress his anger.

"Elder Morrison, you better read the room. Since the Morrisons and the Grimstons are among the ranks of prestigious families in the Western region, I'll give you one more chance. If the Morrisons back away now and stop protecting Leon, the Grimstons and the Underwood won't target the Morrisons. Otherwise, we will show no mercy!" Dorian stared at Caleb viciously.

Though the Farmers, Grimstons, and Underwoods had the number to overwhelm Caleb and the Morrisons, the Morrisons were still the most powerful family in the western region.

Caleb was in the Advanced Almighty State and his strength was unrivalled.

If they tried to team up against Caleb, they would likely suffer great casualties and this would not benefit the Grimstons. From NôvelDrama.Org.

On top of that, the Grimstons held a grudge against Leon, not the Morrisons, so there was no point for them to declare war against the Morrisons.

If Caleb could give up on protecting Leon, that would be ideal.

Without the help of Caleb and the Morrisons, a young man like Leon would be at their mercy and all issues would be resolved.
