The Doted Lady Is So Wild

The following two days, Kristen was thinking about how to celebrate Ethan’s birthday.

It was finally the 18th. Early in the morning, Kristen took leave and left the filming site.

After dressing herself up, Kristen went to Nangania’s largest shopping mall. After choosing for a long time, she finally chose a tie from a luxury counter.

Just as Kristen was about to reach out to take it, another hand took the tie away.

Kristen frowned and turned her head to look. It was Elvis.

“What you doing?”

Elvis had already recognized Kristen, but he didn’t expect that she would come to a men’s clothing store. This aroused his curiosity, so he followed her.

“This tie is pretty good. Who did you buy it for?”

Kristen stretched out her hand to grab it, but Elvis dodged it.

“Did you buy a tie from your brothers?”

Elvis raised his eyebrows slightly and said, “I also think this tie is good, but I won’t take what you like. If you like it, I’ll give it to you.”

Kristen said angrily, “Elvis, you go too far. When I buy something, I can buy it to whoever I want. Does it have anything to do with you? Don’t you like this tie? Then I’ll give it to you.”

After saying that, Kristen turned around and left, leaving Elvis in a daze. He quickly put down the tie and followed after her.

“I’m just kidding. Don’t be angry.”

Kristen stopped walking and warned sternly, “Don’t follow me.”

Elvis had no choice but to give up. In order not to make Kristen dislike him, he did not follow her anymore.

Kristen walked around the mall and finally chose a black suit. She planned to give it to Ethan as a birthday gift. When she passed by the cake shop, she thought that having a birthday must with a birthday cake.

So Kristen went to the supermarket and bought some raw materials for cake.

When Kristen got home, she began to get busy. First, she baked bread, then she took her tools and began to make a cake seriously. Seeing that she was making a birthday cake, Aunt Kate did not forget to ask, “Miss Healey, whose birthday is it today?”

Kristen smiled, “Ethan.”

Aunt Kate was surprised. She had served Ethan for so many years, but she had never seen him celebrate his birthday. Naturally, she didn’t know when his birthday is.

Today was her first time knowing about Ethan’s birthday.

“Mr. Wharton’s birthday? Then you have to prepare well. Miss Healey, if there’s anything you need, just let us know and we’ll do it.”

But Kristen said, “No. I want to do it myself. It’s more meaningful.”

Hearing her words, Aunt Kate didn’t interfere anymore. Kristen had been busy until the evening and finally made a decent meal. There was a birthday cake in the middle of the table.

Kristen checked the time. Normally, Ethan would be back soon, and she believed he would be very happy to see this. After all, this was their first birthday together.

Kristen kept waiting until 11 pm, but Ethan still didn’t come back.

Kristen called earlier, but Ethan’s phone had been turned off the entire time.

“Aunt Kate, go to sleep. I’ll wait for him here.”

Aunt Kate sighed and turned to leave.

In the living room, Kristen sat alone on the sofa. The clock on the wall went from 11 a. m. to 7 a. m. Kristen couldn’t stand it anymore and fell asleep on the sofa.

It was not until the sound of a car came from outside that Kristen woke up suddenly. She immediately got up from the sofa and walked to the gate. Unexpectedly, as soon as she arrived at the gate, she saw Ethan and his assistant Kara Baker getting out of the car together.

The two of them were actually a little intimate.

At that moment, Kristen immediately turned around and hid.

She looked at Ethan and Kara. “Were they together last night? Did he turn off his phone on such an important day just to be with her?”

Kristen felt that she was a joke.

Kristen walked in without another word and threw the cake she had prepared yesterday into the trash can. She then took the car keys and was about to leave when she bumped into Ethan, who had just walked in.

Kristen held the steering wheel tightly and stepped on the accelerator. The car sped along the road like an arrow leaving the bowstring.

Her mind was filled with scenes of Ethan and Kara together. While she was lost in thought, a big truck came over from the front. There was an emergency brake sound. Kristen turned the steering wheel hard, and the car hit the fence on the other side.

After that, Kristen fell into endless darkness.

Elvis drove out of the house and saw that there was a car accident outside.

He had never been a busybody, but when he glanced at it, his pupils shrank. “This seems to be Kristen’s car?”

Elvis hurriedly stopped the car. He trotted to the car where the accident happened and saw the unconscious Kristen in the car.

“Kristen, wake up. How are you?”

Someone had already called the police, but Elvis couldn’t wait for a moment. He smashed the door and moved Kristen out of the car. The people around helped her move into the car, and then Elvis sent Kristen to the hospital.

Elvis had been waiting at the door of the operating room, his face full of anxiety. After a long time, the door of the operating room was opened, and a doctor came out.

The doctor just nodded and said, “We will try our best. Come and register the information.”

Elvis followed the nurse to register the information.

“Name?”

Elvis thought for a moment, then replied, “Kristen Healey.”
