“Make a call and ask.”

Aldrich reminded her that he was here to see what Ethan Wharton was like, and why Kristen was willing to be with him even after suffering so much.

“Then I’ll ask Mr. Wharton’s secretary.”

Anna smiled, took her phone, and walked side before dialing Jacob’s number.

“Good morning, Mr. Spencer, and help.”

“Anna, what’s wrong?”

Anna secretly glanced at Aldrich and hurriedly said, “Kristen’s brother has come to the set. It seems that he wants to see Mr. Wharton.”

“What?”

Jacob was surprised. He glanced at Ethan, who was dealing with some documents and asked in a low voice, “There’s something wrong. Miss Healey probably didn’t tell Mr. Wharton. Otherwise, he would have been unable to sit still. Furthermore, there will be a meeting in the afternoon.”

This was a kind of meeting with the parents. If Mr. Wharton knew about this, he would have postponed his work.

Ethan got up to leave and looked at his clothes through the glass. It was his first time meeting her parents, so he decided to change into a more formal outfit.

It was the fifth time that they had to film again, so it was inevitable that the crew would be a little resentful.

Wendy glanced at her and went up to chat with Mr. Gulliver.

No one knew what she said, but Mr. Gulliver decided to shoot again.

As soon as Kristen said the lines, Wendy shook her head disappointedly. “No wonder Yvette can’t get into the character. Miss Healey, you’re too mature. You’re not as innocent as a high school student at all.”

The crew looked at each other. Although they didn’t know how to put on an act, they knew how to watch a show.

Kristen’s acting skills were good, generally acknowledged by the crew. Even Mr. Gulliver had praised her many times in person.

It was obvious that Mrs. Riordan had come to pick a fight.

Kristen accepted it with a guilty conscience. However, after filming six times, she couldn’t even finish her lines. Every word was criticized by Wendy.
