Chapter 246 Playing

Brendon found a parking spot and said, "It's getting hot. Put on your hat!" He placed the baseball cap on her head and helped fix her hair before extending his hand. "Let's go."

"Do you want to hold my hand?"

Ranita didn't move, looking at him.

"Is that impossible? You're my wife," Brendon replied casually, causing Ranita's heart to skip a beat. She placed her hand in his palm and nodded softly.

There weren't many people entering the museum at this time, so Ranita didn't go to many places. Instead, she picked some galleries to stroll through carefully. Sometimes she would discuss with Brendon about what they saw; overall it was a pleasant atmosphere.

"Brendon, can I take a photo with you?" Ranita stood in the sunlight gazing at him affectionately.

They had been married for three years but had never taken any photos together outside of business occasions. Now standing next to Brendon in the sunshine felt comfortable and carefree; it made Ranita feel happy and bright.

"Can I?" she asked again.

"Of course!" Brendon stepped forward and put his arm around hers. "Selfie?"

Ranita looked shyly at their faces close together; she quickly asked a passing girl for help taking their picture.

The girl was good at photography as well as being sociable - capturing not only good composition but also excellent expressions of both subjects.

"It looks great," said Ranita holding up her phone while scrolling through several times.

She was feeling soft inside from seeing how handsome Brendon looked from every angle while realizing how stiff she appeared in comparison.

Ranita felt depressed thinking about it: why couldn't she look more natural?

"It really does look great!" Brendon leaned over to see too then added, "Send me one too."

"You want one too?" Ranita looked at him cautiously. Under the brim of the hat, Brendon's face appeared small, with a high nose and lips that were long and glossy, making him handsome and charming.

"Maybe it's better not to, in case..." In case someone he loved found out in the future... Ranita suddenly couldn't continue, feeling a pang of heartache.

"What? What in case?" Brendon didn't hear clearly and looked up at her, questioning. Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org

Ranita shook her head smiling gently despite having red cheeks from sun exposure saying softly, "Nothing."

Brenden heard everything clearly though…

"If you want photos, I can send them to you. Which ones do you want?" Ranita changed the subject.

The young lady had taken over a dozen photos for them, and in Ranita's eyes, each one was beautiful!

Among these beautiful photos, Ranita's favorite was the one where they were looking at each other. The red wall was crimson and they happened to be wearing white clothes. Their profiles were exquisite and their eyes met in the air...

These gave Ranita her biggest fantasy.

"Send me all of them," Brendon said as he looked at that particular photo with a smile. "This photo is really well taken."

"Right? I also think it's very beautiful," Ranita agreed with a soft expression in her lowered eyes.

"In that case, let's take more later," Brendon held her hand and continued their tour. With the addition of taking pictures along the way, their pace slowed down even more.

After a simple stroll around, it was already two o'clock and they hadn't eaten lunch yet.

"Are you tired or hungry? Since we're visiting the museum anyway, why don't we try some roast duck?" Brendon grew up in Kurima so he wasn't particularly fond of roast duck but his taste leaned towards local flavors.

Ranita grew up in Steland where dishes tended to be milder.

It seemed like even their tastes were completely different!
