Alvin's face paled instantly. His hand trembled with rage. He slammed the computer shut, his face flushed with anger.

The secretary was at a loss. "Chairman Larson, what should we do now?"

"I see now. The old man never truly considered me his son! Even after all these years of service, he only ever saw me as a tool. He only cares about Mila!" Alvin smashed the computer onto the floor in a fit of rage. All his affections for Mila vanished in an instant, insignificant in the face of profit.

Alvin was vibrating with fury, and he yelled out in frustration. "Dad, you've forced my hand at this point."

That evening, Bella hurried back to Yara Park. She went straight to see Mila, who had just finished treating Wyatt and was coming out of the room.

"Aunt Mila, did you visit Old Master Larson? How is he?" Bella pulled her aside, worried.

"He's not doing well," Mila replied, holding Bella's hand. Her eyes were red-rimmed." Bella, there's something I just told Wyatt. Now that you're here, I need to tell you too. The Larson family is in a critical situation. I might have to go back to help my father manage the Larson Group."

"Aunt Mila, have you and your father finally reconciled?" Bella's eyes widened in surprise. "Yes. I'm quite undeserving of it, right?" Mila smiled bitterly.

"Not at all! I'm so glad you reconciled with your family!" Bella said with relief. "I was afraid you'd be trapped in past grudges. It's wonderful that you can all move on. Both Wyatt and I fully support you! The Thompson family will always be your home, and we will always be here for support. Do whatever you want with confidence. Even if Wyatt doesn't support you, Justin, Arnold, and I will always stand by you!"

"Bella, thank you." Mila hugged Bella as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"By the way, Aunt Mila, what position will you take when you return to the Larson Group?" Bella asked curiously. "Isn't Alvin the current chairman? Will you be replacing Aaron? Surely, if a Thompson family member becomes involved, it can only be at the highest level. You shouldn't accept being a mere high-ranking employee. Make sure to discuss this thoroughly with your father."

Mila pursed her lips, her gaze firm. "My father wants me to take full control of the Larson Group. He wants me to replace Alvin as the heir to the Larson family."

Bella was shocked into silence. While she knew that Austin loved his daughter, that old man was not as progressive as Wyatt.

Austin would not simply dismiss Alvin unless absolutely necessary. Not unless Alvin had been involved in something intolerable.

"When I was younger, I was eager to manage the business. Now, I just want to take care of Wyatt and live peacefully with the children. I recommended Arnold to my father, but he lacks management skills. During these tough times, I have to help the Larson family survive."

"Has Old Master Larson already informed Alvin about this?"

Mila shook her head. "When I visited my father this afternoon, Alvin came by. My father pulled him aside to talk. I'm not sure if they discussed this matter."
