"She's deaf?"

"Yes! There is no mistaking it! I have received the medical report, and I will forward it to you two right now. She's still in the hospital, and last I heard, she has gone completely deaf in her left ear. She's beginning to develop hearing loss in her right ear, and she has to use a hearing aid now."

lan's overjoyed voice echoed around the room. "Mr. Salvador, bravo! You sure taught her a proper lesson and slapped the hearing out of her!"

"lan, you are exaggerating." Justin frowned faintly and remarked with a low chuckle.

Bella began to laugh out loud while clapping her hands enthusiastically. She clapped so hard that the webs of her palms turned red. “Hahaha! Wonderful! God is fair, after all! Let's see if she still mocks Carrie from now on! Maybe now she will learn to watch her attitude."

Upon noticing Justin staring at her, Bella immediately zipped her smile. Her cheeks slowly reddened with a hint of shame. "Wait, am I being too... Mm..."

She barely managed to finish her sentence when Justin planted his lips against hers and drowned her in a passionate kiss.

He firmly held her supple body in his arms while running his palm all over the side of her hip, the favorite part of her body that he simply could not get enough of. Meanwhile, he continued to kiss her with burning fervor, parting her lips and teeth with his tongue.

When he felt Bella shuddering in his arms, he suddenly released her from his grip. Then he suggestively caressed her rosy lower lip with the tip of his thumb with a smirk. "What were you going to say? That you were a little too excited about the news?"

Bella stared deep into his starry eyes and seemed like she was going to get lost in them. Her eyes gleamed while she caught her breath.

"You know what I think? I think you should dial it up..."

Justin pressed his palm against the back of her waist. "I love it when you get nasty."

Bella's cheeks immediately turned beet red while she shyly beat her palms against his chest.

Soon, she noticed the pace of Justin's breath growing heavier. There was a lustful look beneath his eyes.

It looked like the man was in the mood.

"Young Madam, you won't believe how cool Mr. Salvador looked today!"

lan's loud and distinct voice shattered the romance hovering in the air. "Mr. Salvador took Old Master Nigel with him today to meet Chairman Salvador. He taught Bethany a lesson right in front of everyone.

"Old Master Nigel was upset with Bethany and gave her a proper beating without caring about what the others thought. After that, Chairman Salvador wanted to protect Bethany for the sake of the family's reputation, but Mr. Salvador didn't budge at all. He pushed for her tébe banished from Savrow and gave her two more proper slaps! I was surprised when I found out about her going deaf. What a nice bonus!"

Bella blinked and turned to fix a suspicious look at Justin.

"Bethany knows what she has done. There is no denying her crimes. To make things worse, she made the most insensible choice she could at the time and went to Gregory to plead for help. She did it right in front of me!"

There was a piercing and yet

disinterested look in Justin's eyes. Despite that, his hands continued

running atong Bella's hips. "You can't blame me for her turning deaf. If you're going to blame someone, you should blame Gregory for not foflowing through with my request to make her apologize to Carrie on her knees. If he had done that, I wouldn't have had to slap Bethany at all."

"Oh, my dear Mr. Salvador, you sure know how to justify your actions."

Bella saw through him immediately. She hooked her finger around his tie and loosened it in one swift gesture. "Are you some kind of barbarian who doesn't even know how to control your strength? Admit it, you did it intentionally. You wanted to ruin her."

Justin was no longer subtle about it. He gently kissed Bella. "I'm just as nasty as you. We're a perfect match."

"Well, not necessarily." A dark, layered look flashes across Bella's eyes. "Ian, how many days will she be hospitalized?"

"Only two or three days."

"Can you appoint someone to get close to her?"

"Her ward is closely guarded by Chairman Salvador's people, and the only person allowed is the attending doctor. I doubt we can get any of our people close to her at all.” Ian remarked in a troubled voice. Bethany became yet another point of conflict in the already heated relationship between Justin and Gregory.
