The Divorced Heiress’s Revenge

Chapter 1799

Chapter 1799

“I don’t need that old dog to say anything. I won’t let Carrie marry into that family!”

Nigel instructed, “Matt, tell everyone that from now on, the Salvador Corporation will completely cut ties with the Hoffman Group! If any of our business partners dare to work with the Hoffman Group, we will never work with them again either. I want to see whose side they will stand on.”

Matt nodded seriously. "Yes, Old Master!"

"Grandpa." Justin's sharp eyebrows furrowed tightly as he approached Bella. "Ryan is here, just outside the door. He wants to see you and Carrie." "Tell him to get lost!" Nigel waved his hand dismissively.

Both Justin and Balla exchanged a helpless look. They knew that Nigel did not truly hate Ryan.

But it was a fact that Ryan failed to protect Carrie, and it was also a fact that he was the grandson of that bastard Logan. To say there was no resentment at all would be a lie.

"If he doesn't see you and Carrie, he probably won't leave." Justin's voice was deep.

Nigel only stared at his granddaughter without saying a word. His stance was clear.

There was heavy snowfall, creating a gloomy atmosphere in the courtyard.

Ryan stood there, his handsome face as pale as the snow around him.

He was dressed in only a thin suit and had been outside for over an hour, his hair and body covered in snow. The bitter cold felt like countless sharp nails piercing his flesh and embedding deep into his bones.

Dean was sent to deal with the situation. After Yasmin had her wound treated, she insisted on following Ryan. It did not matter if she could not see Carrie tonight. She could just watch from a distance.

After waiting in silence for some time, Ryan's body had grown completely numb and frozen. That was when they finally spotted two figures approaching with an umbrella.

"Mr. Hoffman, it's Mr. Salvador and Ms. Thompson..." Yasmin said as she struggled to stand behind him, her dry lips already turning purple from the

cold.

Justin held a large black umbrella, using most of it to cover Bella while leaving a considerable portion of his own body exposed to the snow. "Yasmin, I heard you were injured. Are you okay?" Bella completely ignored Ryan, her worried gaze bypassing him to land on Yasmin's pale face. "I'll take another look at you later."Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

"I'm fine. Thank you, Ms. Thompson." Yasmin sobbed.

Carrie endured immense emotional distress due to her incompetence. It was fortunate enough that she did not die. So how could she accept such kindness with a clear conscience?

"It's alright. It's just a small favor. Come in with me later, and stay here tonight," Bella said gently. She had no intention of blaming Yasmin at all. Yasmin narrowed her eyes and said, "Ms. Thompson..."

Justin wrapped his arm around Bella’s waist and said, “We believe that Carrie was so severely affected because she saw you in trouble. When she wakes up and sees you’re okay, she’ll start feeling better. You must want to be with her, right?”

“Thank you... Thank you, Mr. Salvador. Thank you, Ms. Thompson,” Yasmin said as she bowed deeply, silent tears streaming down her frozen cheeks.

With Bella’s instructions, Steven came and escorted Yasmin into the villa.

“Mr. Hoffman...” Yasmin desperately wanted to go be with Carrie, but she could not bring herself to abandon her boss, who was standing there alone in the bitter cold. She was conflicted and uneasy.

Ryan said in a rough voice, “Go on. Being with Carrie is more important.”

Yasmin followed Steven inside.

As soon as Yasmin went inside, Bella broke free from Justin’s embrace and hurried through the snow to approach Ryan. Suddenly, her eyes turned red with anger and grew wide as she grabbed Ryan's collar.
