The Contract Lover (Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray)

Chapter 104 So Stubborn

Chapter 104 So Stubborn

The baby finally closes his eyes and falls asleep quietly after eating. He has a smile on his pink lips.

Nina quietly looks at the baby’s face and feels warm in her heart.

Is this the happiness of being a mother? She thinks of her daughter bitterly. Before she could have a

look at the world, she was taken away by death. She feels sad for a while.

She gently puts little Nelson on the bed and covers him. Nina stays by the bed and watches the baby’s

sleeping face.

Lucien has been watching Nina. His mood is complicated.

He’s never seen Nina like this. Maternal love makes her look so holy. It seems that the baby has

occupied all her mind.

Lucien feels a little jealous of his son. He gets so much tenderness and attention from Nina.

Suddenly, Nina is pulled out of bed by Lucien!

She is pinned on the wall by him and kissed by him. His kiss is fierce and takes almost all of her breath.

She feels nothing but a blank in front of her eyes. Little Nelson is by the side. How can he kiss her? A

pure baby lies by. How can he treat her as a prostitute and do whatever he wants?

She kicks him and beats him hard. “Let go of me! You let go of me. You’re crazy!”

Nina’s chest feels even stuffier after roaring.

Lucien looks down at her with complicated eyes and no expression on his face.

She frowns slightly and looks at the expressionless man in front of her. She doesn’t know what he is

thinking. She can’t understand his heart. What is he going to do?

“Lucien, what are you going to do?” She roars again. “Why do you always bully me? I’m not the kind of

woman you think I am. Why do you always harass me? I hate you!”

Lucien hears her and looks at her face. He is suddenly frightened. He feels a bit distressed.

“Be my woman!”

Hot words blurt out. At the moment he says it, Lucien himself is a little surprised.

She laughs sarcastically. “Lucien, what are you talking about? Be your woman?”

This is the first time she has really faced up to this problem. Something hits her heart.

“Yes!” He is sure.

“Lucien, do you want me to continue to be your mistress?” Nina sneers and looks sad and angry.

“I’m dirty in your heart. I don’t deserve to live in this world. I only deserve to be a mistress! I’m only a

canary for you rich people, right?”

Lucien wants to say something, but Nina stops him.

“Lucien! I know you look down on me! You look down on me from beginning to end! Yes, I am poor! I

have no status! In this world, anyone can trample me! But that doesn’t mean I’ll give up my dignity to be

your mistress!”

Lucien’s eyes are sad. He looks at the angry Nina. He raises his hand slightly and makes a gesture of

supplication.

“Then, be my girlfriend. Nina, will you be my girlfriend?”

Lucien looks nervously at Nina and looks forward to her reply.

“Girlfriend?” Nina smiles bitterly, “only lovers can be called boyfriend and girlfriend, right? Unfortunately,

I can’t be your girlfriend. Because I don’t love you!” Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

The tension in Lucien’s eyes turns into anger. This woman is so ungrateful! He has asked her to be his

girlfriend. She doesn’t agree!

“Nina, don’t take yourself too seriously!” He says indifferently.

“Haha, do you think it’s a good thing to be your girlfriend? Do you think it’s the dream of every woman

in the world? I’m humble but you like me. Should I thank God?” Nina’s cold eyes are full of ridicule,

“excuse me, President Gray, I’m ungrateful! I have no interest in being your girlfriend!”

Lucien’s face darkens and his eyes fill with anger.

“Lucien, I don’t want to seduce any men. I just want to be quiet. Please, please, stop pestering me, will

you? What can I do for you to let me go?”

Nina suddenly feels so tired. Why does God punish her like this? Her father and baby are dead. She’s

desperate! Why does this man insult her!

Why does he always do this? She really doesn’t want to be with him! She just wants to live a normal

life. She would rather never know him!

Lucien squints and takes a step back in a daze. Her look makes him feel sorry for her.

He suddenly takes her and holds her face with his hands. He raises her chin and forces her to face

him. “Nina, I should have found you earlier. I shouldn’t have let you suffer so much. I’m sorry!”

She freezes. Her sad face is covered with tears. There seems to be the same pain in his eyes, “you

shouldn’t say sorry to me. You should say sorry to my father! His operation has been successful. Why

did you leave him in the hospital to stop my sister from continuing his treatment? Lucien, do you still

have human nature? If you have a little humanity, you won’t do such a thing!”

Lucien squints. “Nina, which of your eyes saw me stop your sister from continuing his treatment?”

Thinking of her dead dad, Nina can’t help crying, “my sister told me! You inhuman devil!”

“Your sister? Is it your stepsister?” Lucien says painfully, “would you rather believe her than me?”

Nina stares at Lucien as if she doesn’t understand what he’s talking about.

Lucien grabs Nina’s thin shoulder and shakes it hard. “Nina! You stupid woman! Your sister is lying!

She’s lying to you! I was just angry that you ran away and didn’t pay for your father’s treatment, but I

never stopped your sister from saving him!”

Something seems to have collapsed. Nina’s eyes widen in disbelief. She covers her ears and shakes

her head desperately. “No! No! My sister won’t do this to me! You lie!”

Lucien stops talking. He turns to pick up the sleeping little Nelson and walks out the door. When he

comes to the door, he turns his head and says to Nina coldly, “Nina, I haven’t seen a woman more

stupid than you!”

Nina, I haven’t seen a woman more stupid than you!

Nina’s body suddenly loses its strength. She sits slowly in the corner and her heart aches. She doesn’t

want to think about it. She hopes Lucien is lying. She can’t accept Grace’s doing this to her!

Although she is not Dad’s own daughter, Dad is very kind to her. How could she do such a thing!

Dad, I’m sorry. I’m too headstrong and stupid. I gave you to Grace to let you die so desperately. Dad,

you must hate me in heaven, right?

Nina murmurs. Tears wet her clothes. She feels endless pain. She smashes her head against the wall.

“You are really stupid! What’s the use of hitting the wall? Can your father come back to life?” Nina is

startled by a voice. Lucien is in again.

“Get out of here! Let me alone! Why did you leave my dad in the hospital? That’s just a few months of

medical expenses. You have a lot of money. The money is nothing to you! Why are you so cruel?” Nina

vents to Lucien.

“Nina, you didn’t keep the contract and ran away. Why should I keep the contract and take care of your

father?” Lucien asks, frowning.

Nina is speechless. She can only pick up the pillow on the bed and smash it on Lucien, “get out! I don’t

want to see you!”

Lucien’s good temper finally runs out. He pulls Nina’s arm. “Woman, don’t make trouble!” He hits Nina

in the back of the neck.

Nina loses consciousness. Lucien puts Nina in a coma on the bed and covers her.

Nina’s pale face is covered with tears. Her wet hair clutters on her face. She looks in a mess.

Lucien gently wipes Nina’s tears with a tissue on her head. He smooths her disheveled hair with his

hand. He frowns and sighs. This little woman is always so stubborn!

Nina seems to have had a long dream and walked a long way. It is already light when she wakes up. A

new day has come.

She stretches, but she is frightened by a half-naked body around her! Lucien! Why is he in bed!

It looks like he was sleeping here last night. Nina is so scared that she quickly lifts the sheet and looks

at her body. Why is her skirt missing? It’s changed into men’s pajamas!

Did Lucien change her clothes last night? Nina looks suspiciously at the man around her. She doesn’t

know what he did yesterday.

“Don’t think too much! I didn’t do anything last night.” He says suddenly. His hoarse voice is full of

mockery.
