The CEO’s Substitute Lover

Chapter 84: Settling Accounts

Octavia Gills said coldly, “Save your breath, I’m free to stay where I want! You can come and bash me every day if you want. But let me tell you, Eldwin and my mother are not slaves to the Drye Family, they left your home for good reason, they earned their money with their sweat, they are clean, they are not inferior to anyone else, and if you speak ill against me again, I will sue you for slander. As for your fianc??e, I don’t care about Tredan Davi!”

Lilian Drye pounced again, “You’re lying! You came back to seduce Tredan!”

Suddenly, Lilian Drye’s hand was grabbed by someone again, and this time it was a tall figure that grabbed her.

Lilian Drye looked up and saw the ruthless expression on his face, immediately starting to panic, “Tredan, you, what are you doing here?”

Woodrow came along with Tredan Davi.

Octavia Gills looked at them and clenched her fists in pain. It was good to hear.

“Tredan, Octavia hit me!” Lilian Drye said accusingly as she bullied her way up to him.

“Yes, this shameless mistress beat Ms. Lilian, we can’t let her go!” Realizing that this was Ms. Lilian’s fianc??e, the girl with long, colored hair rushed to testify against Octavia.

“Get the hell out of here right now!” Tredan Davi said in a cold voice.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Yeah, get out!” The boys next to them also stood over and rushed to Octavia Gills and Lin’s side.

“Ah!” There was a scream and the boy was thrown straight out the door, unable to get up and lying on the ground screaming strangely.

Lin led the applause, “Tredan, good stance!”

Tredan Davi ignored him and gazed at the others, a group of men brought in by Lilian Drye who looked at each other with blank faces and couldn’t help but start moving backward on their feet.

Woodrow added coolly, “He grew up in a sparring school, but his best was in close quarters combat. He has also competed in underground boxer tournaments and has yet to lose.”

Without further hesitation, everyone turned and ran without even looking at Lilian Drye.

Outside, the sound of car engines was heard leaving the place.

“Hey, don’t run! You haven’t paid for the things you broke!” Gar complained to Woodrow, “Mr. Woodrow, why didn’t you give me a warning and barricade the door so they can pay up before they leave?”

“Gar, it’s okay, the leader’s still here, it’s Ms. Lilian’s debt!” Lin laughed uproariously.

Gar nodded in a dazed manner of realization.

“Ms. Lilian, do you think I should call the police, or do you want to discuss this in private?”

Lilian Drye didn’t even look at him, only clutching Tredan Davi’s arm, who only looked at Octavia Gills.

“Tredan, you can’t be fooled by her again, you see, this family is full of wolves and dogs! Eldwin was an honest servant in our family until he was seduced by Octavia’s mother, don’t you fall for Octavia again, she is lusting after you while she is having an affair with Eddison! ”

Lilian Drye felt Tredan Davi stiffen.

Octavia Gills looked calmly back at Tredan Davi and said, in a cold, monotonous voice, “Get your woman out of here! You are not welcome here, so get out now!”

Tredan Davi grimaced and said to Woodrow, “Send her home!”

Woodrow shook his head and sighed, “Ms. Lilian, come on, I’ll take you home!”

Domino, however, yanked Woodrow over and said to Tredan Davi, “She’s your woman, you deliver her, it’s none of Woodrow’s business!”

Lilian Drye wouldn’t let go either, “I’m not going, Tredan you’re coming with me.”

Tredan Davi wrenched Lilian Drye’s grip on his arm and pushed her against Woodrow.

“Take her away!” The tone was unquestionable.

Woodrow hurriedly pulled Lilian Drye to her feet and whispered to Domino, who reluctantly joined him in escorting her away.

Tredan Davi and Octavia Gills were left staring coldly at each other.

“Now, let’s settle our scores!” Tredan Davi spoke with difficulty in a somewhat noisy place.

Octavia Gills looked at him coldly.

“Let’s talk somewhere else!” With that said, he pulled Octavia Gills outside without a word.

Gar stopped by, “Hey, Mr. Tredan??”

Tredan Davi pulled his wallet out and shoved the whole thing at Gar, “All the cards are for your sister’s birthday, hurry up and clean up the shop.”

The crowd erupted.

“Gar, what’s the deal, all of Tredan’s cards are for your sister’s birthday?”

Gar was also flabbergasted.

Tredan Davi drove the car back to the house in a blaze of glory. Octavia Gills knew by the look on his face that he was now furious and dared not provoke him, gripping the armrest tightly without speaking.

Tredan Davi practically carried Octavia Gills into the house and threw her onto the sofa.

Octavia Gills struggled to her feet, “Tredan, what are you doing!”

Tredan Davi grimaced and unbuttoned the collar of his shirt. Seeing Octavia Gills stand up, he grabbed her and pinned her against the wall, “Did you say you don’t want me? Did you? Then who do you want?”

Octavia Gills’ back was against the wall, she was only wearing a long t-shirt and instantly felt the coldness of the wall. Tredan Davi’s hand pressed against her chest, making her gasp, “Tredan??”

Octavia Gills’ struggle angered Tredan Davi even more and seeing her lips turn white as she bit her lower lip, he didn’t think twice and lowered his head to kiss her.

He did not intend the kiss to last long, but it had been too long since he had tasted her lips with a softness that haunted him, and those countless midnight dreams that woke him had prevented him from sleeping again.

He reached down and held the back of Octavia Gills’ head to stop her from struggling to get free, his other hand brushed against her waist and with one push Octavia Gills couldn’t help but shriek.

Tredan Davi’s tongue took the opportunity to slip into Octavia Gills’ mouth, sucking deeply and plundering savagely.

The body is more faithful than the heart in expressing her thoughts that were the same as his.

No matter how much she forced herself not to love, to forget him, the familiar smell, the familiar touch on her body, made it respond before she did.

How could she not miss him?

How many sleepless nights have I spent in tears under the covers, thinking of the old days when we were in love.

Octavia Gills gradually ran out of steam and felt her will dwindle as she sank into a state of confusion.

She had very little clothing left on her when Octavia Gills was thrown onto the bed and the coldness of the sheets sobered her up for a moment as she shrank under the covers and ducked backward, saying in horror to Tredan Davi who was undressing, “Tredan, don’t you do anything!”

Tredan Davi’s anger had all but subsided and all he could think of was how much he missed Octavia Gills.

Octavia Gills’ look made him stagger and, once again enraged, lunged up and pulled the covers off, saying angrily, “You don’t care for me, don’t you? How dare you reject me?”

Octavia Gills was pinned under him and struggled, “Tredan, let go of me first, calm down.”

Tredan Davi squeezed her hand and said fiercely, “I won’t let go, you are mine, Octavia you remember, you are mine! No one can touch you but me, you can’t like anyone else.”

Octavia Gills felt like a small boat drifting at sea in a violent storm, the waves beating mercilessly against her body with unrelenting pain.

No amount of crying and begging for mercy could make Tredan Davi let go. Until there was no more consciousness.

It was almost dawn when Tredan Davi carefully washed Octavia Gills, put her to bed, put his arms around her, and kissed her forehead, in the blurry light the marks on Octavia Gills’ body were visible, Tredan Davi was filled with guilt, he really went crazy, he wanted her so much that he wanted to meld her into his body and never be separated.

He thought about the things that happened.

After receiving a call from Domino, Tredan and Woodrow almost flew there, worrying all the way, fearing that Lilian Drye had hurt Octavia Gills.

Woodrow told him everything he had pried out from Domino today, and he knew that Octavia Gills had also been ill since meeting her that day and had not recovered until now.

Domino says that Octavia Gills always had him in her mind and that it was his engagement to Lillian that disillusioned Octavia Gills making her want to leave the country.

Eddison also found Octavia Gills just a day before he did, not that he thought the two had been together for a long time.

Tredan Davi wanted to punch himself in the face.

He was so concerned about Octavia Gills that he was immediately jealous when he saw her with another man.

It was his fault for not even asking.

How sad Octavia Gills must have been to leave, to be so ill. It also made it easier for Eddison, allowing him to stay and woo Octavia Gills.

Tredan Davi thought that he couldn’t wait any longer, so he might as well do it now, while it was still possible for both of them to confess their feelings, and he would tell Octavia Gills that he didn’t want anyone but her, and that she was the only one in this life.

The pain of separation, the pain of longing, he didn’t want to go on, and why should they torture each other any longer when Octavia Gills loved him too?

Woodrow never knew how much he envied him and Domino, a fight and a tussle, three or five days at most, and it was fine, and if it was possible between him and Octavia Gills, then he would rather be as shallow as Woodrow, and would do anything for Octavia Gills.

Octavia Gills was never one to spare him any aggravation.

When they were together, he never admitted it when he was wrong, and Octavia Gills, who had always spoiled him and made him unbearable, could have known everything about it if he spoke to her first.

This time, when they meet, he would confess his mistakes to Octavia Gills, and beg her to forgive him and come back to him.

Along the way, Tredan Davi kept cheering himself on and kept envisioning a better future. He had to stop giving up quickly.

But, as soon as he entered, he heard Octavia Gills say coldly, “Your fianc??e, I don’t care about him!”

Her voice was so cold, and Tredan Davi’s heart, which had been boiling with fervor, was plunged into ice at those words.

He walked towards her and looked at her, and he told himself that Octavia Gills said that because she was angry, she did not mean it, not really.

But she said next, “Get your woman out of here! You’re not welcome here, so get out of here right now!”

Each word was like a knife that plunged into his cold heart, again and again.

Does she hate him?

She doesn’t love him at all anymore.

Octavia Gills, the one who loved him, never spoke to him that way.

When did the Octavia Gills, who loved him, ever treat him that way?

Her heart must have fallen in love with another man, like, Eddison.

That’s why he was so angry and didn’t even think about winning her back.

He didn’t care who she was in love with, anyway, he was going to bring her back and lock her up with him.

The moment he kissed her, his icy heart melted into water and he knew that this was his Octavia Gills, the Octavia Gills that had never changed.

But why did she reject him? Was it to make him think that she did not love him? But the more she struggled, the angrier he became and the more he tortured her.

Burying his head in her hair, Tredan Davi was overcome with remorse.

Octavia Gills opened her eyes with difficulty, the discomfort in her body causing her to breathe uneasily.

“Octavia, are you okay?” Tredan Davi asked a little timidly.

Octavia Gills’ mind went blank for a moment before she remembered what had happened.

The painful discomfort in her body woke her mind and she shrank back.

Tredan Davi released her and gave her another pillow to make her comfortable.

Octavia Gills’ tears fell in big drops.

Tredan Davi panicked, “Octavia, Octavia, where are you not feeling well?”

Octavia Gills huffed, “Get out, I want to get dressed.”

Tredan Davi, not daring to say another word, nodded and went out to bring in Octavia Gills’ clothes, the buttons ripped off and unwearable. He went to Octavia Gills’ old locker and took a jumper and put it on the bed. Turned around and went out in silence to wait.

Octavia Gills had mixed feelings when she saw this jumper that she had worn once before.

Composing herself, Octavia Gills slowly walked out.

Tredan Davi was standing in the living room, and when he saw her, he came forward but Octavia Gills subconsciously ducked to avoid him. Tredan Davi’s hand froze.

“Octavia, let’s make up.” Tredan Davi whispered.
