Chapter 13
I turned on my phone as soon as I woke up on Saturday morning, took my bath and brush my teeth with an extra toothbrush and was on my way to the living room to continue the movie when my phone started ringing, it was an unknown number.
“Hello” I said calmly
“Where were you last night?” Jason’s angry voice asked
“It’s none of your business”
“You weren’t in your room last night”
“You have no right to enter my room without my permission”
“I have every right because you are mine”
“I’m not yours! I’m nobody’s property!”
“Lexi, I’m waiting for you across the street in front of your house. Come let’s talk” he said calmly
“I’m busy right now” I said while Cynthia took a seat beside me “I’m with my girlfriend”
“Wait! what!? Girlfriend?”
“Yeah girlfriend”
“But you aren’t into girls, are you?” He asked with trembling voice
“I owe you no explanation, ex boss” I replied and hung up on him
“That guy is really into you” Cynthia said
“I don’t know. He doesn’t want to commit himself”
“Because he is scared you are going to break his heart or date him for his money.”
“But I won’t.”
“He doesn’t know that.”
“What do you think I should do?”
“Give him what he wants.”
“You mean I should be his fuck buddy?”
“Call it whatever you want, but it’s hot.”
“You’re unbelievable”
“I’m incredible”
A few hours later, we heard knocks on the door.
I paused the movie and asked Cynthia, “Are you expecting someone?”
“Not that I’m aware of,” she replied, and she got up to open the door.
“Lexi! Someone is looking for you,” she said quietly, as if she couldn’t believe what was happening.
“Who?” I asked while getting up but got no reply. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the person at the door, and I pretended to be angry at him even though I was happy.
“What are you doing here?” I asked him in a semi-quiet voice.
“Thank you very much, Cynthia,” Jason said. He got hold of my hand and started pulling me to his car.
“I’m not going with you,” I started saying while using my other hand to free myself.
“I don’t care.”
“This is kidnapping. I’m going to sue you for kidnapping.”
I looked back at Cynthia, who was still standing at the door, and screamed, “Cynthia, save me! Save me, Cynthia!” But all she did was wave at me
“Stop screaming, or I’m going to shut you up in front of your girlfriend,” he said quietly.
“You think you can have me wherever you want, huh?”
“Yes, of course, I can have you wherever and whenever I want because you are mine.”
“I’m saying it again; I’m not yours.”
“Get inside the car,” he said, “or do you want me to force you inside?” he added, freeing my hand.
“Fine,” I said in surrender, and I entered the car.
He entered the car and started it.
“You didn’t let me pick my bag.”
“My driver will come for it.”
The drive to his house was in silence, and I couldn’t hold it in when I saw how big his house was.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
“Wow! This is beautiful.”
“I know,” he said, smirking.
I gave him the eye and got out of his car with no further flattering.
“Feel at home,” he said when we were finally inside.
“This is not my home,” I replied, but he pretended not to hear.
“What do you care for?”
“I think apples will do.”
He came back a few minutes later with a crate of apples.
“Who do you think I am? A savage?”
“You said apples.”
“Not a crate of apples.”
Something vibrated inside my stomach, and I almost had a heart attack.
“What is it?” He asked worriedly
“My phone,” I replied.
I’ve forgotten that I kept my phone inside Cynthia’s jacket that I was putting on. I took it out, and it was a text from Cynthia.
‘That was so hot! What’s happening now?’
‘You are a betrayal. You betrayed our friendship’
‘What do you expect me to do? That guy is really into you. Did he kiss you when you got inside the car?’
‘No but I’m at his house now ‘ I replied
‘WHAT!? How big is his bed?”
I ignored the message and raised my head to see Jason staring at me.
“Stop staring at me,” I said to him.
“You’re beautiful,” he said.
I dropped my phone on the couch I was sitting on and took an apple from the crate.
“Thank you”
“You are welcome.”
My phone vibrated on the couch; it was a message from Cynthia.
‘I’m waiting for your reply. How big is his bed?’
‘I don’t know. I’ve not seen it yet.
‘What!? That is where you are supposed to be now.
‘We will talk later’
‘But, I’m bored’
‘Take some ice out of the freezer, break them into smaller pieces, eat them and go to sleep. Bye’
I put my phone on ‘do not disturb’ and put it back on the couch.
“Are you through with texting?” Jason asked
“What do you care?” I asked back while taking a bite from my apple.
“Are you that mad at me?”
“Of course, very. You told me you owned me, but I don’t have the right to know your whereabouts.”
“Why do you have the impression that I was with her that day?” He said this while taking an apple.
“My gut”
“I wasn’t with her. We went our different ways, but I saw you with him. You were kissing him.”
“That wasn’t what happened.”
“Explain to me what happened. I saw you with him.”
“I’m not denying it, but that wasn’t what happened.”
“Tell me what happened.”
“That guy is Peter; he is my ex. We went to college together. We have dated for five years, and we just broke up.”
“When?”
“Some weeks ago. He wanted me back. That was what the meeting was all about.”
“So you’re back with him now?”
“No. I told him I would think about it.”
“Do you still have feelings for him?”
“What do you care? It’s not as if you are interested in a relationship”
“Do you still have feelings for him?” He asked harder.
“No, but I don’t know how to tell him that. I don’t want to break his heart.”
“So you are still dating him?”
“No! Hell no! I told him I would think about it.”
“What are you still thinking about when you already know the answer?”
“It’s none of your business.”
“And that girl is Cynthia?”
“Yes. How do you know her address? How do you know about her?”
“I have eyes everywhere.”
“You are a first-class stalker.”
“I will do anything to have you under my roof.”
“And you think I like being under your roof?”
“Why won’t you? When you like my dick inside your pussy.”
“Fuck you”
“I know you want to, baby.”
“Asshole”
“Do you want us to start with that?”
I gave him the bad eyes and continued eating my apple.
“Are you really into girls?” He asked with a serious face.
“Yes. What do you care?” I played along.
“But you don’t look like someone who is into girls.
“Am I supposed to write it on my forehead?”
“No. I don’t mean it that way. I’m just… So Cynthia is more than a friend to you.”
“Yeah, but we are not in a relationship.”
He shocked his head in understanding and got up.
“What drink do you care for?”
“Coke or Sprite”
