Mavis stared at Blaine in shock, wondering if she just heard him say that the troubles she just experienced is ” just the beginning”. No, she must’ve misheard because as far as she was concerned, everything that has happened to her for a month now has been the worst thing to happen to her. There was simply no way this could be the beginning. If this was the beginning then she would like to opt-out right now!

” You’ve got to be kidding me! This is the beginning? Who the hell says I’m going to stay for the rest of the show?” She asked while Blaine managed to look at her but his eyes didn’t stay on her for more than a second.

” I’m just saying because you’re carrying my child. Pedro knows that you’ve become a weapon that he can use against me and I can’t exactly say that’s entirely my fault.”

” Not when that mother is like a version of yours…” Blaine said and Mavis looked away.

” Mavis, Victoria doesn’t even know her kids’ birthdays. I do. But, when she took the kids with her, she went to the press and said awful things about my relationship with the boys and that’s why people believe I don’t like them! I love them with every fiber of my being!” Blaine said and then started to breathe heavily, realizing just how much he had let out in very little time.

” Well the ‘deets’ had to be said, else you’d really believe I hate them,” Blaine said and then he sighed.

” So, if I go by what you’re saying right now, about this being the beginning, what exactly am I supposed to do now?” Mavis asked, trying to change the topic.

” You won’t be safe, walking around anymore. If Pedro found me this easily, it’s safe to say that our enemies will find you too”

” What enemies”

” When you raise boys from childhood to do all kinds of unthinkable things, along the line you’ll make enemies. My adoptive father, Papa H was that man and he made a lot of enemies. ”

” Wait, so what’s happens to me and my friends?”

Mavis stared at him wondering if he was joking or if he was serious because of how expressionless Blaine’s face could be at times.

” You want me to stay with you. What about your wife? Your other sons, I know you think no one is going to harm them but what if someone does actually harm them. Look, I’m not your wife okay? So I’m not going to live with you.”

” What’s this whole thing about my wife and my kids? They’re fine. No one is going after them because they think I don’t care and I made it so. I would’ve done the same for you if I hadn’t been too careless with you”

” I’m sorry, you’re saying you fake not caring about your family so that your enemies won’t use them against you?”

” Yeah?”

” I’m sorry but that’s stupid! Look, I’m not going to live with you and that’s it. It’s fine if you don’t want to help me with the Estate debts, really you don’t have to worry but I am NOT going to be your mistress.”

” Is that what this is about?” Blaine asked as he followed her back into the hospital. She quickened her steps with hopes that she would be able to get to Luke’s ward before Blaine would but Blaine was a tall man, he reached her and grabbed her by her wrist but that just made her blood boil.

” Look Blaine just stop -” Mavis was saying when she suddenly felt nauseous and vomited again on the floor.

” Damn Mavis…” Blaine said because some of it got on him.

” Sorry” she muttered as a nurse walked by.

” Are you okay? You need some help, Miss. ”

” Seems like she’s pregnant,” another said, he was a man and he seemed so tired of his work already.

” Thelma come clean this up! You are coming with me Miss,” he said extending his hand out to Mavis.

” You haven’t had a check-up yet, have you? You should go.” Blaine said when he saw the panic in her eyes.

” But I don’t like hospitals and drugs… I just”

” I’ll come with you”

” Of course, you will. Aren’t you the father?” The female nurse asked and then she paused.

” Wait, aren’t you that billionaire that bought a football club a while back?”

” No, I’m not,” Blaine said looking a little bit alarmed before he took Mavis by the hand and ushered her out of the hospital.

” Why are we suddenly leaving?”

” I don’t know but I got a very bad vibe off of that female nurse. I’ll get Luke out soon and we’ll get a private doctor for him and you as well”

” It’s not that serious Blaine,” Mavis said as Blaine led her to the car but she suddenly got shot at but the shooter missed.

” Fuck! Get in the car right now!” Blaine ordered and Mavis jumped right inside his car while Blaine drove the car as fast as he could. Mavis was able to get a look at who shot at them as Blaine drove farther. It was indeed the female nurse and she felt so afraid because Luke was still in the hospital.
