” Luke! Luke!” Mavis shrieked as she ran to where Luke was, groaning and holding his leg where Pedro has shot him. Darla, Amy, and Lisa rushed out of their rooms at the sound of the gun but froze when they saw Pedro with the gun.

” I knew he wasn’t a good person!” Lisa muttered to the others.

” He shot Luke!” Darla said angrily and loud enough to hear.

” So what? Do you want to go next?” Pedro challenged but he got no response from Darla.

” Pedro, look, I will come with you guys, I’ll join you guys, I’ll do whatever you want just don’t hurt this woman and anyone else I’m begging you,” Blaine said in Spanish, shocking everyone else because they didn’t think he would be so fluent with it.

” Ah… why do you do all this for a woman? The Miguel I know would never make such drastic moves so quickly. Are you sure you’ve not lost your touch?” Pedro replied in Spanish, looking at Blaine suspiciously.

” I’ll do whatever you want. And no, I’ve not lost my touch.”

” All right, father is expecting you soon. You know how to find me.” Pedro said before he walked backward and left through the front door.

” Luke! Are you okay?” Mavis asked as the other girls surrounded him and checked up on him. When Mavis saw the way he bled, she became nauseous again and quickly grabbed Blaine’s jacket and vomited inside it.

” Gosh this is so…. disgusting” she muttered and kept the cloth aside.

” Please, let me take him to the hospital, he’s losing so much blood,” Blaine said but Mavis glared at him.

” You’re the reason why he got shot in the first place! Who even are you? Huh, Blaine? Who are you?”

” How will you drive, your car is at your mother’s remember?” He pointed out and she groaned.

” Fine! Help me get him in your SHADY car then!” She said and he quickly carried Luke in his arms like he weighed nothing but he wasn’t so gentle as he walked to his car so Luke kept cursing in anguish until Blaine placed him in his car.

” Who’s coming with me?”

” Me of course,” Mavis said as she entered the passenger seat and Lisa also followed along with Darla and Amy.

” So, everyone is…” Blaine muttered and then he entered his car and drove.

He was hoping that only Mavis would go with him so that he could explain things to an extent to her but that may not be possible. He would have to think of another time to say it.

” Now, tell us who the hell you are!” Darla said, pointing a gun at Blaine who just sighed and shut his eyes momentarily before he opened them again.

” Mavis tell your friends to keep away their guns.”

” Why should I? After all your brother just casually walked into my house, pretended to be interested in buying the Estate, and then he shot Luke in the leg! You should get the same treatment don’t you think?”

” What I think is that I’m driving and I don’t want any distractions right now.”

” You think this is just a distraction? I’ll pull the trigger and end you right here and now.”

” Relax, your boyfriend will be fine. Stop whining you sound like a mosquito” Blaine said, sounding as if he didn’t just hear Darla threatening to shoot him.

” Put the gun away, kid.” He said when he saw that Darla still placed the gun on his head.

” What did you call me?”

” Alright, fuck this,” he said, completely abandoning the steering wheel and causing everyone else at the back intense panic as he turned on his seat, pulled the gun from Darla’s hand, unloaded it, and tossed it out the window before he placed his hands on the steering wheel and drove them away from a truck that would’ve smashed into them had he been a minute slower.

” Are you crazy! Do you want to get us killed!”

” He’s a psycho! The fuck is your problem!” Amy yelled from behind.

They all kept hurling curses at him except Mavis who just sat in silence and glared at him from the rear mirror.

” If you all don’t shut up then I might just go full-on psycho mode on you all and I swear I’m not my brother, I don’t aim for the leg, I’ll shoot your brains out!” Blaine said calmly as he brought out a gun so stealthily that they all kept quiet.

” If you want an explanation from me then you’ll act accordingly. Now shut up and let’s take Luke to the hospital. Are we fine with that?” He asked and watched through the mirror as they all nodded in fright.

Only Mavis seemed unbothered and he planned on finding out why.
