” Why would you even hang around with a girl like that!” Mavis could hear Lisa yelling at the top of her voice the minute she entered the house. Thankfully, because of their fight, they didn’t realize that Blaine drove her back home nor did they have an idea about her steamy moment with him.

Unfortunately because of their fight, everyone seemed to be in a terrible mood except her.

” Oh thank God Mavis is here!” Darla said immediately she saw Mavis. She walked up to Mavis and whispered in her ear, ” please deal with this mess. I have so much work to do and I can’t put that on hold right now”. Mavis nodded but she didn’t get right to it immediately. She went up to her room to quickly change into something more comfortable before going downstairs to talk to Lisa and Luke.

But before she got there they were already slamming their doors against each other. Mavis sighed and ran her hands through her hair while Amy stared at her.

” Are you okay? You look pale.” she said but Mavis shook her head and said, ” yeah, I’m fine. I just umm… I just got back from my mom’s”

” Okay? And?”

” And she claims to not have known about the debts on the house and she says she had no money to pay the debt.”

” I think it’s obvious what we will do Mavis,” Amy said and Mavis sighed.

” I tried everything. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong” she said.

” It’s okay. When the time is due, we’ll leave and go back to LA. That way Lisa and Luke may stop fighting over those who are here and they can start over.” Amy said, patting Mavis on her shoulder as she walked past her and headed to her room.

” Wait, do you know why they fought?”

” Yeah, it was about some girl called Eva, I think. Lisa says the girl bullied her at school so naturally, she got mad to see her brother making out with a girl that he knew used to bully her.” Amy explained.

” Oh… I see” Mavis said while Amy shrugged and started to head to her room but she turned back so swiftly that Mavis jolted in fear.

” I thought you said you’re going to see your Mom?” She asked, smiling mischievously.

” Duh, I did.”

” I also believe you said you’d talk with Blaine about buying the house for the amount he offered,” Amy asked, still smiling mischievously while Mavis slapped her hand over her forehead as she remembered she was also supposed to talk about the house with Blaine but was too busy getting her p*ssy eaten to remember any of that.

But since she already said she won’t be seeing him anymore, she decided she’d call him later.

” Yeah, I called his office before going but… he wasn’t on seat so…” Mavis lied and folded her arms.

” Right… I wonder where you got these hickeys that totally have nothing to do with Blaine whose cologne is literally all over you” she teased and Mavis shut her eyes in regret, knowing she was busted.

” How do you even know his cologne”

” Cos there’s no way in hell you smell this expensive” she responded, while Mavis rolled her eyes.

” So, did you?”

” Did I what Amy?”

” Did you really hook up with him again?” She asked and when she saw that Mavis didn’t say anything else, she screeched excitedly, running as fast as she could to tell Darla the latest update about Mavis and Blaine.

However, when she knocked on Darla’s door, they could hear her crying in her room.

” Darla. Are you okay?” Mavis asked and Darla immediately stopped crying. She didn’t expect that anyone would bother her since she said she had work to do. That was why she finally let out all the frustration she was feeling about Luke. But she couldn’t let Mavis know that she was in love with Luke because of how weird things would get.

” Darla?!!” Amy yelled as she knocked on her door louder. Darla knew that if she doesn’t answer the door, Luke might get a hint of why she was crying because of how jealous and hurt she looked when Lisa told her why she was mad at Luke.

” Darla, if you don’t open the door right now so help me god I’ll-”

” – get inside, must you always make a scene?” Darla said immediately she opened the door. Mavis and Amy entered faster than the speed of light and she quickly shut the door and faced both Amy and Mavis whose faces screamed so much curiosity.

” What do you guys want from me. I was working!” She lied and went to her desk to sit down.

” The laptop isn’t even on darling, what were you working on? How to cry in silence?” Amy said while giving Darla a very skeptical look.

” I wasn’t crying” she lied, looking away from her friends.

” We both know that you’re lying so, just tell us what it is because we’re not leaving this room until you do. We just want to help” Amy said as she lay down on Darla’s bed.

” I… can’t,” Darla said simply.

” Is this about Luke? I guess it’s time you stopped messing around and told the boy how you feel about him or I’ll do it for you.”

Darla became so flustered because that statement came from Mavis. She didn’t expect it to come from Mavis since Mavis always seemed to be the clueless one whenever she was with Luke.

” Oh… so you know?” She just asked shyly and when she met Mavis’s glare, she knew that she was in big trouble.
