Chapter 325 We'Ll See

Lyon looked up with difficulty and glanced at the chair that was only one meter away from him.

He can’t tell what the chair was made of. But it had a reflection of silver and its back was attached to

multiple colorful circuits. Moreover, there were two tubes installed to its right side which was channeled

to a bucket of water.

His face suddenly changed and asked, “What are you doing?”

“You are a runway model right? What can you do after if you don’t have legs?”

Looking serious and angry, Magnus grasped his shirt and then dragged him to that chair.

“Let go of me.” Lyon screamed and was struggling violently. But he can barely move since he was

cocooned by sack and ropes. He can only be dragged by Magnus.

“I’ll say... I’ll tell you everything...”

Lyon screamed in fear. The whole basement was echoing his screeching.

“It was Franklin! He ordered me to approach Hayden and take photos of us sleeping together. But

nothing happened between us. I just drugged her to let her pass out. Then... then I took the photos and

gave them to Franklin.”

Magnus frowned and looked at Joseph.

Joseph didn’t even have to ask Lyon why would Franklin need these pictures. The only thing he wanted

from Hayden was her shares of Downey Group.

Joseph’s face was freezing cold in darkness.

Walking forward, he stepped on Lyon’s face, “You won’t be able to speak now if you really did

something.”

“Just let me go, please. I was forced to do that.”

“Mr. Beckham.”

Afraid that things might get complicated if Lyon was dead, Magnus said, “Now that we’re done with

him, should we let him go?”

Retracting his foot, Joseph said coldly, “You don’t need to finish this. Those two thugs outside will know

what to do.”

Magnus let out a sigh of relief. He didn’t really care what would happen to Lyon as long as he didn’t

have to punish him himself.

Lyon was a shitty person anyway.

Then they walked out of the basement and told those two thugs to go in. After a minute, Magnus can

hear miserable screaming, but that sound quickly disappeared.

Magus can’t even think about what these two hired thugs were doing.

“What should we do now, Mr. Beckham?”

“We’ll see.”

Sitting at the back seat, Joseph said coldly, “

For Old Master Beckham‘s sake, he didn’t care much what Franklin did before. What’s more, he didn’t

get the time to manage the company recently, so Franklin can actually help him. But now, everything

When it was near the new year, there was a drill at the University of Public Security.

Receiving his number plate, Stefan pinned it to the inside of his battle dress seriously so that other

people can also identify him should anything dangerous happen to him during the drill.

Ignoring his coughing, Stella said seriously, “Just follow me later.”

Stefan tried his best to push her away and said, “Follow you? Not in a million years. What did you call

Stella glanced at him with disdain and carried the drill rifle on her shoulder.

“Bullshit. You are just a weakling. My score of cross-country run with the weight when I’m on my period

is even higher than that of your best score. To be honest, in this kind of drill, your intelligence unit

doesn’t really matter. Nanking is not big, so we can just have a sweeping search.”

Livid with anger, Stefan said, “You can conduct a sweeping search in Nanking, but when it is really war

time, you definitely won’t be able to search the whole world without our intelligence unit’s help.”

Raising her eyebrows, Stella said, “Well, I won’t retort you, but you have to follow me this time.”

“No.” Shaking her off, Stefan said, “I have my own plan this time. You don’t need an intelligence unit

member anyway. I will do my own thing.”

“What? No.” Stella chased him and said, “You can’t leave the squad without permission.”

“You need a sweeping search, right? I’ll be responsible for the east part of Nanking then. You can have

other people to search other places.”

“East Nanking is too crowded. You won’t be able to find anything. Let’s just go to the west part of

Nanking.”

“I have to go there.”

Sensing his persistence, Stella asked in bewilderment, “Why would you want to go there so bad? Is

there something I don’t know in east Nanking?”

“Of course.” Stefan raised his eyebrows. “A drug-making and –selling hideout. Do you believe it or

not?”

“Bullshit. Why don’t you report it then if it’s true?”

“I doubt that they have personal connections with the narcotics squad. So I decide to look into it myself

and just arrest them all.”

Hearing his words, Stella originally thought that he was just kidding, but realizing that he was serious,

her face changed.

“Stop this nonsense.”

“It’s not nonsense!”

“No, I have to report it.”

“You can’t do it.” Stefan immediately dragged Stella and said, “I will do this myself. You can’t report it.”

“Are you crazy?” Stella’s face darkened. “This is just a drill, remember? All the hideouts are pre-

arranged. What’s more, all our trifles don’t even have bullets. What if something goes wrong? Plus,

there are other members in our team. What if they bump into you and assume it’s just the pre-arranged

hideout?”

“So I asked you to let me handle the east Nanking.”

Stefan looked pretty serious, “Other team member won’t trespass into other members’ territory once

the area is divided clearly. Moreover, I’m confident that I can arrest the drug lord this time. I don’t want

to receive a medal or something. I just want to take them all into custody.”

Stella paused a bit. Every time when Stefan talked about this sort of thing, she will follow his train of

thought subconsciously. Actually, she started to notice this man when he delivered that speech at the

school opening ceremony.

To her, Stefan was pretty weak and can’t even fight a girl, but he was a real man.

“Fine.” Stella frowned, “But I have one requirement.”

“Go ahead.”

Stella was the commander of this team, so getting her approval was a head start for Stefan. He didn’t

really expect that Stella would be this easy to persuade.

“I’ll go there with you.”

Hearing her words, Stefan paused.

Stella spoke again, “Your every move has to get my approval when we get there. Absolute obedience

is in our soldier’s blood.”

Though Stefan was unhappy, he had to listen to her.

After the morale-boosting meeting, Stella divided search territories in her team and asked two people to

follow her. Then they went to the east part of Nanking together.
