The CCEO’s Hidden Identity

15:

“WHERE is Euna?”

“Euna is no longer here, Red. She has effectively resigned, it was supposed to be next week, so I don’t know why she didn’t come here now to take her last duties,” Joy answered him with a sympathetic look.

Red gritted his teeth. “How about Reyna? I’ve heard she’s studying, what school? Or, when is her duty here? What time will she be here?”

Joy shook her head. “Reyna also resigned.”

Red clearly sees the pity in Joy’s eyes, but damn it, he didn’t need it. What he needs is info that can tell him where Euna is.

“Try to call him, Joy, please,” he pleaded with Euna’s co-worker.

Just maybe if this is the one who calls her, Joy will be connected to Euna.

He didn’t want to put it in his mind- but maybe because he’s blocked on Euna’s phone so he can’t reach her. Although he tried to call her using Grey’s phone earlier, Euna’s number was also out of reach even if it’s ringing. He guess, what’s happening right now hasn’t even sunk in to him yet.

That Euna-Left. Just. Like. This.

Joy immediately followed his request. A few moments later, they were both waiting for a response on the other line.

“What?” Red asked Joy impatiently.

Joy shook her head again. “Out of reach,” she said sadly afterwards.

“Damn!” Red was about to kick the goods in front of the counter where he and Joy were talking face to face, but his cousin Grey pulled him away.

“Hep! Dude, calm down.”

“Red, please calm down! Oh, ghad! I don’t have a co-worker here right now. I can’t fix items while I’m here at the counter,” Joy also weaned at him. “Oh, by the way, here, here’s your card. I didn’t touch it.”

Grey took the card that Joy was handing to Red.

The kick that Red was about to do was actually kicked on air. He just straightened himself up and rubbed his own palm on his face in annoyance because of the frustrations he felt at that time. Then he was punched in the air.

“Bullshit!” he blurted angrily.

“Well, she’s gone here. So, where are we?” Grey asked.

“Let’s go to the railroad. Maybe we’ll catch them up.” While Red was saying that, he was walking out of that convenience store.

The convenience store that witnessed his love with Euna. He smiled bitterly at his thoughts. Then he tiredly leaned against the back of his car that Grey was driving.

“Show me the way and I won’t memorize it.”

“Just go straight…” until we just bump into another car and die…

If seeing Euna now was a collision or death, he would rather have die. Just the thought of Euna had hid from him, he couldn’t take it anymore.

If Euna thinks that his feelings for her are shallow, well she’s wrong. So it’s annoying. Her attitude is annoying because she thinks she is the only one who has the right to decide between the two of them.

THERE is no one in Euna’s house. That’s what was pressing into Red’s brain when he got there because there was a padlock on the door which didn’t happen before.

Actually, he already knew that there was no one there because when he was far away earlier, it was obvious because there was no light, that was not happening either before.

“Hey, Red, it’s you. Wow! You’re a big time now?!” Marites said when Red kicked the small fence of Euna’s house.

Why is it that everyone seem to want to stop his kick? Damn it!

He sighed, and faced Marites.

But Grey managed to speak before him, “Hello, do you know where Euna is? Do you know where they moved to?”

Red was stunned. By the way, Marites know everything that happens on the railroad!

“Oh, yes, they left a while ago. They seem to be in a hurry,” replied Marites.

“Do you know where they moved?” Red repeated Grey’s question with a speed tone.

Matites should know. If she knows, he will give her a reward immediately.

“What time did they leave?” Grey asked Marites a follow-up question.

The latter seemed to be thinking. “They… Well, I actually don’t know where they moved to. Euna just said that this land is ours. That they will not return here, that maybe, their house will soon be rented because they have already moved to another house.”

“What time did they leave?” If that’s why Euna is totally going off the railroad, maybe she won’t leave… Nica!

“Just recently. About 20 minutes ago,” replied Marites. “Oh, maybe you would still catch them up. Euna said they will go to Nica first!”

“Thank you!”

He’s stupid. He didn’t think of Nica right away! They just go straight to Jax’s house first instead of the railroad!Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Damn! They wasted a few more minutes talking to Marites.

“SO, is your plan finalized?”

From arranging the things they had moved, Euna turned to Reyna. Those things are still in the box. She and Reyna take it out. Both of them helped each other arrange their stuff.

“Of course,” she replied dismissively to Reyna. “Why? Here we are now, and we’ve moved.”

“I mean, I know that you’ve been planning this for a long time. But Euna, I hope you didn’t accept the money. We’ve already paid for the house and we’ll be moving in a little while. The title to the land is also in our name. Are you still going to take the money you received from Don Vladimir?”

Euna sighed before answering Reyna. “Reyna, have you forgotten that the land in the railroad is the replacement for that?”

“I didn’t forget that. I just didn’t feel its substance and purpose, and what else was it for, now we have our own house again. Shall I repeat that it’s just a little bit-”

“Leave it alone, please. At least, our neighbors’ lands are safe. They now owned it, period.”

“Are you going to run for a captain position of the railroad? Well, if that’s the case, why are we leaving there?”

Euna responded to Reyna’s sarcastic remarks with just a brief glance. She knew that she could not accept her decision because it involved her moving away from Red.

“That’s the way it should be, Reyna. I can’t even let myself love him completely knowing his level in life.”

“Hmm, isn’t it?

“Aunt Euna, I saw it in the stuff below, it’s cute! Can I just have it?” Their conversation is interrupted by her niece, Arabella.

Fortunately, Arabella did come and Euna didn’t know how to handle Reyna.

“Oh, that umbrella!” Reyna exclaimed when she remembered something Arabella was carrying.

Euna will never forget where that umbrella came from. Yes, it was cute and little so her niece, Arabella was happy when she saw it in the things they moved.

“That umbrella…”

“Yes, Reyna,” she just said to her friend who was suddenly excited. After all, that umbrella was part of their past, so Reyna was so happy to see it again.

“Can it be mine?” Arabella asked her aunt again.

“Of course. Just handle it with care,” Euna said to her niece. She caressed her hair as well.

“Yes! Thank you, Aunt Eun!”

“Alright, go play in your room.”

Arabella’s nose wrinkled. “I’ll be there in the living room first, Aunt Eun. I’ll watch first.”

“Why?” Reyna asked Arabella.

“Well, I’m still not familiar with my room, that’s why.” Shrugging her shoulder, Arabella uttered.

“Huh? But your Sister Nica and Baby Aneecka are also there…”

Arabella bowed to what Reyna said. She replied softly, “That’s right. I’m still not familiar that there’s… another baby here at our house.”

Reyna smiled at Arabella’s confession.

Euna hugged her niece. “Come on, you are our baby but you’re not a baby anymore like Baby Aneecka. You’re an older sister of Baby Aneecka now.”

Arabella’s face crumpled even more at what she said.

“Oh, I know, let’s wait for Baby Aneecka to grow up so you can play together,” Reyna suggested.

Arabella’s eyes widened at what Reyna said. “That’s cool!’

Reyna just stared happily as Arabella ran back to her room where the mother and daughter, Nica and Aneecka were also there.

Of course, Euna has also included Nica and the baby with them. Just so Nica knows about their new house.

“You kept that umbrella. That’s funny!”

Euna just shrugged her shoulders in response to Reyna. “It’s no big deal if it’s hidden or lost.”

“There it is! There’s a fire on the railroad- oh, I mean…”

“Reyna, you’re just too sentimental.” Euna just shook her afterwards.
