The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1966

Alaric rubbed his chin, looking mischievously at ease, "Beg me, come on, beg me, and I'll tell you what to do."

Hertha, who had been frantic just a moment ago, puffed up her cheeks in anger at his words, "Alaric!"

"Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing. You just sit tight in the car, I'll handle this." Seeing Hertha truly about to lose her temper, Alaric quickly admitted his mistake.

With that, he opened the car door and stepped out, moving around to the driver's side with the swagger of a well-to-do young man. He addressed the burly man, "Enough with the fuss, so I bumped your car, so what?"Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

"What kind of attitude is that? Look what you've done to my car!" The man was menacing, pointing at the rear of his battered car and glaring angrily. Alaric calmly pulled out a platinum card from his pocket, pinching it between two fingers and handing it to the irate man, "Here, a BMW service center platinum card. Don't worry about fixing your car. Heck, you could give it a full makeover and it wouldn't be a problem."

The man's eyes lit up at the sight of the card in Alaric's hand, his demeanor instantly becoming friendly, "Oh, a regular at the BMW shop, I see. Sorry, I was too harsh just now."

As the man apologized, he eagerly took the platinum card from Alaric.

"Alright, your car still runs. Just drive it straight to the service center," Alaric told him.

"Okay, okay, we'll settle it like this then." The man, now holding the platinum card, happily walked away.

He climbed into the battered BMW and drove off.

Hertha, sitting in the car, witnessed the entire scene, her eyes wide with astonishment. It was incredible.

Alaric had managed to resolve such a major traffic accident in just a few words.

If it had been up to her, that burly man would have given her an earful, not to mention the money she'd have had to pay!

A BMW, no less. That would have cost a pretty penny!

Just as Hertha was lost in thought, someone tapped on the window. She turned her head to see Alaric's handsome face almost pressed against the glass, smiling and gesturing for her to roll down the window.

Realizing what he meant, Hertha rolled down the window.

"Can you

drive your car?" Alaric asked.

"I'll try." Hertha, a bit slow on the uptake, remembered that her car was blocking traffic.

Hertha looked out at Alaric in a panic, "It's broken, the car won't start, what do we do?"

"Then get out," Alaric said, unfazed.

With no other choice, Hertha turned off the engine, unbuckled her seatbelt, and got out of the car.

Only then did she notice the long line of traffic that had built up behind them.

Many drivers, growing impatient, were honking incessantly.

The sound of the horns seemed to echo in Hertha's heart, amplifying her panic.

She quickly took out her phone to call a tow truck service.

Before she could dial, Alaric snatched the phone from her hand.

Hertha instinctively reached for her phone, "Hey, what are you doing!"
