The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1955

After hanging up the phone, Lysander comforted her, "Don't worry, we'll get it back soon enough."

"But your leg..." Thalassa was still concerned. She wanted her phone back primarily because it contained Lydia's number: "Do you have Lydia's number saved in your phone?"

"No, I don't. But it's not a big deal. My leg's fine, no need to have it checked again," Lysander said, wrapping an arm around Thalassa's shoulders and pulling her close. "Just take a moment to rest; there's no need to worry so much."

"I just wanted her to check if your leg is truly healed. In case it's only temporary, or maybe if it's better now, getting some treatment could solidify its current state," Thalassa said, worried about potential future complications.

If Lysander's leg was fully healed, that would be great. But if there were any lingering issues, getting a doctor to check it out sooner rather than later could prevent unnecessary consequences.

"I know my own body. I'm fine, really. You don't need to worry so much. Just close your eyes and rest for a bit," Lysander said, pulling Thalassa closer into his embrace.

He didn't want to talk about seeing a doctor for his leg anymore.

Thalassa could sense his reluctance to discuss medical consultations, so she decided not to push further.

Obediently, Thalassa leaned on Lysander's shoulder, closing her eyes to let her nerves relax.

Earlier, when Callum had trapped her in the hotel room, coming dangerously close to assaulting her, she had been truly frightened, every nerve in her body taut with tension.

Even though Callum had been taken away by the police, her muscles remained tight from the stress.

Now, resting against Lysander, feeling his warmth and the strong sense of security he provided, her body and mind gradually began to relax.

By the time they returned to Royal Estates, Thalassa had fallen asleep.

Lysander, holding Thalassa in his arms, walked into the foyer.

Fitch, hearing the noise, came out to greet them and was stunned to see Lysander, not only walking but also carrying Thalassa, heading straight upstairs.

Seeing Lysander's ability to walk and even carry Thalassa upstairs, Fitch was so ecstatic he stood frozen, his cheeks twitching slightly with overwhelming joy.

"Good heavens, Lysander's up and walking. This is fantastic!"

Rushing back to his room, Fitch eagerly phoned Zephyr to share the incredible news.

Over the phone, Fitch could hardly contain his excitement: "Sir, Lysander's leg is healed; he's walking like nothing was ever wrong!"

"What did you say?" Zephyr, obviously surprised, stood up from his couch abruptly. "Say that again!"

happiness and repeated, "Lysander's

on his feet. I saw it with my own eyes he carried Thalassa up the stairs."

"He's not only standing but carrying someone as well?" Zephyr was even more astonished.

He remembered Dr. Funke's words after diagnosing Lysander, preparing him for the worst - that Lysander might never stand again.

The news had hit Zephyr hard; his grandson, once so proud and untouchable, reduced to this?

For a while, Zephyr had been despondent, even ignoring the corporate battles for control of the Sinclair group.

But now, this unbelievable news had come - Lysander was standing, walking normally!

"Yes, Lysander's recovered, moving freely, even carrying weight," Fitch answered excitedly.

"They're at home, right? I'm coming over immediately," Zephyr said.
