The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1904

As Joshua approached Lysander, he cast a fleeting glance at Thalassa, too preoccupied to pay her any mind, and greeted Lysander with an earnest smile. It was as though Lysander was some sort of miracle worker, capable of solving any issue that came his way.

At that moment, Reginald turned to look their way. Ever since he found out that Joshua's scheme to marry Lysander off to Rosalind was a ploy to hand over the Whitman Group to him, Reginald's inner thoughts about Lysander had soured, marking him as a rival.

Now, as Lysander approached, Reginald's gaze was filled with barely concealed animosity.

Lysander, however, couldn't be bothered with Reginald's stares. He looked straight at Joshua and simply said, "Let's check it out."

Pushing him forward, Thalassa made her way to the doorway, only to be confronted with a harrowing sight.

Susan was perched precariously at an unguarded window, one hand clutching her toddler tightly and the other gripping the window sill. A slip could send them both tumbling down.

The child, terrified, clung to Susan's dress with white-knuckled fingers, too scared to even cry, teetering on the edge of panic.

The sight made Thalassa's heart squeeze in fear for Susan and the child, and it brought back a haunting memory from three years ago.

Leopold had fallen from a window, landing in a pool of blood.

She had witnessed the scene firsthand the vivid blood, Leopold's gruesome state, all of it assaulting her senses, causing her heart to shatter from the pain.

The current perilous state of Susan and her child reminded her of that dreadful moment, causing her grip on the wheelchair to tighten, her complexion losing color.

Upon spotting Thalassa and

Lysander in the doorway, Susan became even more agitated than before. She had previously been seen with the child at the orphanage by Thalassa and Lysander, and it wasn't long before Joshua showed up!

Susan was convinced that Thalassa and Lysander had informed Joshua about the child, prompting him to come and take the child away.

Hiding the child from Joshua was

Susan's bargaining chip in

negotiating with him. If Joshua

managed to take the child, she'd

lose all leverage.

But now, despite her efforts, Joshua had found them, and if not for her quick reaction, he would have succeeded.

She blamed her current predicament entirely on Thalassa and Lysander.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

And Lysander was a tough nut to crack. Her actions might threaten Joshua, but they wouldn't necessarily work on Lysander.

So Susan grew even more desperate: "Thalassa, Lysander, my issues with Joshua are none of your business. Just leave!"

"How can it be none of our

business? Lysander replied with a

smirk, almost teasing. "After all,

Thalassa is the aunt to your child.

They're bound by blood; you can't just erase that connection."

Quick to retaliate, Susan snapped, "And what does that have to do with you?"

"Anything concerning Thalassa concerns me," Lysander said, his tone firm.

It dawned on Susan then-Thalassa and Lysander were an item!

Thalassa was living the dream, not only married to someone as outstanding and wealthy as Lysander but also fiercely protected by him.
