The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1837

Chapter 1837

Hatred, they say, stems from a love that runs so deep that the resulting scars never truly heal. And indifference? Well, that's the absence of any feeling at all.

When Thalassa and Joshua discovered their father-daughter bond, it wasn't merely a heartwarming reunion. Thalassa needed Joshua's help to gain entry into the Sinclair family, to secure a chance to care for Lysander during his time of need. And Joshua did just that. During the most challenging three years of Lysander's life, Thalassa had the privilege of being by his side. This was the most meaningful thing Joshua had ever done for her, and she was endlessly grateful for it. This alone was enough for her; she dared not ask for more.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

Hertha was flipping through the news one morning, and what she saw nearly made her drop her phone in shock.

In just a few days, Thalassa had become a household name! Not because she had won a top prize in some jewelry design contest, but for something even more spectacular! Zoey, a long-time player in the jewelry scene, had been caught red-handed plagiarizing Thalassa's designs in a desperate attempt to win. This only meant one thing: Thalassa's creations were extraordinary. To win, one had to mimic her brilliance!

This revelation set the inte ablaze, and Thalassa became an overnight sensation. Everyone was dying to get their hands on her pieces. However, being new to the scene, Thalassa's designs were scarce in the market.

But then, it came out that the Sinclair group had, quite some time ago, purchased an entire collection of Thalassa's designs. They were already out there, shining in display cases, ready for sale. Social media was on fire, with fans coordinating visits to stores showcasing Thalassa's jewelry.

Hertha was so pumped reading all the comments that she jumped out of bed, threw on some clothes, and dabbed on makeup, ready to join the frenzy. She arrived at the mall, and holy moly, it was packed! People were everywhere, cramming around the jewelry counter, snatching up Thalassa's designs. This was the very same counter Hertha and Thalassa had browsed before, back when no one bothered with Thalassa's pieces, and only a few had shown interest in Hertha's.

Now, the tables had turned.

Thalassa's designs were flying off

the shelyes, while Hertha's sat untouched. In just minutes, Thalassa's stock was wiped@lean. Hertha was gobsmacked.

"Are you buying or not? Move it or lose it!" someone snapped, shoving past Hertha, who was still in a daze. She got jostled around, losing her footing, until a sudden "thud had her seeing stars.

A child's cry sliced through the chaos: "Ow, that hurts!"

Hertha realized in horror she'd bumped into a kid. She spun around,

all apologies, "Oh my gosh around,

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to..."

"Just great, an adult crashing into a kid. Can't you see he's hurt?" a parent scolded.

As Hertha braced to apologize, she locked eyes with the parent. Her jaw dropped.

"It's you!"
