The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1810

Wyatt saw Payton cornered by a barrage of questions from a kid who was barely seven, and quickly stepped in to smooth things over.

"How could that possibly be his intention? Besides, that video might not even be real," Wyatt was still trying to wiggle his way out with excuses.

"Wyatt, just now, you were so quick to bring in two people to falsely claim my mom copied that lady's work, all without a shred of evidence. Yet now, with both audio and video evidence laid out before you, you're calling it fake. Are you behind this? Why else would you keep defending that lady?" Atticus Sinclair spoke to Wyatt in a calm, yet cutting manner.

Wyatt wasn't afraid of direct accusations or harsh words, but this straightforward, piercing approach left him speechless.

Just moments ago, Wyatt was all slick talk, but faced with Atticus Sinclair's calm demeanor, his face froze.

Looking around nervously, he retorted, “I'm the head of the organizers. I decide who gets protected!"

"Is that so? Unfortunately, it's not up to you," Atticus Sinclair said with a smile, chilling and distant, reminiscent of Lysander's, carrying an indescribable sense of pressure.

Wyatt was taken aback, asking subconsciously, "What do you mean?"

Thalassa was clueless about the meaning behind those words, too caught up in the joy of seeing her son, barely noticing the tense atmosphere.

Just when everyone was puzzled, Callum stepped forward to answer Wyatt's question, "While the audio was playing, the outdoor jumbotron was also showing the surveillance video with sound."

Wyatt was shocked, his eyes widened as he quickly glanced at Payton, worried about offending him.

Before he could say anything, Callum added, "Oh, and by the way, all of our backstage conversations were also broadcast live on the stage's big screen."

Callum said this with a gentle smile on his lips.

glance, one might take him for a friendly-guy-next-door, but over time, it becomes clear he's a 'smiling tiger using his grin to maskall emotions.

As he played the recording on his phone, he had also turned on the live broadcast feature.

Meaning, everything said backstage was being broadcast live to the big screen outside.

Both the media and the audience got to know the full story in real time.

Hearing this, Wyatt's pupils shrank in shock, his face full of astonishment, left with no strategy.

Looking towards Payton for help, he

saw Payton taking deep drags from his cigarette, the smoke swirling around him, seemingly concealing his irritation but in reality magnifying it.

Seeing Payton's state, Wyatt knew he was upset.

Sweat beaded on his forehead as he hurriedly said, "Let's call it quits here, move out, everybody!"

The scene, meant to investigate the truth but actually aimed at framing Thalassa, was forced to disperse.

After saying this, Wyatt quickly led Payton out through the back door of the backstage.

He didn't dare let Payton exit

through the main entrance, worried

about being surrounded by the audience or the media, bombarding them with questions and causing a scene. That would make the

situation even more uncontrollable.

With Wyatt and Payton gone, the venue fell into silence.

Lance was holding Zoey's arm, initially to stop her from admitting to copying Thalassa's work, but now, it served as a pillar of support.
