The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet

Chapter 1772

Thalassa was initially stunned, feeling Lysander's passion envelop her. Gradually, her body relaxed, lost in the fervor of Lysander's kiss.

They were so caught up in the moment, with the temperature rising between them, when suddenly there was a knock on the door. A cautious voice of the servant pierced the heated atmosphere, "Lysander, is it dinner time, or shall we wait a bit longer?"

Hearing the voice, Thalassa jolted, pushing Lysander away reflexively. Though she and Lysander were officially an item now, she was still shy. Being caught kissing Lysander would turn her beet red.

Sensing her discomfort, Lysander let her go, pulling her into a comforting embrace to help her catch her scattered breath.

The servant, receiving no reply, quietly retreated.

Thalassa leaned against Lysander's broad and warm chest, taking deep breaths to calm herself from the whirlwind Lysander had stirred in her heart. Her cheek against his chest felt the powerful masculinity, and right by her ear, over Lysander's heart, she could hear his steady and strong heartbeat.

It was comforting for Thalassa, a feeling of happiness spreading in her heart. It had been a while since she last heard his heartbeat.

During the three years she took care of him, she would listen to his heartbeat every night before sleep, a reassurance before she could allow herself to rest.

Since Lysander had awakened, it had been ages since she last listened to his heartbeat.

Hearing it again brought her immense comfort and joy.

Thalassa reached out, hugging Lysander, basking in his warmth, her voice soft and slightly coquettish, "Lysander, aren't you going to ask where our kids are?"All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Since his awakening, Lysander hadn't once asked about the kids.

This made Thalassa wonder if he had forgotten about them.

"The kids are at boarding school, doing really well," Lysander's deep voice responded.

He had gotten updates from Zephyr and had seen videos of the kids at school.

Thalassa hadn't seen the kids for three years and was unsure how they were faring, undoubtedly missing them dearly.

His grandfather was harsh in his

methods, taking the kids away from

Thalassa and not allowing her any

contact for three years.

Knowing how much Thalassa adored the kids, one could only imagine how hard it was for her.

Lysander continued, "The kids are

disciplined, waking up at 7 AM,

followed by breakfast and then classes. Elowen is as chubby as ever, enjoying her meals. Atticus and Doriamare competing in their

studies, both top of their class.

Sophia has taken a liking to

antiques, winning severab

competitions and becoming a young appraiser."

These updates were all from Zephyr.

Listening to Lysander, Thalassa felt both relief and a pang of sadness, her eyes welling up with tears.

She hadn't expected the kids to thrive so well without her.

It was just her struggling to cope without them.

Thalassa, fighting back the tears, responded calmly, "As long as they're happy, that's all that matters."

Though Thalassa hid her emotions

well, Lysander could sense the

turmoil within her. He tightened his

embrace, gently saying, "The boarding school is strict. In a year, they'll be out."

A year seemed like an eternity to Thalassa, who wished she could see her beloved children the very next day.

But with Lysander's words, she knew she had no choice but to wait, holding back her longing for her children.
