The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 57

Chapter 57

1 heard you’ve been skipping classes a lot and are relying on Christopher to help you graduate. If that’s the case, why not take this chance to drop out and get a job? I can help you find one… How about cleaning the bathrooms at the Sunset Hotel? It’s a luxury hotel after all…”

At this point, the voice of Leah on the phone suddenly paused. Then Allison heard Penelope’s voice from the side, ‘Mom, cleaning bathrooms is too easy. Let her work at the Red Jack Club, serving and pouring drinks…”

Red Jack Club is a famous entertainment venue in Northfield.

When night falls, it’s the busiest place in all of Northfield. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Allison knew exactly what Leah and Penelope were up to. She couldn’t help but laugh, “If you’ve got it all planned out, then I’ll just go along with it.”

Penelope said discontentedly, “Your attitude sucks. We provide you with food and clothing, your mom relies on us for medical expenses. Allison, we’re not denying you a choice. It’s you who’s skipping too many classes. You might as well get a job since you can’t graduate this year”

Allison lowered her head. Even if it was a desperate choice, she had indeed made it herself.

Earning money earlier would be good. Once her mom’s health improved, she would take her mom and leave the Flanagan family!

Her clenched fist gradually loosened, and she replied, “All right, I’ll start tonight”

“Don’t worry, as long as you behave, your mother will be fine.” On the other end of the phone, Leah hung up cheerfully.

Soon after, Allison received a text message. They instructed her to go to the Red Jack Club and find a woman named Sarah.

That night, Allison stepped into the entertainment venue.

In the office.

With a cigarette between her fingers, Sarah glanced at the woman in front of her. She was thin, had smooth skin, a good demeanor, and was pretty even without makeup, but her expression was cold, and her eyes were indifferent.

“Why do you want to work here?”

“My mom is sick, and I need money.”

Sarah, 33 years old, has been hanging around here since her teens and has some standing.

Dressed in a black coat, her feet crossed on the coffee table, she raised her thin eyebrows, “Eight out of ten people use that excuse. Fine, from now on, you’ll be responsible for the bars on the sixth and seventh floors. The salary is base pay plus a 2% commission. You’ll have one day off a week.”

She laughed at Allison’s surprised expression and said, “Did you think we’re running some shady business here? Red Jack Club isn’t that type of place. But if you’re interested, I could refer you to places that do that kind of thing.”

-Allison lowered her head, “No, thanks.”

Sarah waved her off, “Go to room 202 and find Hailey for your uniform.”

“Okay.”

Allison left the office as instructed.

Before coming here, she had prepared herself for the worst, even contemplating if she would accept her fate if certain things were happened, and things turned out better than expected!

She breathed a sigh of relief. Under Hailey’s arrangement, a round–faced girl helped Allison put on her uniform.

Looking at Allison, the girl frowned, “You’re really too thin; this is the smallest size we have.” But it was still too big around her waist, “I’m Ashley, what’s your name?”

“Allison.”

“Nice to meet you, Allison. We’re colleagues now.”
