The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 111

Chapter 111

She’s been on this planet for 22 years, and it’s been like wrestling in hell or surviving harsh winters.

Her childhood was filled with joyful birthdays. But then an earthquake struck Cloudville and she lost her beloved grandma After that, she was taken in by Joshua Zimmer and Grace into the Lindberg family

At the age of 13, she lost her dad and brother to an accident

Her mother lost all joy and was later diagnosed with kidney disease.

Until now, all the responsibilities had been shouldered by Allison.

But no matter how tough the run was, she as determined to find Grace.

She would take her out of Northfield.

In the old town of Northfield, there’s a mental hospital.

It’s not a big hospital, just two buildings. One is the outpatient building, and behind it is the inpatient building. This inpatient building only houses a handful of patients, most of them can’t even remember their own names. They only have a few nurses looking after them.

The inpatient building has six floors, and the top floor can only be reached by one elevator.

There used to be two elevators, but one was removed a month ago. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

There are sometimes rumors in the mental hospital.

“Dr. Andy, how’s that patient on the sixth floor doing? Why are there so many bodyguards there? Is the patient some big shot?”

Dr. Andy adjusted his glasses, “I don’t know, I’ve never been there.” But he was still a bit curious.

This patient didn’t seem to be here for mental illness.

The doctors and nurses taking care of this patient were unfamiliar. This was just an old mental hospital with a few doctors and nurses. Suddenly, there were strangers, and it was obvious.

“I heard that patient has kidney disease.”

A janitor chimed in, “I overheard once while sweeping the floor, that patient had a kidney transplant surgery… something about rejection response…”

The nurse gasped, “A kidney transplant? Why would that surgery happen in a mental hospital? That patient is even heavily guarded, I saw four bodyguards at the door.”

Dr. Andy reminded them, “You should put your curiosity away, take the patients back to their rooms, playtime’s over.”

Just then, a black car pulled into the hospital.

Ms. Adeline looked up and asked the nurse beside her, “I think I’ve seen this car before.”

The nurse replied, “This car has been here four times in a month, about once a week, seems like it’s here for the patient on the sixth floor.”

Ms. Adeline mused, “How mysterious”

Suddenly, a nurse ran out from inside, shouting, “Heath is missing, has anyone seen him?”

Ms. Adeline frowned, “Heath? Wasn’t he swinging with you on the lawn?”

The nurse shook her head, “I just went to the restroom, and when I came out Heath was gone.”

Heath was a 13–year–old boy who was brought here by his family six months ago because he would say crazy things like he could see the future or ghosts behind you, which scared his parents, so they decided to send Heath here.

But in the past six months, Heath’s condition hasn’t improved.

He still says things that people can’t understand.

Meanwhile, Allison was led out of the car blindfolded, guided by a bodyguard.

Today was Saturday, the day she visited her mom.

The air was filled with the familiar smell of disinfectant.

She carefully counted her steps as she came out of the elevator, walked a few steps to the door of a hospital room. The bodyguard who accompanied her seemed to have a few words with someone, then the door to the room was opened, her blindfold was removed, and Allison was in Grace’s room.

“Mom–”
