The Billionaire’s Lust Love

I was getting closer and closer to the address of the hospital and my heartbeat was getting stronger. For some unknown reason I was nervous.

When I arrived at the hospital, I immediately parked the car and hurried inside but I saw my sister not far away.

“What is she doing here?” I don’t know but something urged me to follow her. Isn’t a great coincidence that she’s here while none of our relatives were taken to the hospital?

I stopped for a moment and hid when I saw her stopped and started to talking to a nurse.

I was not far away so I heard what they were talking about.

“Hannah, long time no see.” The nurse said while smiling at my sister.

“Hello Jessica. It’s nice to see you.”

“What are you doing here?” Jessica asked Hannah.

“I’m visiting my nephew,” I gasped in surprise.

Which nephew is she referring to? Do we have another sibling who already has a child?

“Nephew?” The nurse asked.

“Yes. My brother’s son,” Hannah answered. I blinked thrice at what she uttered. Because of what Hannah said, the nervousness in my chest intensified. I feel like I’m losing my breath.

“To your brother Steven? I thought he didn’t have a child yet? Well I heard rumors that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant and he was the father, but I didn’t believe it right away because it was just rumors.” I saw my sister’s face crumple as she looked at his friend.

“That was just a fake news. My brother didn’t impregnate the bitch!” Hannah exclaimed!

“And besides, I have a handsome nephew. And yes, keep it a secret because even my brother doesn’t know that he has a child.”

I felt like I lost my soul when I heard that. So it’s confirmed. Why didn’t I know I impregnate someone? Like I said, I’d always make sure I use protection if I do that thing.

Why Hannah knew everything? Why am I the only one who’s clueless here?

“Oh! Okay,” the nurse answered.

“Yeah, anyway I’m leaving Jessica. See you when I see you.” Hannah said and continued walking.

THIRD POV

Because of what he heard, Steven followed his sister until Hannah entered a room. Steven knew right away that that room was the room of Hannah’s nephew. He could literally hear his heart beating so fast.

He didn’t go in first and hid on the corner.

He pretended to be with another patient watcher and was watching the room his sister entered.

He waited two hours before he saw Hannah come out so he immediately covered his face with a jacket and pretended to be sleeping.

When he made sure that his sister was gone, he immediately entered the room. He immediately saw a girl who drove him crazy for a week. The girl he missed so much. His baby, Ria.

But when he saw the child sleeping on the bed, Steven’s world stopped moving. He felt like his soul move from his body and his legs were shaking. His jaw dropped when he saw the kid looking exactly like him.

He literally sat on the floor.

Steven’s chest tightened. He couldn’t believe what he’s seeing. He couldn’t believe that the boy in the bed exactly looked like him. Steven felt like he’s looking at his younger self.

For some inexplicable reason, he felt strange. He felt joy, pity and anger at his current situation.

And suddenly his sister’s anger at the bar came back to his memory. Hannah was very angry back then because he drank alcohol while there was a child who was in critical condition. He remembered Kael’s actions earlier too. And everything was confirmed.

Then out of nowhere, he recalled what his friend Philip said not so long ago.

Steven immediately left, confused. He wanted to talk to his friend. He wanted to know why he didn’t know about the kid.

He wanted to know where he and Ria first met. He wanted to investigate further.

He told me months ago that he saw a child who looked like me and he’s positive enough that it was my son.

I didn’t believe it because it might just be a coincidence.

And I am so stupid because I didn’t even check. I want to know the truth now.

“Oh bro, what are you doing here?” Philip said when he opened the door.

“Bud, I have something to ask you. About the boy you saw in the airport.” Him being Philip just smirked at me.

“So you believe in me now?” I nodded in response. Sweat was dripping from my forehead. I didn’t know everything would be like this.

“Come. I have something to show you.”

I entered his condo. He offered me a drink but I refused. I just wanted to know the truth.

Philip entered the room and when he came out he was carrying an envelope. He gave it to me so I was surprised when I turned to look at him.

“What’s this?”

“Open it,” I opened it and saw the picture of Ria and the boy who looked like me.

“You see man, when I saw them at the airport, I’m positive enough that the boy has a connection with you. His looks, it’s so you. The way he talks, and the way he acts, I literally see you. Even when I was observing the child, I could easily identify your actions with him. Even the mother, after I mentioned your name, she stopped her son talking to me. That’s why I investigate even if you didn’t believe me.”

“Where did you first see them?”

“At the airport when I went to Canada.”

Canada. I didn’t go to Canada these past few months but it doesn’t mean that I haven’t been there.

“Rialyn Loverio and her son, Hivo. According to the information I gathered, they were living in Divine’s house which is Diego’s lover. The child is turning six while Ria is currently working… as your maid.”

I was surprised and looked at him. So he knew and he didn’t tell me?

“6 years ago, Ria went to Canada together with her best friend named Agatha who is now Akhael’s wife. And when she returned to the Philippines, she was pregnant. So now bud, try to recall it. Think about what happened and why you forgot Ria.”

I tried to recall what happened six years ago in Canada. That year, I chased Amanda in Canada. I went to Canada to bring her back but I failed and I don’t remember anything anymore. I was with my sister that time so it’s impossible for me to be with Ria that night.

“I don’t remember anything bud. I don’t remember anything with Ria.”

“That’s impossible buddy. Because I got the DNA result yesterday.”

My eyes widened in disbelief looking at him as he handed over the DNA result.

“Why didn’t you say all of this?” I asked him.

If he knew these, he should have tell me everything immediately. I have the right to know. The evidence he has is enough to convince me that I have a son.

“I tried bud but Hannah blocked me. Four days ago, I went to Ria to the hospital to confront her about the truth since there was no DNA test result yet and I met Hannah there. She asked me not to tell you everything and Rialyn also talked to me that if possible she will be the one to tell you everything.” Philip said.

“But you found out everything before she could tell you the truth.” He added

Fvck! What have I done? I was enjoying my bachelor life while I neglected a child? What kind of person am I?

THIRD POV

“What happened to him?” Ben asked, one of Steven’s friends who only showed up once in a while.

“He just found out about his fatherhood.” Philip answered while shaking his head.

“What the fvck. For real? He has a child Pee?” Ben couldn’t believe what he heard. He didn’t think that apart from Kael, they had another friend who already had a child. Philip glared at him.

“Can you stop calling me Pee?” He frowned at Ben but his friend ignored him.

“How did that happen?” Ben asked Philip and the young man looked at him in his stoic face as if Ben was the stupidest person in the world.

“Because he inserted his genital into the woman’s genital, so he is now a father like Kael.” Philip answered his idiot friend.

“This is a big news. We should celebrate then,” Ben said but Philip stopped him.

“I think he needs to be alone this time, Ben. Look at him, he’s far from the Steven we know. He’s blaming himself for his stupidity.” Philip said seriously.

“Yeah! He’s wasted,” Ben nodded while Steven was completely lost.

He was very angry because no matter how hard he tried to remember Ria, he couldn’t really remember her. And it’s frustrating to his part.

He was angry because he was so careless. He’s furious because his stupidity let Ria raise their child alone. And he’s furious even more because he’s not there when his son was born.

He did not know the reason why Ria did not tell him the truth. And he also couldn’t be angry with her because he found out that Ria had been looking for him in Canada thinking that he was living there.

And Steven felt at that time that he was very useless in the world.

If before, he was asking Ria’s purpose why she applied as his maid, now he seemed to know why.

Steven wanted to know everything and he knew that his sister, Hannah knew something about what happened 6 years ago. He wanted to know if he was really with Ria that time at the bar, or not.

“Steven, that’s enough,” Philip said trying to stop him from drinking more.

“Instead of wasting your time here bud, why don’t you just go home and prepare yourself to go to see your son?” Philip said and Ben was just listening to the conversation.

Steven sobbed.

‘Right. I have a son now. He’s in the hospital. I should be there.’ For the first time in his life, a tear fell down from his cheek and his friend was shocked to see Steven crying.

“Sh*t bud! Hey, you still have a chance to be with your son.” Ben said to Steven in a daze and supported him as he tried to stand up.

“Also with Ria. You like her, don’t you? It’s your chance Steven. Rialyn doesn’t have a boyfriend. The only person with her at home is your son.” Philip said.

“Rialyn?” Ben asked Philip in confusion.

“It’s a long story bud. Later, I’ll tell you everything. Let’s take Steven home first.” Philip answered and Ben didn’t ask any more questions and they led Steven out of the bar.

“Hospital. I want… to.. go…to the hospital” Steven said, drunk. Philip shook his head at his friend’s condition.

“Fix yourself first bud before you go to see your son.” Philip added before starting the engine.
