The Billionaire’s Creed

Chapter 50

MYKEL

“How did your mother respond to this?” My father’s eyes glittered with unshed tears as he smiled at me.

“She’s one of the reasons why I’m doing this.” I smiled back as I recalled Mom saying to give my father one last chance.

“Thank you. And the baby-”

“I know. You did great, Dru.” I gripped his shoulder.

“Thanks, son.” He slapped my shoulder. “Thank you.”

“I got to go and check on Adley.”

I found her standing in front of a massive painting with a Champagne in her grip with her serious look, scrutinizing it.

“Do you like that?” I wrapped my arm around her waist.

“Intrigue.”

The more I looked at the painting, the longer it became a familiar face. It was like an illusion. I was not an art connoisseur, but the techniques and the details made sense. “Do you see what I see?”

“I think your brother is amazing.” She sipped her champagne.

“I tried hard not to take offense on that. But yeah. It’s impressive.”

“You’re awesome in your own way, big guy. Don’t compare yourself to your brother. You both are unique in so many ways. You know what question convinced me that I would always choose you?”

I looked her in the eye. “Tell me about it.”

“Blaze asked me two days ago if who was I gonna choose to-you know.” She just blushed.

My gaze stayed in her eyes for a moment before dropping to her lips. “That broke the deal?” A warm tingle fluttered through my belly, knowing she would still choose me over Knox.

“Yeah.” She laughed.

The art dealer walked in. “The most challenging piece he did.”

“I’m taking it.”

“I’m sorry, but it’s sold.”

“To whom? How much? I’ll double the price.”

“Are you sure?” She looked puzzled. Well, she should be.

“Yes.”

I noticed my brother coming toward us. I called him, “Knox!”

“What’s the matter?”

“Who bought this one?” I pointed out the impressive art on the wall.

“I can’t reveal the buyer, bro. Why?”

“Who’s your model?”

He smiled cunningly.

“Figured. You’re full of mischief. I’ll double the price.”

“You don’t know how much I sold that piece.”

“A hundred?”

“I’m not famous, bro.” He turned to the dealer. “It’s a favor. I’m giving the other buyer fifteen percent less on any paintings he will choose, and this guy is donating to The Children and Paints.”

The dealer incredulously ping-ponged her gaze between us.

“Yeah, he’s my ass half-”

“Brother,” I corrected.

“Aren’t you Mykel Creed?”

“Of course, it always comes down to that.” Knox rolled his eyes.

“Yes, I am. Ignore him. He’s a pain in his own ass tonight. So deal?” I grinned and held out my hand.

“I still looked more attractive than him. He only got money-”

“And a beautiful wife,” I cut in.

“I can now clearly see the same DNA running in your veins,” Adley commented.

“I met her first,” Knox mentioned.

“But she chose me.”

Bemused, the dealer shook my hand. “Whoever pays higher. I’ll tell him there’s some kind of mishaps.”

“Thanks, bro. I should paint her more often.”

“I will charge you next time,” Adley replied.

“You’d do that to me? You brother-in-law?”

Adley rolled her eyes, beaming. “Kidding. You’re brilliant.”

“Thanks. You still chose him, though.” He chuckled.

“Sorry, Knox. I go for an older guy.”

She got a pinch on her side from me.

My father and Lyra left the event later on. After we received the painting, we went home right away.

In the car, Adley was scrolling Knox’s Instagram account.

“See something you like?”

“Are you still jealous of Knox?” She found one picture and zoomed it in. “I thought you got most of your looks from Mom.” I loved that she called my mother Mom.

“Now?”

“The shape of your face, nose, and jaw. Your eyes are from Mom, also your lips and hair.”NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

I snatched the phone from her. “I think I had enough of Knox for tonight that will last next month.” I leaned in closer and whispered, “You might as well scream his name instead of mine later tonight.”

“And if that happens?”

“I might have to wring his neck.” I was not joking about wringing my brother’s neck, but that must be the end of my life if something happened like that, even by mistake.

Adley cupped my face and pressed her lips into me. “You hurt me in less than forty-eight hours ago-”

“It’s passed forty-eight hours, baby.” I stared directly into her eyes.

“Who cares? Anyway, but I’m here with you and giving us another chance-”

“Because you chose to fu-” She kissed me again to stop me from saying the word.

“You’re so filthy. How did I let you kiss me with your filthy mouth?”

“I have a few ideas.” This time, I kissed her. When she kissed me back, I deepened, slipping my tongue in her mouth, tasting her sweet as a honey mouth. I groaned as she raked her fingers through my hair, digging her fingernails into my scalp.

I was instantly hard. She gasped for air as I broke the kiss and ran my tongue down her jaw to the sensitive spot of her neck, inhaling her sweet and seductive scent, kissing, sucking, nipping, and licking her skin.

“Mykel.”

I ignored her, calling my name to stop me. I moved my lips to her ear, biting her earlobe and breathing.

A moan slipped from her throat. “Mykel?”

I lowered my head toward her chest, licking the swell of her tit and sucking it into my mouth.

“Mykel, stop. We’re on the road.”

“I want you, baby.” I was hard as steel. The zipper of my pants was ready to pop.

“Me too, but not here.”

I continued planting soft kisses on the valley of her tits. She smelled divine, addicting, and she was driving me insane.

“Babe, you’ll get what you want if you behave for a while.” That stopped me.

I lifted my gaze and stared at her.

“What?”

“You called me babe.”

“Yeah. So?”

I pressed a kiss on her lips once again. It was quick, but I was satisfied and smiling the entire ride.
