The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 927

“Holden, has the Lynette household become too small for you?” Ivy couldn’t believe the decisions Yuri had made.

Even though Holden wasn’t a blood relative, after all the years with the Lynettes, how could Yuri humiliate him like this?

Holden himself hadn’t expected Yuri to drop such a bombshell. But he quickly regained composure. “Whatever father decides, it’s the right call.”

Ivy knew Holden always held Yuri in high regard, but Yuri’s harshness was too much even for an outsider like her to bear, let alone for Holden. She could only imagine the hurt he must be feeling!

Ivy was about to say more when Holden’s phone buzzed with a call from the office. He excused himself and left.

Ivy stood there, fuming.

Brittany descended the grand staircase, only to encounter Saskia.

The dinner party fiasco had become the talk of the town, and Saskia had lost her initial warmth.

A shadow flickered in her eyes but vanished quickly as she approached with a smile. “Hey, Bri.”

Brittany, seasoned in reading people, immediately sensed Saskia’s coldness. “Ms. Lynette.”

Saskia forced a smile. “Bri, welcome back.”

Brittany returning to the Lynette family was hardly good news for Saskia. The thought of all the Lynette legacy eventually going to Brittany made Saskia feel gut-wrenchingly envious.

Yet in the Lynette family, Yuri’s word was law. No one dared to defy it.

Brittany and Saskia were never close, and now with the added tension of conflicting interests, Brittany wasn’t in the mood for chit-chat.

After a brief exchange, she left.

Saskia watched her leave, silent for a long time. Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

The butler escorted Brittany back to Bay Community, and before she got out of the car, he handed her a document.

Brittany didn’t need to guess; she knew it was something from the Lynettes.

Glancing at it, her eyes flickered. Previously, Yuri had given her a welcome gift worth billions.

This document represented another welcome gift in the name of the Lynettes, consisting of real estate and shares combined, totaling over a billion.

The Lynettes were known for their generosity, and to her, they were exceptionally so.

She signed the document.

The butler, ever composed, said, “Miss, Mr. Lynette cares deeply for you and wants to make up for the lost years of father-daughter bond. You’re welcome to return anytime; Mr. Lynette missed you.”

Yuri had had a tough time these past years.

Brittany’s gaze fell. “Please tell Dad that I’ve agreed to the relocation of my mother’s grave.”

The butler’s face lit up with joy; he genuinely recognized Brittany as a capable and decisive young woman.

“Certainly, I’ll inform Mr. Lynette.”

Brittany entered the villa, her mind on Daniel, and hurried upstairs. She opened the door to the children’s bedroom, where the doctor stood up and gestured for silence.

Following the doctor out of the room, Brittany was reassured. “Madam, don’t worry, the young master’s fever has broken. The situation is much improved; you should get some rest.”

Relieved about Daniel, Brittany then thought of Isaac.

“Where’s Zakky?”

“Mr. Salter is in the study.”

After checking on Daniel and seeing his fever had subsided, Brittany finally felt at ease. She went to her room, took a shower, and then made a cup of milk to take to the study.

Isaac, sensing her presence, caught her hand with precision and drew her close, his gaze lowering. “You’re back.”

Startled, Brittany clung to his neck. “Tonight, the Lynettes announced that all the wealth in my dad’s name will be transferred to me.”

Isaac raised an eyebrow and took a sip of the warm milk from her hand. “So, Mrs. Salter is set to join the ranks of the world’s wealthiest?”
