The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart

Chapter 1196

Hestia's eyes were rimmed with red as she looked at the suddenly appearing Nathan, feeling utterly wronged. "Nathan, should I have not come back?" Nathan gestured for her to get into the car.

Once inside, Hestia buried her face in her hands, sobbing loudly.

Nathan drove in silence, eventually stopping in front of a lavish mansion.

Hestia ceased her crying, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings with a sense of unease.

"Nathan, where are we?"

"Our boss wants to meet you."

Hestia had been staying in a regal estate, gaining a fair bit of sophistication during her time there, but this mansion, sitting elegantly by a lake, seemed just as opulent, if not more. Despite being back in Craneville for quite some time, Hestia had no idea who Nathan was truly associated with.

Pushing open the heavy iron gates, Hestia followed Nathan, slowly stepping into the mansion.

They stopped outside a door on the third floor.

Nathan knocked, announcing, "Ms. Bennett has arrived."

"Come in."

Hestia was curious about who Nathan's master could be.

As the study door opened, she was greeted by wall-to-wall bookshelves filled with dense, professional tomes.

Walking in, Hestia's gaze immediately landed on a man sitting in a leather chair, dressed in a dark suit, his demeanor exuding an air of detached nobility.

"Caspian?"Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

She couldn't believe it was him, a face she had seen in the Craneville newspapers, rumored to be a close ally of Elijah.

The Ulbricht family's rapid resurgence was attributed to his behind-the-scenes manipulation. And he was Nathan's master.

Isaac signaled for Nathan to leave and turned his attention to Hestia. "Ms. Bennett."

Hestia stood rooted to the spot. "Caspian, did you want to see me about something?"

It seemed she had little in common with Caspian.

Isaac shifted in his chair. "Ms. Bennett, I've called you here to discuss a potential collaboration."

"A collaboration?"

"Yes."

Isaac slid a folder across the desk. "I'm aware of your lingering feelings for Prince Eltham, and your desire to provide a complete family for your daughter. What if I could reunite you with Prince Eltham; would you be interested?"

Hestia instinctively gripped the folder, disbelief in her voice. "You can do that?"

With Eltham's engagement to Brittany imminent, could Caspian truly mend her relationship with Eltham? Isaac leaned back. "Certainly."

Hestia swallowed hard. "How sure are you?"

In the eight years since, not a moment had passed when she hadn't thought of Eltham.

Returning to Craneville, everyone seemed to be telling her she wasn't worthy!

Why shouldn't she aspire to be with Eltham?

After all, she had borne him a daughter, and Eltham had once cared for her!

If she could indeed reconcile with

Eltham, Twila would be a princesset

every sense of the word, free from anyone's scorn.

Isaac could see the greed in Hestia's eyes, a facade she had maintained well until now.

Her interactions with Nathan had always portrayed her as fragile, swaying his stoic heart on several occasions.

But now, faced with tangible wealth, her true colors showed.

"If you agree to the collaboration, I assure you, you and Eltham will reconcile."

Hestia was skeptical of such a windfall. "What do you want me to do?"

"You needn't do anything."

Isaac had everything planned.

Bewildered, Hestia agreed.

As Nathan drove her back, Hestia turned to him. "Nathan, Caspian was involved with Ms. Lynette, wasn't he?"

She recalled the media frenzy around his past affair.

She couldn't help but admire Brittany, for juggling so many relationships so adeptly.
