The Alpha’s Surrogate Mate

Xavier stared at Bonnie for a while before he finally lets go of both of them.

Bonnie and Brook coughed to gained back their composure but Xavier was still looking at Bonnie, at the contour of her face. The way she looked whenever she saw something that frightened the hell out of her.

“Gwen?” Xavier couldn’t help the word. For a moment, Bonnie’s face went darker as she watched Xavier. Then, she glimpsed back to see if he was referring to someone behind her.

Xavier formed a fist beside him, he was barely in control of the situation. If it wasn’t for Wesley, he might just have killed them the other time.

He looked away. He was missing his mate so much, was why he was suddenly seeing her.

He doesn’t even know why it all had to happen two weeks after their wedding day.

Wesley rushed to him, “Xavier, look at her!” His words forced Xavier to look at Bonnie again. And that was when it eventually clicked in.

Impossible! How could she look so much like Gwen?

Xavier looked back at Wesley, and they made some eyes contact before he walked away. He stoped for a moment, “Take them away!” And he walked away.

Xavier walked into his mansion several hours later with Brooks. He came so late in the night to prevent announcement. He doesn’t want anyone to see Bonnie until he had access to the situation well.

Wesley walked in minutes later, he was a beta and a closer lycan, “Xavier, that was no Gwen. She’s Bonnie, Brook’s daughter. I gathered more information from Gwen’s mother and she confirmed it!”

Xavier’s head spinned. He sat, ” How could they look so much alike?”

It was impossible! He had never seen something like that since all his born days. How could there be a werewolf somewhere that resembled his mate?

“Gwen’s parents will be arriving tomorrow.”

Xavier’s eyes twitched slightly. Aside from the fact that the disappearance of Gwen would cause worries for her family. Yet, there was the fact that war could break out.

Gwen was a relative of Alpha Rowan from the West. Xavier had not been on good terms with Rowan. Maybe because they were both Alpha and well, Xavier seemed to be the strongest.

They fought so well those days even after he knew Gwen was his mate. He thought he would use Gwen to get him. Xavier had to fight wars before he could let him have his mate.

Also, Gwen got kidnapped in his territory.

There would be no explanation that would make sense to Rowan.

And it was not like Xavier wouldn’t be able to win the war but he wouldn’t be able to fight it off well.

Damn! He loved Gwen so much.

“Xavier, you have to make a choice quickly!” Wesley said quickly, bringing Xavier out of his thoughts.

Xavier sighed and looked at Wesley, ‘What do you suppose we do?”

“Bonnie can prevent the war. We can use her for the moment pending the time we find Gwen.”

Xavier’s eyes went wider as the words settled in his brain.

Bonnie looks so much like Gwen. They could make her talk and walk like Gwen. She would be the Gwen to her mother and most especially, Alpha Rowan.

It would give them the time they needed to find out where the real Gwen was.

“Bring her to me!” Xavier commanded and Wesley went to fetch her.

Xavier had decided he would do whatever it takes to stop the war. With much beating and torture, Brook will spill the bean about where Gwen was.

Minutes later, Bonnie was pushed in by Wesley. Only he was allowed to enter. Bonnie had a hood over her head so no one would see her face.

Wesley removed the hood and Bonnie looks up at Xavier. Her face was red and swollen and there were dried tears on her face.

She had been crying, Xavier noted.

He stood up and walked to her. He stopped before her and measured her height. Same height!

He moved behind her and touched her butt with both hands. Bonnie recoiled in fear, “What the fuck are you doing?”

Same temper as her, interesting! He noted darkly.

Xavier laughed, ” Your life and that of your parents depends on this. If you don’t want to die, stay still.”

Bonnie swallowed harder and force herself to stay still.

Xavier grabbed her butt again and measured it. Wait no! Bonnie had a bigger butt.

He looked at Wesley, “Hers bigger.”

Wesley shrugged slightly, “No one will notice. Gwen has been here for two weeks, she could have added a bit of fat.”

Xavier nodded thoughtfully. He walked before Bonnie and looked over at her chest. Bonnie followed his path of gaze towards her breast.

She feared he would grab that too.

But Xavier turned and walked back to his seat, “I have a deal to make with you. My mate is missing and annoyingly, you look like her. I plan to make you my mate for a while till I find the real mate.”

“Gwen’s mom will arrive tomorrow morning. You are to pretend you are Gwen. Well, you will get all the help you want. You are not to fumble as you will be given quick lectures on who Gwen is and how she behaves. If you make a blunder, you will die! You and your family!” His eyes were darker and emotionless. He was like a lion, an angry one.

Bonnie couldn’t talk, she just continued to stare at him. She didn’t even know what to think at the moment.

“One more thing, whosoever asks you how we found you. You shall tell them I rescued you from Brook. You will tell them Brook kidnapped you to get back at me.”

And that was when Bonnie couldn’t take it any longer.

She hissed, which was so displeasing to Xavier. He would have asked the guard to behead her at that moment but what would that do to him?

“You must be stupid if you think I will tell so many lies against my father!” She screamed at him, very much angry and frustrated, “I will never do it! I won’t do it ever! And my father didn’t kidnap your mate,” she added immediately.

Xavier chuckled, ” I wasn’t giving you any choice. You will abide by my words or your mother dies!”

He made a dangerous smirk, ” And then, I will still have to force it all on Brook. A rumor about something special,” He looked away dreamily, ” Brook kidnapped Gwen, gave her something to eat so she wouldn’t remember her existence,” he looked back at her now, ” And what position would that bring you? No matter what you say then will help out, it would only make them curse Brook the more.”

Bonnie couldn’t stop the tears. She felt so many pain in her heart. Xavier was evil! Not only that, he was also a monster.
