Disappointment
Alpha Glary’s POV
When I got to school the following day, I didn’t see Mercedes’ car anywhere.
A slight smile crosses my face, this looks so good. I keep waiting for the school bell to ring and for Clarita to meet me. Now that she doesn’t have to pretend to be friendly or Mercedes’ girlfriend, the evil grin is pinned to her face.
“Alpha, Mercedes hasn’t arrived at school yet. But Zane arrived in a helicopter last night and I think the two are in a big fight at the moment. I’m waiting for the breaking news,” she grins contentedly. “While you’re waiting for that bitch to throw herself in your arms, I think I’m going to comfort the Alpha. He will want to prove that he is able to live without her and spoil me well to make her jealous. Maybe I can get some expensive jewels too.”
I roll my eyes, Clarita doesn’t excel in the intelligence department, but this stupidity, really, I’ve never ever heard of such nonsense out of someone’s mouth. Heartbreak doesn’t work the way she thinks, believe me! I’m an expert by experience in that. But it’s okay, as long as she keeps the Alpha away from Mercedes, her stupidity suits me.
“Clarita, my warning about your relationship with my father still stands. I don’t know what you wanted to prove when I opened the bedroom door, but this is my last order to you to leave my father alone,” I tell her. “If I catch you with him again, Mercedes won’t be able to save you. Then it’s over with you.”
She stands coquettishly in front of me, I’m disgusted as I look at her. This girl doesn’t have that affair for the money but mostly for the thrill of adding an Alpha to her list of lovers. Clarita is actually a pathetic person, I think her jealousy drives her to stupidity. Years of watching Mercedes happy with her mate and basically only spending time with her at school have warped her character. The man getting her as a fated mate next year is really unfortunate.
“Alpha, shouldn’t you talk to your father first?” she challenges me. “He is the one cheating on the Luna. I’m single, I can have sex with whoever I want until my mate arrives. But it is your father who puts the Luna on display”. When she sees my anger bubbling up, she turns around, swaying her hips, tossing her hair back.
“Do not worry. Next time, I’ll make sure your mother catches him in the act so he can explain his needs to her.”
This time she’s so done!
My wolf Kiba forced out and within seconds, I shifted. Clarita tries to run, but is saved by a car in the distance that demands our attention. We watch as Mercedes’ Bugatti arrives and she parks close to mine. Clarita runs towards her with outstretched arms.
Mercedes, I’m so sorry. Come here. Be assured that Zane will soon regret having rejected you. He won’t find such a nice mate as you anymore,” she whispers pityingly. That fake bitch!
Mercedes slams her door and glares with hands on her sides as Clarita hugs her.
“Come on, baby. If you want, we can go to my house and you can tell what happened last night”. Clarita doesn’t realize that Mercedes isn’t hugging her back, she’s so settled into her role.
And then the door on the passenger side opens and there stands no one but Alpha Zane. Immediately I shift again, get some sports clothes from the couch of my car to quickly put on. I’m deeply disappointed, I was already prepared to comfort Mercedes and perhaps take her out of the pack for a short break to cope with her heartache. But by the look of it, I have to postpone my plans, the couple seems to have reconciled. I stand at a distance watching the spectacle unfold now that Alpha Zane has joined.
Alpha Zane walks over to Clarita and stands menacingly in front of her.
“Clarita, was it you who uploaded all the stuff on Instagram?” he growls. “I wonder what you want to achieve with that. If Mercedes needs to be comforted for whatever, she got me, not you, a fake girlfriend. Are you not ashamed of yourself?”
And then I see Mercedes walking up to him and snuggling her back against him. The Alpha wraps his arms around her, pressing her body closer to him. He bends his head and leaves countless kisses on her neck before turning back to Clarita.
“Did you really think the school cafeteria and picnic pictures would lessen my love for her?” The Alpha lets out a mocking laugh. “Wrong thinking. My love for Mercedes is rock solid, nothing can come between us. Don’t try again, we’ve got you.”Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
And then he turns his mate in his arms. The couple takes the time to kiss each other teasingly, it’s clear they can’t get enough of it.
And I watch griefing as about half a million dollars go up in smoke. Mercedes should be in my arms after all the effort I’ve put in and not in the Alpha. That Clarita is such a loser. I should demand my money back from her.
And as I look at the bitch’s face, all I see is hatred. She lets out a low growl and runs from the scene. And then Zane leads Mercedes to the back seat of the car. I can just hear her giggle as the door closes behind them. The dark-tinted window is open a few inches at the top while the air conditioning blows high.
Suddenly I hear Mercedes sigh and moan, repeatedly calling out the Alpha’s name in ecstasy.
Of all your life!
Right here in the school parking lot, in the back of the car, I hear Alpha’s voice laced with lust.
“Spread it wide, love. Let me have a taste of you.”
I can’t hear this anymore. With a red head, I jump into my car and speed out of the school grounds.
Damn!
What a disappointment! …
